I have the multi-event feed on my computer at work and its very interesting that the women's beach volleyball, both teams are using underthings/pants instead of the miniscule uniforms.

Impressive! My days of starting babies are definitely over, but I hope yours gets that good Connemara brain! Quoting to get all the horse/eventing people: what are your thoughts on the dressage news about Charlotte Dujardin? —former super amateur eventing rider (as in, maxed at novice bc I’m a chicken.) I was surprised and disappointed by it. We’ve all used a whip as a training tool in appropriate ways, but she knew, even in the moment, that this was not acceptable. The horse was clearly not understanding what was being asked, and her “technique” in that video was not ever going to help that horse understand. |

Argentina W field hockey 🏑 are really good. I'm hoping USA will be able to get back into it. Such a fun game to watch.

I lived the American women's synchronized diving team today- their names are Cook and Bacon and one of their moms wore a bacon costume and they all had shirts that had a picture of bacon in a pan. So cute!

Any of my horse friends watching the dressage? Michael Jung’s test was gorgeous. I didn’t see Collett’s test but it was the highest scoring test ever at the Olympics, must have been amazing! Yes! Her test was amazing. I love watching the flying changes—when they’re smooth they’re so beautiful. |

We learned about rugby today and now need to go to a real game. I’m loving that beach volleyball now has more choices for bottoms. But poor Canada was just hoping for no nip slip today.

Just woke up so I’m catching up on gymnastics. I’m glad they have the individual sport feeds because the main NBC feed is only going to show Simone I guess. As much as I love her, I’d like to see everyone else too! At least the rest of team USA!
