Last night was 3.55 miles at run club.
I overslept today but plan on strength when I get home plus a mile walk for the June streak.
I am at 798 walks on peloton. I need to figure out a live class to take before I accidently take my 800th walk!
Food Strawberry peanut butter protein shake Cherries Llm Italian pasta soup Turkey tacos with beans and salad.

45 minute CVV ride (from Saturday). Focus on high cadence. Back and forth between 1 minute zone 2 85-95rpms and 2 minute zone 3 95-105 rpms, with 2 30 second sprints in there. He kept saying it was not a tough ride, but I found holding a 90+ cadence for a full ride quite difficult, despite the zones.

Present. Took two rest days of just walking. Decided to do a 30 min walk+run today. So hot, forgot it’s summer now.

My run today was the suck. Almost 80 degrees and 85% humidity and it wasn't even noon yet, but I did it.
- 35 min N2R W11/D3 - 5 min Post-Run Stretch
I am hoping to get out for a walk later tonight when it cools back down again.
I also made a grocery run last night and kept the processed crap, sugary stuff (including no soda, not even the mini-cans), salty snacks out of my cart and honed in on the healthy things I love - fresh fruit and veggies, lean meat, greek yogurt, etc. I'm planning on making Lillie's Skinny Enchiladas tonight. I know that I will feel better, which is most important, but also start to see more results from all my workouts. There is more muscle there, but I've gotta peel back some of the fluff to see it. LOL.

It’s race week!!
Things are a bit wonky this week. I took 2 rest days over Sunday/Monday but it’ll be good.
Today was quick bike workout which wasn’t bad but today is so hot 🥵. Of course we have a big cool down so I’m mentally planning on wearing extra gear for the race.
Focusing on food/water/sleep

First half of the year went well. Goals for June are to slowly increase mileage and continue with run club 1-3 times a week. I’m struggling a bit with having set days for run club, with juggling time with kids and other things that need to get done on weeknights.
Did my first trail race with the kids last weekend, that was super fun. Next one is end of July.

30 minute run with Matty this morning, it was a beautiful day to get outside! I also walked for about an hour total to get some errands done, and have a weights class in my stack to get to, but I keep doing other things (updating here, oops!) instead. I've been thinking through goals for June, and they are to keep up with 3x week weights and running, plus yoga/pilates the other days, but we leave for a 2 week trip on the 16th, and I am not planning any formal exercise during that time.

Congrats on the races jaidit, Rusty Red, and jorkzy! I saw your pics from that trail race jorkzy and now you have me thinking I need to try a trail race 🤣 Plus runtok tells me that trail races have better snacks lol. As a back of the pack runner I can get on board a race that gives me Oreos!

I’m here! May was fine. I had my half marathon which was the highlight of the month and even though it didn’t go the way I had hoped I had a great time and am already signed up for another.
For June I have a 10K on the books for the end of the month. I’m not sure what I’m going to do training wise. It’s not enough time for a whole training plan but since I’m coming off a half I know the distance isn’t a problem. I should probably add some speed work in though. Maybe I’ll just restart my half training plan but look up some 10K plans just to steal the speed sessions. Idk.
Today was just a one mile run for me. I got stuck in a torrential downpour about 3 minutes into my run so I cut it short. But honestly, it was kind of the most fun I’ve had on a run in a while. I did have 2 cars stop and ask me if I needed a ride and I’m like…..I’m already soaked… lol. Anyway 10/10 recommend running in the rain, singing along to some great music, and splashing in all the puddles!

I did Kirra and Matty’s 20 min Creating Space yoga class. Didn’t think I could love Matty more, but I sure do.

I got lapped by several dudes who were running twice my distance 🤣 Also walking up the hills is perfectly acceptable. These are my people lol

I have a rain bag in my car with towel, dry socks and an old pair of shoes oh and a dry shirt for afternoon runs like this. I can tell you some of my best fun solo runs are in the rain! It's really refreshing, lol

Last group trail run of the season last night, kind of. We have a "race" this weekend, I'm probably going to do the 10k distance (I've been following the training for a half but 10k sounds better right now). Anyway, last night was good- it rained at the beginning, which was such a relief, and we saw a good rainbow, a deer, and a box turtle. Also, happy Global Running Day! I haven't gotten out yet, but I'm planning to this evening.

