Bench continues to go really well despite being slightly wreck from the water cut. I was dragging all weekend from that.
I've been having issues with my leg/hip/knee/whatever - it was mostly impacting deadlifts but last night I just couldn't squat to save my life. DH had to threaten to be done helping me this meet prep if I tried to keep going. Later he found found a whole bunch of knots in my glute that were likely not helping. I could walk down the stairs not weird this morning and flexing my foot didn't make it cramp for the first time in ages. So hopefully that helps with some of the ongoing things.

I had a pretty great group race on Saturday. I stuck with the 10k distance and kicked its ass. I finished in 1:00:45, granted the trail didn't involve much in the way of climbing, but I definitely that pace. The group leader and another guy brought griddles, so we had mimosas, pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, fruit, and pastries. Such a great end to the trail group season!

20 minute 2000s run with Becs this morning, a 20 minute full body strength, and then about a mile and a half of walking errands.

Morning.
I again rolled out of bed well after my alarm, but early enough to squeeze something in. I did a 30 minute run with Olivia, a 5 minute core and a 5 minute stretch. Despite the fatigue in my muscles, I felt good once I warmed up, which was a slow and creaky process. I wish I had more time to run longer. Oh well.
I'm going to the beach on a field trip today, so I'm hoping I can just lump around in the sand most of the day and not move, lol.

Was feeling really run down the past couple of days and hello, there, I got my first period since Thanksgiving last night. Yay.

It’s hump day.
I had to be up an hour earlier than usual for what turned out to be a 5-min meeting. 😖
- 20 min PUTV Upper Body Strength with JS - 5 min Upper Body Stretch with HC
I should get a walk after work but a nap might be substituted instead as I am dragging right now.

It was “bike to school” pride ride today, which meant getting out the door with DD an hour earlier than usual, which meant rest day for me (except for my own very slow and easy bike ride with DD.) I’ll be back at it tomorrow.

I did Olivia's 30 minute hyper-pop run at lunch, it's basically an intervals class and the playlist is super fun.
HCOF stack on deck but it will have to wait until after work.

I’ve been down (sick) since Sunday. No activity except today I did walk out to the mailbox and up and downstairs a few times for laundry. My back hurts from coughing and my brain and body need to move but… I need rest.

30 minute low impact ride with CDE this morning. Those can be sneaky work! I was actually within 10 of my 30 minute PR and very sweaty by the end.
Long, late day of work ahead so that’s it for me but glad I got something in.

I got in my outdoor workout before the temps rise.
I did a repeat of Matty’s 30 min Kacey Musgraves Walk + Run but stuck to the walk-run intervals as I’m planning to start my 5k plan next week.
I added on what is my new favorite post-run stretch with Wilpers and Skid Row singing “I Remember You.” Which was my prom song. 🤣

Brought my 10yo DS to run club last night. I was too slow for him so he peeled away and ran with the fast group, doing hill repeats like it was nothing. Then we ended with some sprint time and he raced, and kept up with, the coach and our fastest guy runner.
Oh to be young lol. My legs hurt today.

Kendall is leaving Peloton now too?? I sawwww!! Ugh, I love her! She's my musical doppelganger. I love her playlists and her workouts. I'm definitely more sad to lose her than Ross.

Hi.
I was awake at 4am, laid for "a few minutes" then fell back asleep until 5:20. Oops. I did a bit after school, but not as much as I could have done if I actually got up when I was awake 😑
20 minute interval run with Matty 10 minute chest and back with JJ 5 minute core with Robin 5 minute stretch with Camila
No yoga tonight, softball goes way too late. And we're getting ice cream afterwards I think, so bedtime will be extra late tonight. That run was also most definitely a fartlek run and not intervals. I loved it and I wish there more like it on the platform. Definitely bookmarking it for next time I need to just go hard for 20 minutes.

Same on the music front!! I’m glad we’re getting more pop punk from folks like Tunde and Camila. But Kendall brings that emo so well.

You can filter by English, she has a bunch of classes. But I agree, I'm super glad more people are getting pop punk rides.

30 minute PZ with Wilpers from yesterday this morning. I think he was trying to kill everyone. Zone 6 intervals. First one minutes, then two. I was seeing spots on the penultimate one— so tough!

Kendall is leaving Peloton now too?? Oh nooo. I hope her content stays on for a while. Yesterday I did a 20 min Fleetwood Mac Lanebreak on light and just took it easy. 5 min upper body stretch helped my back out. Probably nothing again today.

I finally broke my running streak the other day. My shin splints just kept coming back and I had some stuff going on the other day so I was like "meh" and took a couple of days off. That being said, I was able to go out for 4.25 miles this morning with just a tiny bit of tenderness, so that was awesome.

We’ve been on vacation this week. Camper was awesome but need to work out the bed situation (we got an awesome mattress thing but for some reason my upper back doesn’t think it’s awesome 😭)
Did a super short mtn bike with the boys one day. Dropped in to the YMCA two days to resume lifting (reverse taper and SO proud of myself for doing that). And did a short 20 min jog for my first post-race run, which felt awful, but got it done 💪🏻

Hi!! I have missed you all week. Work decided to block this site, so yea!! No checking in for me. I have been running and doing strength all week. Ate pretty damn good too.
Today was my 800th walk and Hoskin shouted me out so that was a fun start to my day!
Happy Saturday everyone.

Morning.
I never checked in yesterday, but it was A DAY. All I managed was a mile walk with the dog and DD2 then my 5 minute core.
This morning I got in a solid run at least.
45 minute interval run with Wilpers 5 minute cool down run with Camila 5 minute core with Robin 5 minute stretch with Marcel
That was my second run labeled as an interval run that wasn't this week. The Matty run I did was actually a fartlek and this was very much a tempo run. Then I used the cool down to just crank out a bit of extra distance to get 5.5 miles. It felt great and I could have run forever, but we're headed to Inside Out 2, so we had to get moving.
We'll see if I have any candy. My tummy is off today, so it'll be a game time decision.
