We made chicken nuggets for dinner. And by made, I mean ground 5 lbs of chicken breast, pattied it, breaded it with panko, and pan fried a few. The rest are in the freezer to be frozen then vacuum sealed. It’s not exactly healthy, but they were delicious and I’m sure healthier than anything from a drive thru. This sounds great! How is it not healthy?

I got up before work again and did my first live ride - 20 min Climb ride with Ben. I like him but I don’t think I like climbs. At least not at 5:30am. Also as a new rider, the leaderboard is kind of defeating. I hid it after a while. Then 10 min core with Daniel and I love him

Good luck cnf and Rusty Red!! Climb rides can be really tough jorkzy. Don’t let that leaderboard get you down though. Hiding it can be a good thing, I do that too.

I got in an early morning workout today. I’m feeling a little under the weather, allergies I think, and hoped it would pep me up. It worked for a while, but I’m feeling groggy again already. I see a nap in my future today.
Today’s workout:
-Fitbod lower body strength -10 min climb ride w Alex -5min stretch w Alex

Good luck today, cnf and Rusty Red!! jorkzy, the leaderboard is only fun for me when I filter it to just a specific group. Like if a bunch of HIHers were on a ride together, you could filter it just to the #HIHCrew leaderboard tag and only see us. When it’s thousands of people it’s just pointless, IMO. Glad you love Daniel! I’m obsessed.

I got up before work again and did my first live ride - 20 min Climb ride with Ben. I like him but I don’t think I like climbs. At least not at 5:30am. Also as a new rider, the leaderboard is kind of defeating. I hid it after a while. Then 10 min core with Daniel and I love him The only time I ever display the leaderboard is if I’m riding live with people here. Or sometimes I will filter it to just me if I have done the ride before. But otherwise nah, it’s too distracting. I enjoy rides much better when I just focus on the music and instructor.

My butt is so sore from my hill walk yesterday (and maybe also from some vigorous bedroom activities. ☺️ ). I’m going to lay low today because I got a covid booster yesterday and last time I felt much worse after I worked out. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence but I’m not taking my chances. Hopefully I’ll get a decent amount of steps though.

caer we go to Hawaii in 2 weeks and I have been having similar thoughts. But, we are taking a lot of precautions and I feel good about it at this point.

I think I would not be a huge fan of the leaderboard (except for the filtering option). I remember the handful of spin classes I did at the Y from a few years ago and them having a giant screen up with generic drawings to represent the riders in the class and they had numbers on the back of their shirts that corresponded to a number on your bike. I was always at the bottom or close to it and I was represented by a clearly-elderly woman or man. 🙄
Which was dafuq on some many levels.

I didn’t work out yesterday, but I ate well and got some stuff done around the house which was nice. DS is currently napping on me, but when he wakes up, I will try for a ride and some strength. He hasn’t wanted to be put down really at all for naps in the bassinet. I may start using the crib, but H has been dragging his feet about changing it back from a toddler bed.
Anyway, today should be pretty good. DD1’s softball game isn’t until the afternoon, and I’m worried it will be hot for DS, but at least it gave me time to sleep this morning. H took him out of the room until almost 8 which was glorious.
B- 2 eggs, cinnamon raisin bread, coffee with creamer and collagen peptides
L- maybe a crunch wrap? That sounds pretty good. I may do a chicken burger with fig butter and arugula. I don’t have goat cheese which would make it perfect, but I may see what cheese I do have
S- built bar
D- Probably pizza? We will all be tired and hot from the softball game. Something easy at home. And maybe a beer.

I usually set it to "here now" or filter by tags because it is usually only me or a few other people. Also, there are definitely varying calibrations on people's bikes. My sister and I did a live ride together on her birthday and her final output was about 70 more than mine. I was working my ass off and we're probably fairly comparable with our physical fitness so I feel like something was definitely off there.

jorkzy I'm usually toward the bottom of every ride I do. I was dead last the other day. I alternate between hiding the LB and just leaving it.

Last night was my first leaderboard experience since orange theory (which I haven't done in ages) and seeing myself at the bottom was not awesome. I try to remind myself that I got on the bike and that in and of itself is a win.

It’s supposed to motivating but I find it stressful instead so it goes away. Don’t feel bad about hiding it if it isn’t working for you.

I see you bought from Amazon, but I think they sell singles of the plainer flavors at places like GNC. I usually buy direct from their website though. They have a trial pack for new users at a discounted price and I almost always can find a digital coupon.
