Today was another one where I woke up just feeling lighter so I weighed myself and I am down exactly 9 lbs. since July 31st!

waitwhat, I don't really care of zucchini either, but I have been wanting to try zucchini noodles. I think if I can put some sauce on it, that might help! Awesome job dashook!!

How's everyone doing?!
So, I came up with a plan and now I just need to make it happen.
I'm going to join the gym again. I've already talked with MH and came up with a schedule, so I'll be able to go 3-4 days week (I'd prefer 5-6, but I just don't see that happening). I've looked at their schedule and they have 6pm classes Monday-Wednesday that I'd enjoy and also a Saturday morning bootcamp. They have a childcare area, too, so I can take one or both kids with me and H can get dinner going while I'm gone.
I'm also working on getting some meals planned. I need stuff that I can make a lot of and have leftovers for lunch. I've already saved a ton of recipes, I just need to get them all organized. I'm really awful at making my own lunches, it's so much easier to throw leftovers in a tupperware and call it good.
I plan on stopping by the gym later this week to get signed up and then really start everything after Labor Day.

jubilantsquirrel awesome plan! I think it sounds excellent. If you come across easy and healthy meals please feel feee to share. I need to get back on track but with DH home all week, it really throws things off. Realistically, I think September is going to be better for me. We have zero plans and I have a month to buckle down before my friends wedding in October that I'm in. So I will also be starting next week.

We're both going to be the healthiest of healthy eaters in September! Except we'll still drink beer, cause fall beer is my favorite.

My mom told me today that I lost weight. I haven't, but I'm guessing I maybe lost some more inches *preens*. I've been working my butt off so it's nice hearing that it's noticeable.

That's awesome danib! Sometimes the scale doesn't tell the whole story. I'm sure it's noticeable if someone close to you has commented on it!

Did anyone here end up doing that DR exercise all month? Did you notice a difference?
I checked again last night because my whole body is changing so much and I'm getting definition everywhere but my stomach still just hangs. I still have 2 fingers and I don't think my waist shape will change unless I take active steps to fix the separation.

dashook If you're talking about the exercise where you hold in your stomach for 10 min at a time, I've been doing it. I'll look to see if my mother has a tape measure when I get home.

I've had so much fast food between moving and new baby I think I have grease coming out of my pores. And I've been missed fitness last Thursday, yesterday, and tomorrow we head OOT so I will miss again.
I feel gross.
And I got my period so I'm bloated for more than one reason.
It's so glamorous being a lady.

I went and signed up at the gym today. They took my weight and body fat percentage, which I was not prepared for 🙈 I go back Friday to meet with the personal trainer and do all my measurements and get a baseline or whatever. I hope they don't push the personal training thing too hard. My membership comes with one session a month for a check-in with measurements and all that jazz, which I want to do, but I'm really only there for the fitness classes.
