I did 2h15min long slow day with my run group this morning, for just over 16k (10 miles). We have a chip timed half marathon set for next weekend so I’m interested to see how I do with that vs my March half.

Only time for a quick 20 minute ride this morning. I did Hannah C’s live pop ride at 8. It was my 700th. No shout out, but I’m ending the month with 259.6 miles which I’m happy about.
I got out for 2.4 miles through the quirky campground we stayed out outside of Boston last night. It was so tiny, I made like a billion laps through the rolling gravel hills to get that mileage.
Been awhile since I posted here! I'm doing the Northwest Passage Ragnar next month and my longest leg is 7.7 miles so I've been picking up my training again.
I'm loving the PNW for training! It was so consistently hot and sunny in SoCal this time of year I could only run at the buttcrack of dawn. Even when it's really sunny, there's nearly always some breeze and the area I run in has lots of trees. I've done a little trail running too, but I need to get some trail shoes. There's a local run club near me sponsored by a running store, so I also try to join them for their Thursday runs if I'm available. Everyone in this fucking town runs LOL.
One thing that's been bothering me lately is an old back injury I got snowboarding like 10 years ago. It basically feels like a knotted muscle in my lower back. It doesn't bother me consistently or hurt while running, but it can affect my sleep position. I'm wondering if going back to PT might help there, or maybe acupuncture? I'm not really sure if a series of massages could get it "out" really, although the next time I get a massage I should probably ask.

I had a rest day on Friday, errands on Saturday, and cleaned and organized like a maniac (6-7 hours, including a wild hair I had about cleaning the entire fridge from top to bottom) on Sunday, so no official workout since last Thursday. But yesterday's efforts were worth it as I love to come home to a clean, organized home from vacation. MH and I headed to Gettysburg (history nerds LOL) for the next several days a little later this week.
For today, I finished PUTV 1 with W4/D3 20 min Full Body Strength with JJ and then a 15 min Full Body Stretch with SS.
My plan was to start PUTV 2 and cycle through the volumes but Andy's TSD2 just might be calling my name.
As someone who does not have any kind of running background or training, I am really appreciating the pace targets. Wilpers is right when he says most runners take their easy runs too hard and their hard runs too easy. It me. Pace targets keep me accountable and I'm finding it useful in all the run classes I've taken.
I’ve been MIA for a bit. Idk where I’m really at in my training but I did a brick today. 50 min bike with 2 longer hard sustained efforts and just a 10 min slow jog. Didn’t feel awful but also not great. I really need to get back in the weight room.
