I’m going here now. I was kicking ass last year for like 3 months, was on weight watchers and lost 17lbs. Then my kid started kindergarten and it was just too much so I gave up. Gained all the weight back plus more. I’m at My heaviest weight not pregnant and my goal is to lose 30 lbs. I rejoined weight watchers and am hoping for the best. Hoping to stay in this thread and keep my motivation!

Good morning and happy new slate!! I am excited to start again but I never really stopped. I am just ready for new goals. I have surgery scheduled for my hernias on 1/21 so I want to really be my fittest for an easier recovery. 6 weeks of no running, it's kind of scary to think about. 2021's goal / motto for me is trim the fat. literally and figuratively. Exercise today was 3 miles with RK 20 min walk+run Followed up with 20 mins of running to my own music. Followed with 10 mins shoulders/back toning with hannah and 10 mins core with cody. I am at 97 runs. Have not seen any runs that I want to jump on live yet, so I am trying not to accidently do my century as a digital. lol Food: B: egg over easy, toast, blueberries, veggie sausage patty (that were disgusting). L: TBD D: TBD We are going to a new hotel for a night. Margaritaville. I plan on making healthy choices but enjoy myself. (thanks jorkzy)

Happy New Year y'all!
One of my resolutions last year was to find a new workout routine that I loved. Going to the gym, getting on the elliptical, and then doing the same weight routine was getting old and I was making excuses to not do it. In that way 2020 was a good thing for me. I'm so glad I took a chance on my bike and I really do love exercise again! So from that perspective I did meet my goal last year.
This year my health goals are to drink more water and incorporate more strength. I also want to do at least 200 rides on my bike.
Thank you all for being here! You guys were a definite bright spot in 2020 and I am so grateful for all the support!

Happy New Year!
I had all kinds of racing PR goals for 2020, but then one by one, saw nearly all my races cancelled. However, I did break 1:55 in a virtual half, and I did run over 1000 miles for the year, so those are wins! I also got a Sunny, and that plus the peloton app has helped me to rediscover my love for spinning. I’m excited to have that as a regular cross-training element this year.
For 2021, I hope to have the opportunity to smash some racing PR’s especially in the half and full marathon distances. I’m hoping I get to do NYC this year, but if not, I may try to do a charity entry for another big marathon.
I turn 40 in June, and I want to be my strongest, fittest self as I enter a new decade.
I’m kicking things off this month with a dry January, no processed sugar or white flour, and a goal of hitting 100 miles for the month, while not ignoring cross training and strength training. I actually love the tight hug of some restrictions, and I look forward to the heightened sense of taste, and the extra energy that comes with it.

Happy new year!! 🎊
I looked back at my 2020 goals and they were to reach 200 peloton rides, focus on nutrition, and develop a balanced workout regimen. For the first time in my life, I crushed my goals! I truly feel the fittest I’ve ever been and finally broke free from a mindset that exercise is only for weight loss.
In 2020 I:
-did over 400 peloton rides!! Including reaching my century ride and a number of PRs along the way. -achieved a 52 week streak on the bike -discovered Madeline moves and developed a deep love for strength training -completed a tighter together challenge -overcame a sprained ankle through a mix of PT and massage therapy -didn’t lose a single pound, but didn’t gain weight either. But saw a change in my body composition and the way my clothes look and feel
In 2021 I want to:
-get close to 1000 peloton rides -achieve a 30day peloton spinning streak -focus on core strength -complete the January tighter together challenge -complete a dry January and see how I feel -continue to focus on strength, getting outside as much as possible, and enjoying my workouts
Let’s make this a great year ladies!!!

Happy new year!
This month I'd like to focus on strengthening my back. I feel like back exercises are kind of an afterthought in many workouts and my posture is poor, so I'm going to be intentional this month about true work on my whole core for general health and wellness.

I'm sure I had all kinds of random numbers in mind for 2020. They were probably either undershooting or too lofty.
2021 will be staying with coach and continuing to move forward. I am way more consistent with my heavy numbers, and have better control with them.
And I could finally renew my membership this morning and add in the Masters (40+) division.