Peloton finally released a half marathon training program! Much excite!
And hi, I’m still struggling over here but getting in things here and there. Yesterday I did 20 min mental health month stretch with RK and a 20 min low impact ride with Camilla.

Slow stretchy 1600 yards in the pool today. Felt pretty good but I’m tired. Easy crockpot dinner tonight with strawberry shortcake for dessert. So many strawberries I’m trying to get them done in batches but it’s taking forever.

Happy Global Running Day!
I hadn't planned on running today but given what today is, I had to. Also, I really wanted that Apple Watch badge. It's the little things.
- 20 min PUTV Upper Body with RK - 30 min* Global Running Day Run with Camila, Jess Sims, Susie, Jeffrey, and Becs - to get the badge I had to complete a 5k which I haven't done in forever and didn't want to kill myself (especially with temps in the 80s and 75% humidity), so I turned it into a run/walk, walking the recoveries for the first 2 miles, then power-walked the last 1.16. I was happy that the glitch that happens where it keeps tracking after the workout is finished happened so I could track the entire distance. My team was super-slow but IDGAF, it was nice to do that distance again. I had to laugh because when I manually completed it, it showed me as running the 5k in 30 min. LOL, no. I wish I had 10 minute miles. Maybe someday. - 5 min Post-Run Stretch with Matty - 10 min Full Body Foam Rolling with Hannah C

May was good. We had a some remodeling going on (from last year's hail storm), so that derailed me a little bit for the amount of daily workouts I do, but I'm nearing 18K mins already, so I'm on track for the annual goal regardless. For Mother's Day this year I decided to purchase the rower! The first delivery was available within a week, but I scheduled it for 2 weeks out due to the above mentioned remodeling. It got delivered last Tues and it's just such an amazing machine. So sleek and so quiet, and the form assist on it is just an awesome feature. I started the "you can row" program, so that's going to be a huge part of my June goals! You've been destroying it girl! I like to peep people's minutes occasionally and you are just crushing my entire friends list. Jealous you got the row! I'm glad you love it! Aww, thank you so much! You're right there with me, moving and inspiring us all each day! I look at my friend list and there are so many above me. Someone has over 50K minutes!!! Just freaking unreal haha.
I have debated on the row for so long, and especially after their latest news, but then decided to just go for it especially since we now have a financing option in IA (Citizens Pay). Finally!!!

This morning I did:
30 min upper body strength with Ben 5 min core with RK 10 min stretch 10 min meditation
Planning on doing a live row class after work as long as I can get home by then, otherwise outdoor walking is the second choice.
I had a triple milestone yesterday!! 500 meditations, 600 strength & 800 walks. I've done a double before, but never a triple in the same day lol!! I got 2/3 shoutouts as well, which is always nice.

50k!? You know that person runs some just workout minutes for everything. I've seen people say they run when they mow, or run errands because they're "walking" while in the stores. My top friend is over 20k, so not quite so crazy, but still up there!

Howdy.
I ran after school today. I saw yesterday that peloton was dropping their global running day run at 6am this morning and I wanted to do it today, so I held off getting up this morning (much hardship). I did that and a 5 minute core before DS shit his pants. Yoga tonight.
Peloton also released target pace runs! I beta tested that and it's amazing and I love it. It took a lot of my will power not to squee all about it to you guys, lol. I was just thinking the other day that I was surprised they weren't dropped yet since they pulled them from beta months ago now. I'm excited to see some new classes from the small handful we had for beta testing too. I may try out their half marathon plan this summer too. Curious.

It’s really weird the obsession people have with it to take it to that extent. 🥴

Hello hello! I went out and did 5K for my Global Running Day badge. DD1 ran a mile with me and DD3 stuck around and ran the whole 5K! I let her lead on the pace and it was a nice little zone 1/zone 2 jog. She loved it and asked if she could run with me every day. I might take her up on it a few times a week because that is a pretty nice way to keep my easy runs easy. And I get to spend one-on-one time with the middle kid that probably needs it the most.
