Re: the leaderboard. Another option is to change it so it says “only me” and then you’re competing against yourself. That way you still have the motivation of a PR and not the stress of 10k other riders. Also, remember that all the bikes are calibrated differently AND lots of people game the system by doing super high resistance or whatever. Literally the only thing that matters is your own past performance (and even then only if you feel like attempting a PR!).

I wish I liked Built bars bc the macros are excellent, but I just can’t do it. I actually loved them at first and ate my entire mixed box and then I just couldn’t do it anymore they tasted too fake to me and the texture started to freak me out.
I just tried a new bar, Healthy Eating on the Go, and love them. If anyone wants a bar option that’s similar to Perfect bars, but with lower calories, they’re really good (to me). They have the texture of a Perfect bar and kind of remind me of homemade protein balls. All sorts of flavors and I’ve like them all.

Are you ordering the Built bars online? I really want to try them. Looking at their website I can't see a quick link to see where they're sold in stores but maybe they really aren't. I see you bought from Amazon, but I think they sell singles of the plainer flavors at places like GNC. I usually buy direct from their website though. They have a trial pack for new users at a discounted price and I almost always can find a digital coupon. Ok thanks!

Phew, DS napped well and I got a stack done. 10 minute Ben climb ride (got a PR), 10 minute Kendall arms, 30 minute Cody lower body boot camp. I’m going to be fucking sore.

I didn’t work out yesterday, but I ate well and got some stuff done around the house which was nice. DS is currently napping on me, but when he wakes up, I will try for a ride and some strength. He hasn’t wanted to be put down really at all for naps in the bassinet. I may start using the crib, but H has been dragging his feet about changing it back from a toddler bed. Anyway, today should be pretty good. DD1’s softball game isn’t until the afternoon, and I’m worried it will be hot for DS, but at least it gave me time to sleep this morning. H took him out of the room until almost 8 which was glorious. B- 2 eggs, cinnamon raisin bread, coffee with creamer and collagen peptides L- maybe a crunch wrap? That sounds pretty good. I may do a chicken burger with fig butter and arugula. I don’t have goat cheese which would make it perfect, but I may see what cheese I do have S- built bar D- Probably pizza? We will all be tired and hot from the softball game. Something easy at home. And maybe a beer. Are you ordering the Built bars online? I really want to try them. Looking at their website I can't see a quick link to see where they're sold in stores but maybe they really aren't. Yes, online!

I saw them on Amazon so I just ordered an 18ct mix pack. Hopefully I like them lol. thatgolfbThe mix pack was worth it to me to figure out which ones I liked! My faves are the double chocolate, peanut butter brownie, and almond coconut.

Hello and happy Sunday! I’m sore from a lower body + arms workout I did yesterday, so today’s workout was just a long dog walk.
Good luck to anyone running races today! So exciting!
B- Greek yogurt, banana L- cauliflower crust pepperoni pizza (I love the ones from Aldi), Caesar salad D- cheeseburger, tots

I am so snacky today. B: banana and coffee with milk and Splenda S: good to go keto soft snack bar L: single svg rice cakes, single svg Paleo protein grain thing, single svg lentil crisps, single svg wafer cookie pack S: banana, svg of hot sauce cheese puffs, 3 Target pumpkin cheesecake cookies. So more than a snack 😅
D: good culture single cottage cheese, 5 pb filled pretzels
MH's work has been sending them snack boxes with assorted single serving snacky things. I've been tossing some of them in my lunch box so that's what's up with random items as my work lunch.
E: 15 minutes elliptical

Thank you, friends, for all the support. I had a completely miserable race and contemplated tapping out and taking a DNF multiple times, but H was texting me pictures and videos of the kids cheering me on and I just couldn't not finish. I don't know, my girls knew I was slogging it out and they wanted to see me finish. So I powered through, but my gosh, that's the worst I've ever felt during a marathon. The steady rain and headwinds didn't help. H and MIL and the kids were waiting for me. I saw H holding up DD1 a couple hundred feet from the finish line and I went to hug her and he tossed her over the corral gate. So and she and I crossed the finish hand in hand and I loved it. The announcer even commented on her and all the photographers immediately singled us out, so we should get some cute photos back. Overall, that race is fantastic. Highly recommend it. But the weather and my body cost me a lot of time. My finish time was 5:30:54, a solid 30 minutes slower than I had hoped for. Oh well. I've turned my workout alarm off for the next three days. I earned it.

Awesome job, cnf! I'm so glad you that you were able to push through and finish; that's such a good feeling when the DNF has tempted you throughout the race. That's a sweet medal, too! Enjoy your well earned rest days. Relaaaaaax.

I saw a TikTok (so I know it’s 100% true facts I’m saying here) where a guy did the math on some of the Peloton leaders on the board. Basically it was humanly impossible to get first place. I wish I remember the statistics!

I wish I remember the statistics! This is 100% true for the tread. I remember reading about an ultra runner who made it his mission to get as many 1st place finishes as possible and he was pissed because so many people were cheating the system. Some of the first place people were running a 5 minute mile at a 15% incline for the entire class, which is literally not possible lol. I'm pretty positive I'm going to lose both my pinky toenails, and maybe one big toenail. Twenty six plus miles in soggy shoes just decimated my feet.

Congrats cnf, you finished! That's an incredible accomplishment. I'm sorry that the conditions weren't better and it wasn't what you'd hoped for, but I hope the feeling of crossing the finish line with your daughter outweighs any of the lower points in the race for you.
