Happy Birthday cnf! Glad you get to celebrate yourself today, you deserve it! Had trouble getting out of bed today, but managed a 20 minute Pilates, then a 10 min arms and shoulders with RK. Walking later on to round it out for today.

I'm still here, chugging along. We were on Spring Break last week in South Padre, and I managed to get 20 miles of running in on the beach which is my favorite place to run. I'm also still doing pretty good on my macros and didn't gain any weight last week, even though I didn't track and tried to make good choices instead. This week I'm on target. I'm also really, really loving this macros program. It addresses so much more of the mental aspect (vs. just "here's your macros, hit them"), which is the part that sabotages me every time. I finally feel like I have some understanding and control over this.
It was back squats and lunges at CF on Monday, so my legs have felt like lead since then. Nevertheless, I've gotten tread runs in both yesterday and today. I may try to squeeze in a yoga for runners class later this afternoon.
Yesterday: 30 min 90s run w/ Andy Extra 10: walk w/ JTR 5 min post run stretch w/ Adrian 10 min lower body stretch w/ Rad
Today: 20 min 2000s run w/ Jon 15 min 2000s pop run w/ Jon 10 min post-run stretch w/ Wilpers

Yesterday I did Becs' 30 minute femme power run followed by an extra 10 with Camila for about 4.5 miles. I was supposed to do 7 or 8 but it was DS2's 10th birthday (a big one!) and we all went out to dinner. He had a great day! Worth missing a couple miles.
So today I'm looking at my work schedule and scheming where I can fit in Becs' 75 minute run from a couple weeks ago to make it up, and thinking about what meetings I can skip.
DS1 has a cross-country MTB race this evening.

OTF this morning. It was basically my ideal day. If I were to write a template, it’s what I would have written. 😂
Power day on the treads- builds with lots of base to push, and walking recoveries and lots of all outs.
No rowing! 🙌
Strength was supersets with heavy sets and then light sets to fatigue.

I started PT at a new place today. Intake eval and then a lot of small ankle exercises. She did clear me to swim if I do minimal kicking, so that’s good! And I can continue with the low impact rides, but I need to cut back on walking/ standing time. Walking is my primary mode of transportation (or walking 1/2 to 1 mile to the subway), so that’s going to be a challenge. But I’m determined to heal, so I’ll figure it out.
I also did a 30 minute PZE with Wilpers. That should be it for today!

I posted in the March thread yesterday b/c that's apparently where I'm still at mentally. I'm still doing the Triple Crown but adding in other workouts because I feel like the Tunde arms isn't enough. The Adrian G/L workouts are awesome though. Today I did 15 min arms with Tunde, 20 min full body with Rebecca, 10 min core with Emma. B - English muffin, turkey bacon, fruit L - leftover salmon, brown rice, edamame D - Skinnytaste white chicken chili S - I think pretzels and chocolate hummus

I joined the training group again for another session of trail runs. We had our first one on Tuesday, got in 3 miles. The kid was going to go w/ me (which I was both excited and apprehensive about) but she bailed on me! Then was all "I wish I had gone, can we go for a run now though?" Right after I got my dinner cooked. And it became a THING. I was like sure, then she was like well I don't want to wear my sneakers can I ride my bike. Sure buddy, let's just go b/c I still need to eat dinner (I just had a pb&j at 5) But then there was a bunch of traffic in the neighborhood which freaked her out so we turned around earlier than she planned. Then b/c she was so disappointed in herself she asked for a second chance, but this time she would run. I really didn't want to but no amount of trying to talk through her feelings seemed to helping, and I am also trying to get her into running w/ me some so I want her to feel good about it yada yada yada. So we did. I let her set the pace and almost right away she felt so much better about it all, so I'm glad we did it. Anyway, got 3 miles in yesterday and planning another lunch run today. Breakfast was meh flavor-wise (I forgot my normal oatmeal fixings so I had to use what was in my snack drawer), lunch should be good (chicken w/ za'atar seasoning, farro, and beets w/ vegan feta; roasted broccoli for a snack). Dinner is probably going to be lemon basil meatballs with rice ( jenneatsgoood.com/lemon-basil-turkey-meatballs-creamy-rice/) or red curry to start cleaning out the fridge since we leave for Fl on Sunday.

Morning.
10 minute warm up ride with Jenn 30 minute climb ride with Cliff 20 minute upper body strength with Callie 10 minute core with Tunde 10 minute stretch with Kendall 10 minute foam rolling with Hannah C
Mile walk with the dog in the most miserable fucking weather possible. Yoga tonight.
I missed a PR on the 30 minute ride by one point. Gah! When I realized how close I was I tried to power through the cool down and just couldn't do it before the timer stopped. My legs were so fried though, it took forever for me to get into it. I haven't had a bike PR in a while. Bummer. Oh well.
Today I am going to lay on my couch in sweatpants, eat left over cake and ice cream, watch old reruns of Grey's Anatomy, and read trashy romcoms all day.

cnf, that sounds like an amazing day. Tread run this morning. I had given myself an out and was going to allow myself a rest day if my legs still hurt, but apparently the handful of ibuprofen I took last night did the trick. My legs are finally no longer lead blocks, so it was much easier today. For the last two days I was barely able to hit and keep a 11/11:30 min/mile pace, today I was at my normal(er) 9:30ish. 20 min interval run w/ Alex 20 min interval run w/ Kirsten 5 min post-ride stretch w/ Bradley

30 minute full body strength with Jess Sims (hard for first thing in the morning) 30 minute house run with Jess King + a little extra for 3 miles. Short walk with H, and another short one during a call I have shortly.

Was sneezy/drippy/allergy face all day yesterday so I took yesterday off.
Back to the pool today. 1400 yards nice and slow and stretchy.

Been a little lazy checking in but still getting it done. Today was 30 min steady state (11:19 for me) with a longer warm up and cooldown, total 75 min. Clocked 6.32 miles out of it.
