MH convinced me to do a 30 minute hamstring yoga flow with him. Now I’m using the massage gun head to toe. Wild Saturday night.

Morning. My body feels pretty good this morning despite staying up late snacking and drinking hard cider last night. 30 minute Lizzo run with Jess Sims (3.25 miles) 20 minute postnatal yoga with Kristin Food should be decent, but I don't expect it'll be perfect by any means. Ooh I might do the Lizzo run tomorrow, that sounds perfect.

I got on the Peloton right away this morning for a 30 min arms and intervals ride and then a 5 minute cool down. Then H and I cleaned and reorganized some stuff while the boys played, so I had an active morning. My parents took the boys overnight so we had a pretty indulgent takeout dinner and dessert. Normally I would have a drink on these nights, but I've been so bloated lately and my body always blows up and holds onto extra pounds for a week so I skipped it.
I officially signed up for my 5K on Valentine's day and I'm hoping H and I can sit down by the end of the weekend to talk about which date works best for my half so that I can start making a training plan. Since the races are in NYC and we don't want to take the boys due to Covid, H will either have to stay with them or we'll need someone to watch them so he can travel with me (which is my preference). So we need to sort it out and get our parents on board.

I did that Frank's vineyard race ride this morning and went all out. I came in 4/260 women and I was excited. Big PR too so that was exciting. Then we took the kids skating down the river which was fun too. Lemony beans and shrimp with toast for supper and damn, it was good! Damn!! Way to go, lady!!! 🎉

Thanks for the good thoughts ladies. I ran ten miles with 5 at marathon pace so about 8:30 currently. Then I did some full body lifting and core. It was sunny here today so that helped! CestLaVie nice work!

I decided to squeeze in a few more classes after the kids went to bed so I did 10 min core with Matty, 10 min full body stretch with Matty, and 5 min body scan meditation with Aditi.
Also, FFSC, I was thinking about how much I wish they’d do a Tom Morello class and ended up having a steamy dream about him. 😂 He does have an extensive catalog though!

The other day I had a steamy dream about Ben Alldis. I woke up and was like WTF, lol.

Morning.
I ate a lot of pizza and drank a lot of wine last night. Oof, I look and feel very puffy today.
20 minute year of yes run with Adrian (2.5 miles) Flash 15 with Jess Sims 10 minute yoga flow with Anna
Today will be back on track with food and a butt load of hydrating. Going to preprep all my breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for the week today too.
I have a ride, run, and yoga stacked for tomorrow already too.Time to get back at it.

Good morning. I did a 1 mile warm up run and then attempted the 20 minute live run with Adrian. My WIFI would not cooperate so I only saw about 1/4 of the actual class and instead just made up my own intervals. 🤷🏼♀️ Anyway, I ended up with 3.5 miles so I’m calling that good for the day.

Good Morning!
The crazy weather roller coaster has gotten to me and my sinuses have been killing me. The last two days have been awful and I just felt dizzy and off balance. Today I am finally feeling better so I took an easy 30 minute 90's rock ride with Ben. I didn't let me heart rate get up over 160 and just took it very easy. Felt good to get moving again. Hopefully I continue to feel good and can avoid a trip to the doctor.

Hello! I finally closed all of my rings yesterday after being “off” since Tuesday... we ordered pizza last night but I just had 1 piece plus a salad. My weight is actually okay today- just a tiny bit to go so hopefully I hit my goal for the month tomorrow morning. I’ll be really good today haha.
MH thinks he fixed the treadmill so I’m going to hop on there for a run soon. Food is all planned out for the week.
B- ? Not really hungry yet- maybe something small after my run L- leftover Greek salad with chicken S- going to cut up a bunch of veggies for the week D- spicy maple chicken with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans (hello fresh that we never made the other night)

abs, I mostly take his stretches so I can only imagine him saying weird things like “this position is the money” and such. 🤣🤣 pootsen We had that one on Thursday! I really liked the chicken but I think mashed isn’t my favorite way to have sweet potatoes. My husband thought everything was 10/10 though.

I did a 20 min walk and 10 mins of arm toning. That completes my goal of working out every day in January.

DD wanted to run on the track today, so I brought her there. We did one mile together, and then I did another 20 minutes if intervals, 60 seconds hard, 60 seconds jogging.
Bracing for the snowstorm, so it was good to get in a run, even though it was cold!
I’m trying to figure out dinners for tonight and tomorrow night. Definitely needs to be cozy!

I did a 30 min Peloton run this morning. I tried to wait till it had warmed up a little bit, but needed to go before it got too late, so it was 8° outside. My body felt really good, but breathing was tricky, especially with interval work. I did some walking to regulate my breath, but overall I did really well and had a decent time for me for 3 miles. That also concludes my goal of closing all of my rings every day in January!
I also spoke to my parents and they’re able to take the boys in early June, so that’s when I will sign up for the half marathon! I’m glad because it gives me four months to train, so I should be super prepared, but I am hoping that it’s not too hot at that point that it’s awful with the mask. The masks I ordered should arrive this week, so I’ll be able to start training with those also.

We are right on the cusp up here of either a major storm or a couple inches. I feel like that’s how every predicted storm goes upstate, but I am curious to see how much we really get.

Today I did a 30 min Power Zone with Olivia followed by a 10 min cool down with Jess. It felt really good and I might do the FTP test again in a couple weeks because I feel like I’m always at the high end of the zones for 3 and 4.

budders, did you order running-specific masks? I’ve been considering a UA mask, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet bc they’re like $30. But warm weather is around the corner and the cotton isn’t going to be bearable to much longer.

Just popping in to ask if anyone has a rec for winter running shoes? (More of a trail-type shoe with some grip?)
I’d like to do more outdoor winter running. I have been running in Mizuno Wave Inspire since I started running in 2009, and love them, but the current models have mesh uppers that get wet and cold too easily. The trails that I run around here aren’t usually cleared of snow, so I’m worried about slipping.
Well, I wouldn’t *like* to do more winter running, but I know it’d be good for me! So tired of the treadmill.
I definitely need something with some cushion and stability like the Mizunos.

A couple of days ago they were saying 6 inches in the city, and I was very 🤷♀️but then I was listening to the radio this morning and they said we should expect 14-19 inches plus intense wind gusts. I would not mind if they were wrong and it’s a bust!

I haven’t had wheat or rice flour all January, but with the forecast, I decided that tomorrow will call for some indulgence. Most of the groceries here sell amazing fresh pierogi in the refrigerator section, so I got a package of mushroom sauerkraut and a package of potato onion. I’m going to cook them with butter and seitan bacon and some cabbage I have from my CSA. It should be a really easy winter meal.

It stays put really well and hasn't been too hot in warm weather.

10 min warmup run w/ JS 30 min breakthrough run w/ OA for 3.7 miles 10 min core w/ MM 5 min hip stretch w/ BG 10 min climb ride w/ EL
I enjoyed the breakthrough run! I was hesitant because Olivia isn't my favorite but it was fun and refreshing.
My marathon plan starts tomorrow, and I'm excted to go through the Feb HardCORE on the Floor calendar and plan out my week.

Spin and strength done. Food is still not awesome. jorkzy I’m not strictly vegetarian but we usually skip meat. Right now I usually have granola bars or pop tarts because I love sweets. I usually have veggies, almonds, and Greek yogurt as my lunch but maybe I need to shift things around.
