Rusty Red , love yourself and do Peloton rides. I'm lazy, OK?!?!?! LOL I like when the bike does the work for me. Other than the cadence, of course.

I'm also already paying for iFit and BoD, not sure I can swing another membership after the trial with the monthly payment for the bike. Maybe, though.

If you try and like peloton you can always drop BOD for a bit and do new stuff knowing you can shuffle back and forth from programs as much and frequently as you want.

willow I did the 2000's ride you suggested and loved it. I laughed! Today I have bootcamp outside at lunch and that is it because DS has a game tonight. For breakfast after my doc appt I treated myself and had a cinnamon crunch bagel from panera. Was... not at all planned. I had oatmeal. but wanted the bagel. L: blackened chicken salad D: protein shake I am going to say this here but not make a big deal about it elsewhere because I am very apprehensive... but after two good scans so far I think I need to acknowledge the fact that I am in fact, knocked up. LOL. So far, just horrible nausea and very fatigued so my fitness has not been near where it was, but I am keeping up and giving effort everyday. It helps exponentially with making me feel better. Since I am being monitored very closely by my RE's with my past history, I feel good about continuing my level of work from before, so far everything looks good. I have not gained any weight yet but I am highly bloated with all the meds I am on so some stuff has been mildly uncomfortable (mainly burpees and the like). I know we had some pregnancy workout gurus in here, so if you have any tips send them my way!
ETA: I am still really early but we knew since damn near conception so it feels like I have known forever!

3rd class from the beginning of outdoor is wilpers 5k prep 6.20.18 and it was just what i needed. I held a pace on 2 min intervals that i'd like to run during real races, so that felt really good. You know what else felt really good, the freaking 65° weather! Woo hoo! It is gorgeous so far. Only hitting upper 70's as well. I am very excited. Food: Banana / hard boiled egg Jimmy Johns sub, apples with peanut butter Protein Shake, plum Stuffed chicken with peas and french fries. This weather is to.die.for.
I just want to frolic!

Congrats donnameagle! As far as workouts- just listen to your body (and your doctor). With one of my friends- she was restricted for a lot of her early pregnancy, so we just walked for however long she was comfortable for. Really the biggest things that come into play for most women are joints being different because of hormones (especially in 3rd tri) and a moving center of balance. If you are doing lifting where you were bracing significantly, that needs to adjust.

Can you do a trial on the Peloton app? You know my feelings on all thing iFit. I thought about it, but I'm already paying for iFit anyway for my treadmill programming, so it seemed worthwhile to use the bike programming as well. Only reason I like it is their programs control the settings for me. It looks like the Peloton app has a lot of options. Something to look at when those subscriptions are getting close to done.

I did a 45 minute boot camp with Andy. The last half was tough - a long section of sprints, followed immediately by legs on the floor. I was shaking by the end of it!

Really the biggest things that come into play for most women are joints being different because of hormones (especially in 3rd tri) and a moving center of balance. If you are doing lifting where you were bracing significantly, that needs to adjust. Clean and press's are gone for sure. In my boot camps I have just gone down a little in weights, and I'm not lifting a ton over head. I modify as needed. The jumping really didn't feel great (burpees and tuck jumps, etc) but that may be just that my balance is off. I won't go against what my doctor has said ever, for now she says to keep on keeping on but I am adjusting some for sure. It is a delicate balance because it took us so damn long to get to this point, but my health is important too so I gotta sweat and move until someone definitively tells me not to!

Congratulations donnameagle! I definitely found workouts bought me a few of relief from the nausea in my first trimester. No matter how bad I felt when I started, I'd feel great by the end and for a while afterwards. Hopefully that continues for you too!

congrats donnameagle!! I'm down 2.2lb, hoping to keep the train moving. I also haven't worked out in almost a week so it's probably just water but I needed a "win." Tacos for dinner tonight, with some weird sides, I have to cook and/or freeze beans and broccoli from the garden so probably I'll throw some chili powder and cumin on those. I canned tomatoes yesterday instead of working out but in the spirit of being nicer to myself it's basically been chaos in different forms since hybrid school has started. Most likely I'll get to it tonight.

Hahah so great. I also love his "I love me" with Meghan Trainor. My kids sing it in the morning while they get ready - also a great running song!

donnameagle OMG yay!! I love that you are balancing your desire to work out with what your baby and body need. Swam with the family last night, and walked this morning. Hopefully will have a work break that allows me to do yoga this afternoon, and swim again today, too. I keep planning on eating leftovers, and my kids (6 and 2) are eating EVERYTHING! No leftovers from my last 2 cooked meals, so I guess we're cooking again tonight, too.

Congratulations donnameagle !!! Exciting news I did Cody’s 45 Min Bootcamp yesterday and really enjoyed it. I like the split time between the bike and weights and was really wiped out. I also did his 45 min pop ride the day before. I’m liking doing longer classes and now saw that they are going to do 45 min full body workouts. I’m going to try to mix some of those in as well I have hit a milestone today. I have lost 20 lbs in 3 months using Peloton and NOOM. That was my initial goal and now I’m going to go for just another 5-6 lbs but my primary goal now is to just keep up with my workout routines. During Covid i was really struggling in a mental place and this has kept me from spiraling. I also realize how much better I feel both physically and emotionally. I just have to remember these feelings when i start slipping.

I haven’t done a jump switch lunge in a minute. I’m pretty sure I could have woke my sleeping kids 2 floors above me with the f bombs.

And I know that I’m in the minority, but I actually don’t mind lunges, but at the end of an already hard workout like that? DYING.
