❤️ When I am in a depression period I always have a little voice that says “alright bitch be sad and dopey but have you tried sun on your face?” And it does help a little 🙃 Girl my mom is one of those peoples. Whenever I’m down my mom says “go stand outside in the sun and let the sun burn away your sads” honest to goodness it works. The sun provides so much healing. Lol have you seen that mom meme where the girl says I’m sad and the mom says go sit on the steps and eat a banana

I was 23 when we got married and 26 when we had our first living baby. That seems so stupid young now. I always tell the boys that they have to be 35 to get married and have kids, but DS1 finally did the math this year on my 35th birthday.

I saw this recently and it made me laugh and I sent it to everyone I know. Because it is me every time.

I can't stand Marie Kondo. I found her book BS and her show made me like her less. I didn't think that was Possible.

My mom’s remedy for literally all problems in life is drinking a glass of water. Like I could have a gunshot wound and she would asked me if I have had enough water to drink. Thats my grandma and Vaseline. Oh, put some Vaseline on it.

I don’t do it with my kids as much because they are still small enough that I’m mostly aware of how much water they’ve had, but anytime an adult complains about not feeling well to me I’m like, how much water have you had today? 😆

I'm on page 3 of 29 and will never make it to the end. But the non-native English speakers I know do not use a translate program unless they forget how to say a specific word and then they'd just look up that word. They aren't on this forum (that I know of!) but in work and social settings are able to text/social media with no problem other than forgetting an occasional word once in awhile. I am still confused about that one.

I was very young when I got married (25) and had a terrible model. I was not great at being married. I have grown a lot in 13 years and think I’m a great partner, but it’s a journey.* *is this the appropriate use of journey? We were 22, but we were so broke there was no way to do separate and pay rent, lol. Same. I was working 2 jobs because shortly after we got married H's hours got cut and then mine did too. We were meal planning around $2/person/meal, no cell phones, no cable/satellite and all sorts of fun stuff like that just to make ends meet.

DS rolls his eyes so hard. I say the whole thing too “well when’s the last time you had water? Do you want water? You should have water! You know, water is really important and you need to make sure you’re drinking enough.” I’m a joy

I see now that marrying as a newly 23 year old was a poor choice. I think I was a rather mature one even. For many many reasons, my marriage at 31 is much more stable, reciprocal and just...better.
It’s certainly not all marriages but yeah I wouldn’t advise it even as someone who did it.

We married at 22 during our senior year of college before DH started law school. We didn’t have DD and DS until we were 28. We are going to highly encourage our kids to wait until they are older. We were very broke for quite a while and I had to work shit jobs while DH was in law school. He went to law school in a tiny town and I worked in a warehouse and as a secretary because literally nowhere else was hiring.

Married at 24, I hope my kids wait until 30. Almost all my friends did, even the ones who got together when I DH and I did. It wasn’t a mistake, but I feel like that is dumb luck as much as anything else. No kids until 32, that was definitely the right choice for us.

I held my classes outside yesterday. The students could spread out and be more than 6 feet apart. I could take off my mask. There was the perfect breeze. It was amazing what it did for my mental health. I could see their faces. One of them joked that he finally knows what I look like. They talked and laughed. Y’all. High school has been so quiet. They. Will. Not. Talk. Yesterday was so refreshing. One writing student asked if we can do it every Friday. Yes. Yes we can.

Wait, isn’t an autobiography a memoir and a biography what someone writes about you because “auto” means “self?”