Happy New Year Ladies. I am still trying to figure out my goals for the year but looking forward to another healthy year with you. Of course, I would like the scale to stay steady or go down vs up but I also need to get back to focusing on exercise and wellness vs a number on a scale. I am trying to figure out that that looks like in a year that will be filled with lots of transitions. Wishing you all health, fitness, and happiness in 2021.

Happy New Year!
2020 was the first year I can truly say I consistently worked out. I found a love for strength training and enjoyed all the gains made. I took my weight and measurements this morning and I am exactly where I was this time last year. However my clothes fit differently and I have learned so many lessons from you wonderful ladies and tried to adjust my mindset as to what success means.
Goals for 2021 -hopefully complete my very short first triathlon -continue strength training with a focus on core -yoga once a week -run a 5k in under 30 minutes by my 40th birthday at the end of August -lose 20lbs by my 40th

Happy New Year! Overall 2020 was pretty good for exercise. Food not so much. I've gained 10lbs since June or so. But I needed to gain weight and I'm now at a normal weight for my height. But I'm also at a place where I don't really want to gain more.
January goals are keeping up the exercise, but not a specific number for the month. At least 3x a week. And after today, no alcohol until February.

Happy New Year!
2020: While I did lose some abilities, I didn’t lose anything that is completely life altering. So that’s better than some years. I started focusing on meditation and self care, because those are things that I can control - and that has been very good for me. A couple of biopsies towards the end of the year threw me into a major flare that I’m still not completely out of, but I’m starting to recover, and I’m not seeing any red flags that make me think it’s permanent.
2021: I want to focus on meditation, self care, foam rolling/trigger point therapy, and sleep. I typically do physical therapy 6 days a week and take a rest day on day 7, and I don’t plan on changing that. I need to take another look at my diet eventually, but probably not until late spring or this summer - I’m relatively stable now, I’m at a good weight, and anytime I make changes I end up flaring. But eventually I do need to take another look at it.
Today: I slept almost 12 hours last night and meditated this morning. I’m planning on journaling or some type of craft this afternoon. I’ll do physical therapy tonight.

I think Pilates in general offers the same benefits (when I was healthy enough, I primarily did reformer classes, but I did some mat based Pilates) but I don’t know that it’s something you can easily do at home without someone watching and making sure you’re activating the right muscles.

Happy New Year!
I found out I was pregnant on Christmas day in 2019 so I went into 2020 with very few goals other than don't gain a million pounds, stick with working out and run 650 miles, and have a healthy baby.
I gained too much weight despite my best efforts. I did run much further into my pregnancy than I usually make it and I had a healthy baby. And a successful VBA2C! And I ran 830.23 miles, so I crushed that too.
This year I'm shooting for 850 miles of running because I'm going to set my bike up and start getting some cycling miles in. I also plan to drop the other 20lbs of baby weight I'm still lugging around. It's driving me crazy.
I did squeak in one race before the world shut down last year; a Disney half marathon. Assuming racing is back on by fall I plan to do a fall marathon. I want to go 3/3 on postpartum marathons.
Today I did Olivia's 30 minute Calvin Harris run for 3.25 miles. Took it easy since I'm a covid ticking time bomb still. Followed it up with a quick 10 minute lower body yoga with Chelsea.

Happy New Year!
I doubt I had any real goals going into 2020. I did discover the Peloton app around August, which led to me adding in regular yoga and strength training into my running routine for the first time ever, so I’m pretty proud of that. Running regularly using Peloton instructors has also markedly improved my running speed and endurance, which I’m excited to continue into the new year.
I’m currently finishing week 7 of the Peloton marathon training course (scaled down for a half), so my goal is to run that race in March (probably virtually but they may reschedule a live race later in the year so we’ll see). Always and forever goals are to drink more water and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

Happy New Year, friends!
I had no goals in 2020. I was only permitted to start running again after my heart procedure on January 1 and by the time I was up to a reasonable mileage again, it was pandemic time. But I’m proud that I was able to consistently workout throughout the year, despite pretty much zero kid free time. And I’m very happy that I found boot camps and discovered I do not in fact hate strength work!
I don’t have any broad 2021 goals but I’m currently signed up for a September half and the Philly marathon in November. So fingers crossed I can do those. For January, I’m going to do a run streak and I signed up for a 90 mile virtual challenge and I’d like to complete that.
I started the year off with a 30 minute 2010s run with Andy. With warm up, I got 3.5 miles.

