RunsforWineandCarbs - Sorry about your fitbit! That sucks. I need to charge my Garmin and start wearing it again. I haven't had it on for a few weeks, I think I took it off when we started working on the deck, just in case, and keep forgetting to put it back on. I hope your back is feeling better soon. Muscle relaxers are definitely something that lead to sleep!

jedi - I remember my parents bombing our house every Summer because of fleas (we had indoor/outdoor cats). However, I don't remember them "freaking" out about them. I think it's just something I got used to. All the ice cream for the kids! I get that not everyone agrees with that, but it won't hurt them. Also, DS has the same shirt that I is wearing in that picture!

mamallama - Congrats on the sale of your old house! I hope that your new house is completed on time and that the time flies by! It has to be stressful living with the in-laws. We had briefly discussed it, but as much as I love my in-laws, I'd be driven insane by the end of week 1! Also, I hope your DD loves the gymnastics class, it sounds fun!

taketheshot - I have major FOMO of the A15 mom thing too. Even if it was just on her personal page. I've been trying to minimize my time on social media during the day and trying to catch up in the evening, so I usually miss most things.

Peekaru - I hope that your jeweler gets your ring done soon. That would irritate me. I have to have updates on things like that and couldn't be able to handle "maybe" as an answer.

amichelle723 - Sorry about the dairy issue still being present. I'm jealous about kids folding clothes though! DS has tried to help, but definitely doesn't do it the way I do or neatly. DD likes to throw everything out of the basket that is already folded.

Now that I have most of the page to myself, haha. Today is work. I need to do at least 1 load of laundry today, so I need to work on that.
This evening, I think we are having the neighbors over to cook on the grill and maybe go to a carnival down the street in the evening if the weather looks like it will hold out.

My lunch today is going to consist of a parent advisory committee meeting that I'm going to call in for and I need to get myself to the post office to mail something out to a friend in Canada.

jedi - I'm also tired of vacuuming daily. I'm doing it for ants right now, but thankfully the number seem to decrease each day. I've ordered bait traps to set up and hope that solves the rest of our indoor problem. Otherwise I'll be calling the pest company and seeing if they can do an indoor treatment when they come out this month to spray for the mosquitoes again.

Was planning on going to the movies this morning but I think I need to just stay home. I think sometimes I have us do too much throughout the day. Right now A and I are chilling in the baby's room talking about who has nipples. Her topic, not mine.

W slept for shit last night and I didn't get to sleep until 1 so I'm dragging ass today. It's days like these that I wish I had a baby sitter so I could have someone take care of w while I got all the shit done around the house. People who use non family babysitters how did you find them? Sorry about the shit sleep! Yeah I'm feeling like I'm not getting enough housework done because it is so hard with a toddler. I watched YouTube videos yesterday of sahm cleaning routines to inspire me. Today my goal is to clean the house from to top to bottom. I picked up the house so I could clean and it has already been undone by A,.so..... Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I'm annoyed this morning. My husband left without kissing me goodbye or saying goodbye. I asked him if he'd empty 3 garage cans before he left. Two of which are basically right next to each other. This was after I vaccumed the whole house and was in the process of making my breakfast after feeding the kids. Apparently this request bothered him enough he couldn't even say goodbye or acknowledge me this morning.

In case you are wondering, h usually does nothing to help in the morning. He sleeps until like 7:30-8 then takes and hour to get ready for work. Leaves around 9. He works are so I can stay home and I'm grateful but still a little upset

Hey guys!! We are having a great time camping. Minor fights with DS1 and DS2 is STTN in the trailer no problem! He is currently sleeping in the bike trailer (up at 6:30 this morning because some asshole kids were out playing and screaming! Colour me un-impressed! I'm reading along and will try to catch up.

Cut off here is 8/31... N's bday is 9/1. We will most likely challenge it. MH and I both started at 4yo, almost 5. Our bdays are 9/6 and 9/10z I'm a 9/28 and I started when I was 4. Although when I was in school cut off was 10/31.

So about 4am, I hear Littlest screaming. He's managed to get both of his legs stuck in the crib slats. Poor thing. I'm wondering if it's time to ditch the crib and move to a bed or just hope it's a one time deal.
In other news, I've been awake since 4am.

Our life. I need to get this out.
So, DH has been feeling underutilized and unfulfilled in his current position. There's a lot of backstory, but for simplicity's sake, he's been putting out feelers to see what might be available re: an in-house position. He's had a few interviews but either the pay wasn't enough to make t worth it or the position wasn't what he was looking for.
He was contacted last week from a recruiter working to fill a position for a public company in Tampa. The job is basically his dream job and the salary is at least 30k more than what we're making here. Substantial annual bonus, stock options and relocation package. MUCH better work/life balance. They loved his resume and he had a phone interview with the VP of their Tax Dept yesterday. Guys, he hit it out of the park. They want to fly him down to meet with everyone! I don't want to get our hopes up but the VP sent him an email right after their call saying it was great talking to him and "here's my cell in case you have any further questions"...
I'm excited and so, so happy for him...but holy crap this is a lot. We just bought this house last August and I have no idea what we'd do. Rent it maybe? DS has friends at school so I don't want to uproot our family unless it's for the right opportunity (which this seems to be). There's a lot for us to think about here gahhhh.
