So about 4am, I hear Littlest screaming. He's managed to get both of his legs stuck in the crib slats. Poor thing. I'm wondering if it's time to ditch the crib and move to a bed or just hope it's a one time deal. In other news, I've been awake since 4am. Oh no! Does he have bruises? N did that once and had awful bruises.. I felt awful. Coffee for youuuuu Oh shit. I forgot to look. No seriously, I did. DH got him dressed. I will be accepting my Mom of the Year award at 5pm. I'll livestream for y'all.

I'm annoyed this morning. My husband left without kissing me goodbye or saying goodbye. I asked him if he'd empty 3 garage cans before he left. Two of which are basically right next to each other. This was after I vaccumed the whole house and was in the process of making my breakfast after feeding the kids. Apparently this request bothered him enough he couldn't even say goodbye or acknowledge me this morning. That's so frustrating. I wish that he helped out more around the house! It's not like you should even have to ask... Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

skinandbones, Meh. 4:00am does a lot to our brains. FWIW, when it happened to N, I had let him cry for like an hour and he was only got stuck because he tried to climb out. (To clarify, He wasn't stuck for an hour lol... I got him once he was stuck)

Is anyone starting their kid in preschool, who hasn't previously been in daycare? A has never been with anyone other than family and we start a preschool program twice a week later this month. I have so many feelings already! I need to keep my shit together so that she doesn't pick up on my anxiety.

Hi! I'm here. I keep popping in but forget to comment. I can't even walk to the water cooler and still remember that I was going for water lol. I worked until 10pm last night and now I need all the coffee. Going bridesmaid dress shopping tonight!

librarylady, Good luck with preschool! I am sure all the kids will distract her DS had already been to daycare but preschool was so different he just loved it. All the activities and kids and snacks haha. RunsforWineandCarbs DS goes to kindergarten this year (he is 5). Our cutoff is they have to be 5 by August 31 the year they're in school. I had to register him in January when he was 4.

jess213, how awesome for YH!!! I know it would be stressful to move again, but it sounds like a wonderful opportunity if he gets it.

You're so right but now that I've had time to think I'm getting twitchy about it! What do we do with our house? Where would we live? I know nothing about Tampa or the suburbs. Where are the good schools? When would they want DH to start? DS starts school on Sept 4th, would he go for like a week and then we'd move?! How quickly can I pack this house??? I still have boxes that haven't been unpacked from when we moved in last August lol. This will be fine right?

jess213 breathe. It will all work out. My initial thoughts, I can come back with more once you have more details: - #1 when do you know if he has the job? Then, - can you rent your house to cover your mortgage (and maybe +). Having just bought you'll probably lose in breaking your mortgage unless you're in a great resell area. I'd hold on to it until at least you're approaching your next renegotiation with the bank. In the mean time, rent and put away any extra $$ you get from your renters for repairs/downpayment. - id look into school areas asap and YH commute. HIH community is a great starting place. Ask some ladies on here who live in that area. - you could always move down before his job actually starts so YS starts school on day 1-2 ish. - you can pack a house super quick. We sold in 4 days and were out in 18 (we packed the 4 days before the move). It's exhausting but doable. You'll be fine. It's sounds like a very exciting opportunity to me!!

librarylady I don't usually mind most of the housework but getting attitude for simple things like taking garbage out? Plus he didn't replace any of this garbage bags. So I get to do that. A few days ago I made dinner and he came home and said his work fed him. I asked him to clean the kitchen. He put all the food away but left all the dishes in the sink because the dishwasher was full. So the next morning I had to wash by hand.

jess213, i'd be 2 hours away from you! School typically starts in August down here - like my county starts next week. Come to Florida - we can meet half way at parks that are pretty awesome and have play dates!

jedi That sounds like my H. His idea of cleaning up after dinner is putting the food away and dishes in the sink, usually not even cleaned off. Where I'll put food away, load up the dishwasher and get it started if it is full.

Sounds like an awesome opportunity for your family jess213! I can definitely see how it might feel like everything is turned upside-down for a while, but you have your ish together. You'll pull it off spectacularly, I'm sure.

DD starts Sept 2018 - she'll be 5. DS starts in THREE weeks. He turns 6 in December. Nope. A starts pre-k in three weeks too. He'll be five in Feb. Wait, he'll be 5? No. It's 2014 right? He's still a baby, and I have no wrinkles. RIGHT?

jess213, That is so exciting and SO MUCH!! Take the time to talk it out. H and I moved for a job rather unexpectedly, and it was one of the best moves that we, both personally and career wise, ever made.

jess213, if they offer him something, have him ask about a move package. We had movers come, pack the house, pack the truck, haul the cars. If I had owned something, they would help sell the house and help us rent something too. No need to figure it all out now, when you could have lots of help.

Where I'll put food away, load up the dishwasher and get it started if it is full. Yeah and if the dishwasher is full of clean dishes he will clean off the dishes but leave them in the sink instead of unloading and loading the dishwasher. It irks me because a kitchen doesn't really look clean with dishes in the sink! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
