This is interesting - I got my 2nd shot on April 7 and got my period this Tuesday, about 5 days early, and it has been super heavy which is not normal for me. I had never thought of a correlation. I got my first shot on 4/7 and was about a week until my period was due, ever since, I haven’t still got my period and I have been crampy to what makes it feel like I’m going through ovulation like every three days, cramp, bloat, ovary pinch, rinse and repeat. I get my second soon and I hope this all clears up. I’ve been seeing tons of people speak to their experiences with menstrual changes but they (cdc) have said no correlation but I saw it as a potential side effect in the list from Pfizer, although I forget exactly where I saw it. I was looking for a different side effect and happened upon this.

Second Moderna done about an hour ago. I can't do the alternate Tylenol/Advil thing so we'll see what happens. I always drink quite a bit of water during the day so hopefully that will help.

Anyone else have basically post-2nd dose depression? Like, I've been incredibly sensitive and sort of low since getting my shot on Tuesday. It sounds like quite a few of my female friends have felt the same.

Anecdotally it seems for several people it amplifies mental health symptoms.

Got my 2nd Pfizer shot on Friday. I took 6,000 IUI of vit-D the day before, the day of and the following day. Made sure to move my arm and engage the muscles a lot on Friday. I had 0 side effects. Not even pain on my arm on Saturday morning.

I posted about it here a while back and there were some other anecdotes about heightened anxiety.

Out of the pool of people I've talk to IRL, it seems to only be affecting women. Which is incredibly annoying to me.

I’m fully vaccinated today!
I still have nerve pain in the arm I got the injections in, but I’m so glad I’m vaccinated. Absolutely worth it.

I hope you feel better soon. These side effects are so bizarre and of course impact women more

I’m just now starting to feel like I’m headed towards my “normal” baseline for depression again. I’m not sure if it’s definitely tied to the vaccine, but it’s possible.

I'm like 28 hours post 2nd pfizer and I have had no side effects this time except for a really sore arm. My arm didn't hurt at all last time, but I had a few side effects. This time my arm is killing me, but no other side effects. Interesting lol. 🤞 it stays this way

The anxiety is so interesting to me, i had my first does on Wednesday last week and was a mess of emotions and anxiety on Thursday and Friday - I chalked it up to being overwhelmed with alot of life things right now, but now i wonder if there is a correlation. I still feel anxious now, but it is less.

My mom got her second shot (Pfizer) on a Friday, and said the following Sunday she felt just suddenly so very sad and hopeless for most of the day. By Monday she was feeling like herself again.
I did not notice any mood changes after either shot, too add to the list of anecdotes I guess.

I do think my anxiety is ramped up but I'm also due for my period which does that to me too. Though now I wonder. I did not have any other symptoms.

I got my 2nd Pfizer today. So far, only mild pain where the shot was and really sleepy. It’s only been ~9 hours so we will see.

My H had his second Pfizer shot yesterday and he’s progressively gone down hill since he woke up today. He’s got a pretty bad headache right now.

She has a special needs son, so for her to get a babysitter is a HUGE deal and I know she's really looking forward to this. I need all of the no side effects anecdotes please.

I ended up with another massive anxiety spike from the second dose, but other than that, just a headache, some joint pain, and fatigue. No fever or chills, or nausea. Thankful for that.

Following up to say, I went to bed early, woke up around 2 am, felt okay and couldn’t get back to sleep until around 4. I feel okay this morning. My arm is sore but I don’t feel as tired as I did yesterday. Still sluggish though. I’m currently about 26 hours post shot.

I'm not sure if this is all HyVee stores or just those in Iowa but they announced today that they are accepting walk-in covid vaccines, no appointment necessary.

I had my 2nd shot on Monday morning. My only side effects have been a sore arm and feeling a bit more tired yesterday than normal.

I got my first Pfizer earlier this month and had zero side effects. My arm wasn't even sore unless I raised it way above my head.
I got my second shot on Sunday at noon. Monday from about 10am-3pm i felt tired and my body felt a bit heavy, but then by 4 I was back to normal. And that was it. And honestly, I had planned to feel like crap on Monday so I had nothing scheduled to do and I think if we had been busy and out and about I wouldn't have even noticed the tiredness.
