Yes to cagoldi and tgrimes, that is for the "academic" year, Sept - May, one class per week. That's a good price for the whole year.

Sitting in the waiting area. Now I'm wishing I had bought vodka on the way to the hospital.
Liquor stores should deliver.

I did run into a very good looking dr who asked if we needed help. We were lost in the hospital. He gave us directions and walked away. 5 seconds later I had to ask someone else for directions because I wasn't listening to anything he said.
Once my dad goes back into surgery I'm going on a mission to find him so I can take a pic for y'all.
BECAUSE THATS WHAT FRIENDS DO!

Without exaggeration, Charlie woke up the minute I hit send, screaming bloody murder. It was so nice while it lasted.

Yes to cagoldi and tgrimes , that is for the "academic" year, Sept - May, one class per week. That price seems to be the going rate. I looked into it in FL for C down-the-road and it was b/n 50-60 per month for one class a week for the school year. Of course I'm sure there are recital and costume fees tacked on at year-end. Somewhat related: we have friends whose daughter is now in first or second grade, and she's been involved in "cheer" since she was a toddler, not exaggerating. Sometimes I think it's the mom living out her childhood dreams through the kid, but whatever, that's a discussion for another day. DH estimated they spent $5K last year on it alone, from everything his buddy has said. I'm kind of thankful for these people though, b/c when it comes time to sign C up for a basic ballet class or whatever, $60/month will seem cheap!

All this talk about "friends" is very interesting to me. Half the time this past year, I'd ask B about someone at school and he just seemed so unaware of his classmates, their names, etc.--like he just couldn't be bothered.
Now all of a sudden, he talks about "friends" a lot. I said something yesterday about how he'll make friends at his new preschool, and he said, "How do I make friends, mommy?" It about broke my heart. So we talked about it a bit and he asked if his new school would be like his old one, etc., then started naming kids who were in his class this past year! He DID know their names, lol.
3 has kicked my butt at times from a parenting perspective, but I think watching these kids develop and expand their world is so cool.

And the dealership quoted me $1600+. 😳
My dad is a diesel mechanic so I called him up. He told me to call around to a few places and should cost me around $400- $500. Off a calling I go...

wedding Sinny has been having frequent reverse sneezing episodes the last week or so. I'm going to have to take him in for another BP check soon so I'll check with the vet but any idea why this would happen all of a sudden? Our chihuahua did this after she had a collapsed trachea. I've never heard of a cat getting a collapsed trachea so I would doubt it is that. Max gets asthma from seasonal allergies and reverse sneezes so it could be something like that. Maybe not even asthma, just irritation in his throat. If it persists or gets worse I would bring him in sooner just to have his chest listened to.

I hate going to the repair shop, especially on my own. I am totally out of my element when it comes to cars and feel like I have no idea whether a quote is good or not.

Catalytic converter and O2 sensors. Just those are $1600. I also have a leaky valve cover gasket that would be a couple hundred on top of that. I'm currently waiting on 2 muffler repair shops to get back to me with quotes.

2017 can suck it. Trigger warning. I just got a text from my step mom letting me know my dad's brother passed away. That's the 4th death in my family this year.

Damn trtlcrzy. I'm so sorry. My family had a few years in a row that we lost 2-4 people. It was awful. So draining, in every way.

These are my grievances of the day: 1. I got a color changing gel polish yesterday, and it does not change colors. 2. I went back and looked at my blood test results from 8/1and then again on 8/14 because something didn't feel right to me and it turns out they missed an abnormal lab on 8/1 that was even more abnormal on 8/14. Now I have to do a stool collection-- so gross!

Cadence is visiting the pre-k room right now(she was the first up at nap time and the preschool assistant leaves, so the numbers are sometimes off and children have to 'visit' other rooms). She looks so freaking happy.

I sure hope N doesn't want to do dance.. the outfits seem $$ and if she has my genetics, it won't end well and will be super awkward.
For J, fall soccer is $135 for 8 weeks or so.

trtlcrzy I'm sorry for your family's loss. Your dad's mom is the one who passed a few weeks ago, right? Good thing you checked, guster.
