3rd class from the beginning of outdoor is wilpers 5k prep 6.20.18 and it was just what i needed. I held a pace on 2 min intervals that i'd like to run during real races, so that felt really good. You know what else felt really good, the freaking 65° weather! Woo hoo! It is gorgeous so far. Only hitting upper 70's as well. I am very excited.
Food: Banana / hard boiled egg Jimmy Johns sub, apples with peanut butter Protein Shake, plum Stuffed chicken with peas and french fries.

Happy hump day, all. How is it only Wednesday, though? This week is dragging for me.
I did an early workout this morning so I could shower and get ready to drop DS off at K. I did the 20min Cody ride you have all been talking about and then a 15min groove ride. Both were great and had the positive energy I needed after reading about last night's debate.

OK, trying to get back into this so today is the day!

Food: B: banana, egg whites, turkey sausage L: Coconut yogurt, apple, green salad S: RX bar/protein shake D:Ground turkey; dairy free shredded "cheese", broccoli S:Pineapple/bluberries

Good morning!
I did a 20 minute arms and shoulders workout with Chase. My arms are toast.
No time to run today.

I just hope you find an amazing person who can help you through some of the tough things you post about from time to time. Also, hopefully you'll also end up loving the bike (I didn't like mine at first either).

Like by next Friday you will have found 3 places to contact and send an initial inquiry. By the following Wednesday follow up if no response. A week from that Wednesday make your pick and start there. And that gives you info on a couple back up people if the first one isn't a good match.

In slightly smaller decision making, I still can't decide if I want to try a PWO or not.

cnf - you should be able to delete the run from your history. I know for sure you can if you have an Apple, at least. You’ve got this calendula ! I’ll be cheering you on from here! Thank you for this! I started a few workouts and didn't like them so switched after a few minutes. I didn't realize I could delete them!

Take a bunch of classes, or I can send you some workouts from my training peaks coaching account and you can see if you like it more

Happy last day of September!
I just did a 30 minute interval run with Olivia and crush your core, followed by some stretching.
My food yesterday started great and took an enormous nosedive with ice cream and bread. Oops. New day today.
Protein bar Protein shake Last of the left over tikka masala Garlic sesame chicken with brown rice and broccoli for dinner I still have some space for snacks too, so we'll see how they shake out

I know you missed a day this week but if you’re working on helping your mind it might make it easier to justify to yourself taking that scheduled rest day instead of pushing through ( although you don’t need to justify it, you need it, I’m just trying to figure a way you can make it work for you and how you’re thinking/feeling about things).

I took a much needed rest day yesterday, which ended up biting me in the ass since H had to go OOT for work at the last minute yesterday afternoon which means no workout today either. Typically when he's OOT I'd get up and run (staying within a few minutes of my house since the kids will still be sleeping) but it's been raining for 2 days and our dirt road is a muddy, mucky mess.

Arms day. I was planning on doing a short run after but didn’t feel like it. I’ll do it tomorrow since I don’t have a morning class and will have a later start to work, so I can get a longer one in.
Food should be good. I’m happy with myself for prepping veggies on the weekend so I have snacks to grab since work is busy. I’ve also avoided having an after dinner cookie so far this week even though I think about it all day, although it is only Wednesday. Not that there’s anything wrong with having a cookie, but I’d have one (or more) every day if I didn’t reign it in and frankly I don’t need the sugar.

Rest day today on The Prep calendar so I did the stretch workout because my glutes are sore. I also took a nice walk through the neighborhood this morning. It was glorious. The weather was great and the dog was at daycare so I didn't have to focus on leash training just enjoying the walk.
Food has been good this week. I bought the 3 lb of precooked shredded chicken from Costco and made a big batch of chicken chili and have been eating that for lunch everyday. I also made that skinny taste frittata again so I'm having that for breakfast this week. Monday we had a honey Chipotle pork loin for dinner, last night we had barbecue chicken thighs and veggies, tonight we're having portobello mushroom burgers. Tomorrow I'm trying a Szechuan flank steak and peppers recipe I found on clean food crush.

Got my butt up for a 30 minute 90s fun run with Robin this morning. It didn’t quite shake me out of my workout funk but I did change up my regular route and I think that helped. I’m officially ending the month with 54 miles run/walked. My goal was 50 so I’m pleased!

I thought about it, but I'm already paying for iFit anyway for my treadmill programming, so it seemed worthwhile to use the bike programming as well. Only reason I like it is their programs control the settings for me.