My only real goal for 2020 was to run a marathon so that was obviously pushed back. I focused instead on being more diligent with cross training, strength training, and recovery. Without my work commute and school drop off/pick ups I have had so much extra time each day, and that has been super helpful for getting into better routines and not skimping on the "extra" stuff besides running. Thanks for something, 2020.
For 2021 I want to PR on the half marathon and also run my first marathon. Hopefully my race calendar pans out.

I started the new year off with a full body workout.
30min calvin Harris ride with Ben (so good!) 10min cool down with Ben 5min stretch with Ben 10min arms with Cody W3D2 of crush your core
I have pork and sauerkraut going in the crockpot for dinner tonight. I love it so much, but I saved some pork to roast plain bc the fam won’t eat sauerkraut or anything that’s touched it 😝

I'm here. I lost about 5 lbs at the beginning of quarantine them gained it back plus 5 more. My weight goal is to lose only like 6lbs, but my diet has been a mess. I'm going to try intermittent fasting to try to put some boundaries on my late night eating. Exercise has been good and I'm happy on that front.

Happy new year ladies. We are still on our little get away to our cabin. So, MH and decided to enjoy the weekend and settle into our new goals on Sunday.
We are having a dry January starting on the third. I would like to focus more on body composition instead of weight loss. I would like to run a 5K in under 20 minutes. I want to continue lifting weights. I need to concentrate on drinking more water.
These seem pretty attainable for the year.

I love reading everyone's goals for the year!
I don't think I set anything specific for 2020 but was really hitting my stride with being in peak shape early in the year. That obviously all came tumbling down with the pandemic. I don't think I found my true groove until the end of the year when I started to have some routine and began making plans. I'm really happy with the consistency and structure I managed the last couple of months and hoping I can move that into the new year.
I've set myself up for success by creating a loose structure for every week and will plan out the week with specifics every Sunday. I need to focus on making easy days easy and I really struggle with that. Other areas of focus will be overall strength, flexibility/stretching, and really working on my strengthening my core back up.

My one goal for 2020 was to run 1000 miles. I think I hit around 830, which I’m not mad about because my knee started acting like an asshole. I also focused more on strength since about September.
This year I’m not focusing on yearly goals, but instead monthly goals.
This month I will: Run 15 miles a week Do 80 minutes of strength a week Bike for 20 minutes a day No sugary treats and sweets Stop snoring
Seriously on the last one though. I’ve gained about 15-20 pounds since quarantine began and in the last few weeks I’ve started snoring. Clearly not an indicator of good health. Anyway, I want to lose whatever weight that made it so I started snoring.

Happy New Year! I don’t think I’m going to set any year-long fitness goals for 2021, but will go month by month and strive for continuous progress. This month I am doing a dry January and will limit sweets to one small serving a day. I would also like to close my Apple Watch rings 6/7 days a week. I need to work on my core strength so will make that a priority as well. My weight loss goal for this month is 5 lb.
B- Starbucks egg bites, scone, cold brew coffee L/D- we’re doing a 3pm dinner at my parents house- ham, cheesy potatoes, brussel sprouts, cheesecake

I am basically starting 2021, exactly where I started 2019 and 2020. I’m not happy, but it could be much worse considering the shit show that was last year.
I used to do OTF 4-5 times a week, but haven’t been since March and I don’t see myself returning until I’m vaccinated. I got a Peloton bike in June and have been working out pretty consistently since then. But my diet has been anything but consistent. I need to lose 10 pounds, I’d like to lose 20.
This year my goals are to incorporate more running workouts. Hopefully there will be formal races at some point this year. I’m still working at a sub 30 5k. I’d also like to train for a fall half.
Happy 2021!
