CF this morning. I wasn't feeling the greatest, but I got it done and can check the box for the day. My 70 year old aunt is on her way to my house. Somehow, I got roped into driving her to see the eclipse. We have to head a couple of hours south into Ohio to see full totality. I am DREADING the traffic and spent all weekend anxious and thinking of ways to back out. But she is SO EXCITED. She's sent me no less than 6 different links all about the eclipse in the last 72 hours and I just can't do that to her. This is beyond bucket list for her, so I'm smiling and popping my anxiety meds. And, I figured if we're going to do it we might as well go big, so I'm bringing the kids with us too. They're also very very excited for an adventure with their favorite great aunt. Thoughts and prayers please.... I'd go part way and call it close enough. We are way away from totality and will still have 80% coverage.

30 minute slow flow this morning - super slow and felt really good. Walk on deck, maybe 2, depending on work and kid schedules.

I couldn’t get anything on my peloton app or Apple Music to load today and I was so annoyed, so I just skipped a class.

Yesterday was a mess. Well, I was a mess. But I did a 30 minute 30 Seconds to Mars lane break Loved the playlist.
Today just 20 min 2000s walk, it was all American Idol.

Just a stroll today to move. We were in the 90%+ zone and that was really cool today
Yesterday I did a brick (55 min bike and 10 min run) as well as squats/bench. Sore today but not toooo sore and trying to keep from getting worse tomorrow

Finishing up the triple crown this week. 30 min G/L with Adrian, 10 min core with Emma. Added on a 10 min barre with Hannah. B - English muffin, turkey bacon, fruit L - leftover pasta from Sunday + Caesar salad D - Skinnytaste Meximelts - ground turkey, cheese, and pico de gallo burrito thing S - low carb pita with PB and TJ's strawberry jam We were in 94% coverage and had a fun time sitting outside this afternoon with neighbors.

Hi ya'll. Yesterday was a 30 min endurance run + striders for the running challenge i am in. I had my run buddies do it with me at run club. I also got my butt out of bed this morning. Jumped back into my BBOD account since I forgot to cancel it and started a super block of Job 1. Today was glutes, back and core. Followed up with a lower body stretch wtih callie.
Food: B: egg with provlone, avo, bacon and english muffin S: hard boiled egg L: Dos Tacos, beef with hard shell D: Zach Coen Buffalo Chicken with cheesy rice
A has a softball game tonight and she is pitching, my anxiety/stress is gonna be thru the roof.

Only had time for a 20 min outdoor run this AM. I cannot believe the last two years at this time I was Tri ready - I feel so out of shape this year!

Took a rest day yesterday and watched the eclipse. (We had 90% totality— it was cool!) I had PT this morning and then I just did a quick 20 minutes on the bike.

We had 100% totality and it was so amazing. A sight I will never forget for sure.

Afternoon: - 6 min N2R IT Band Warm-Up - 35 min W6/D1 N2R for 2.22 miles - 5 min Post-Run Stretch with Becs - 10 min Focus Flow: For Runners with Denis

Speed bike workout today just 33 min this week is a bit of a deload 🙌🏻

I took yesterday off from working out, and I think it must have helped me this morning. I felt great. Plus, it was a power day with a lot of walking recoveries, so I was able to go hard for my all outs.

I chose sleep today. I know from experience when I try to get back to my school and workout schedule that working out on my first day back always wipes me out. We stayed up way late last night too, so this was the right call. I should be able to get to bed at a normal time tonight and get up tomorrow morning.
Did a 20 minute interval run with Hannah after school. I've got a 10 minute core focus flow and the broga class lined up for tonight too.
Food was good. Mostly back on track.

20 min upper body with Andy, 10 min arms with Tunde, 10 min core with Emma. 3.2 mile walk at the ballfield while DS was at his practice. I've been enjoying these walks in the country, lol. Yeah, I could go home because practice is 1.5 hours but I feel like its a good opportunity for additional movement and I can peek and see how he's hitting when I circle around. And I certainly can't sit and watch the whole time because that's boring AF.
B - tofu + TJ's hashbrown L - made a bowl with some white rice, leftover turkey taco meat, and a bunch of pico D - Skinnytaste Italian sub salad S - frozen banana with PB and chocolate chips

30 minute interval run with JJ Extra 10 run with Olivia 10 minute chest and back with Callie 10 minute core with Emma 5 minute stretch with Robin
Yoga tonight.
Food should be fine. I forgot the salad stuff I bought yesterday in the fridge at school, so I'll go out and get a salad for lunch today and try to remember to grab that out of the FACS teacher's fridge today.

- 30 min Legs & Biceps with RK - 5 min Full Body Stretch with Logan
I pulled something in my back on the next to last rep when I racked my weights for squats for the final set as I upped weights today. My lower half was ready but my upper half, apparently not so much. I hope it's calmed down soon.

deadlifts/row this morning. I was super unmotivated but by the end of the workout I felt that yippee of why I really love lifting. so that was nice.
Then to the pool this evening, I probably should have swapped for a speed run today because it is SO nice out and the next 2 days are going to be cold and rainy. Anyway these swim workouts are annoying to no end. Only 1000 yards today (yes deload but still...) and omg this guy programs things like 100 drill, 100 pull, 100 drill, 100 pull. I'm so sick of changing out equipment. I'm very likely going to just start doing something along the lines of what he's got but my own version. (but the perfectionist in me is in conflict because I want to do it just as it's written). ALSO while I'm ranting wtf to these new swimsuits?? I get that they're eco friendly and made of recycled water bottles or whatever but they have nearly NO stretch, I legit have bruises on my collarbones from the teeny straps digging into me. And getting out of them wet with hips is a whole workout itself. /end rant

5 minute warm up ride with Jess King 30 minute EDM ride with Benny Extra 10 ride with Jess King 5 minute core with Olivia 5 minute stretch with Emma
I had another strength workout stacked, but DS woke up and would only let me deal with him, so while I got to go downstairs and finish afterwards, I ran out of time for that one.
I missed yoga last night because we were up late. I'll get it in tonight.
Food should be good. Everything is prepped and good to go.

Yesterday was 10 mins of yoga for runners and a 20 min walk with matty, but I jogged this one. Today I need to fit in strength before ball practice. And it's supposed to rain all afternoon but clear up right before practice, the worst, wet fields. ugh.

So the rain is all around us but held off here so I went out for speed run today. I guess “run” is in my head now because my default tracking on my watch I’ve always picked is “outdoor walk” but today I just hit run without thinking about it instead 🤣
I’m so thirsty and really need to hydrate and stretch today. And fix my toe? I did a wonky flip turn yesterday messing with my paddle strap and knew I nailed my foot on the edge of the wall but after my run today I realized I peeled the nail on my middle toe back quite a bit. 🤢
