Y'all know me, I'm always curious how others do things vs how I do them. So let's say you're following a program like I'm following P90X right now. If you miss a day, do you repeat the whole week the following week, or just call it a missed day in the schedule? call it a missed day and I either make it up on the weekends or call it a missed day

My kids will be the death of me today. Anyone interested in a bossy 5 year old or a whiney 3 year old with a jacked up a hand? Free to good home. I did 2 miles doing Robin's newest 20 minute run, crush your core, and the intro to barre workout. It was hard but not enough. I think because it was the intro class and there was too much stand and talking about how to do stuff. I need to try one of the regular barre classes to decide how I feel about it still I think. I finished up with my favorite Wilpers stretch. I weighed myself again and I'm still sitting right at that 23-25lbs lost range. Time to reign in my eating because obviously the free weight dump is over and if I want to drop the other 20lbs I gained I need to quite eating kid snacks and apple pie. cnf , my gosh - your baby is only a couple weeks old! Give it time. Enjoy the pie and snacks. This!! moving because you feel good is one thing, but worrying about your weight other than observing it can wait! Feed that baby and don't worry about it. I also find it helpful to have snacks on hand that I will eat instead of the kid snacks - chopped up veggies, easily accessible fruits, etc. My grandma had a theory that if you left cut up fruits and veggies out on the counter, they will get eaten, and it's totally true - me and my family will grab that rather than rummaging through the pantry if the veggies or fruits are out and easy to grab!

I get irrationally excited about buying fitness equipment. I plan on doing P90X2 after I finish P90X, and there's a few things I need. I won't need it for another few months, but I want to buy it NOW NOW NOW.

sweetp I’m sorry you’re struggling. When I have lots of thoughts running through my head that I can’t get under control, I write them all out. It helps me find clarity. Maybe worth a shot?

I arrived home to find an echelon exercise bike on my front step. Odd as I didn’t order one. My thoughts wandered to wondering if someone surprised me with one. Why, I have no idea, but hey.
It turns out it’s for a neighbor.

I mean, I'm not going to lie and say I'm not going to panic anyway. But I'll try to stay hush about it. LOL I would rather you tell us so we can help talk you down from that state. Even if it is just a little.

I was thinking the same thing. Sleep can definitely play a role, and i find if I am dehydrated, it makes it even worse.

B- smoothie w/ Greek yogurt, banana, PB2, protein powder, and almond milk L- salad; cottage cheese; pita chips D- likely Indian food- dal, roti, chicken, and veggies

Week 5 of the PZP challenge started yesterday and it is now the ramp up. This morning's ride pushed me so close to my max, I almost threw up on my last interval. 17 minutes in zone 5. Definitely doing the endurance ones for the rest of the week haha.
My boss also showed up this morning with 150 fish, so I took about 25 huge pickerel home for free, which is awesome. Chili for supper tonight, trying to chug water today.

I made, and promptly ate two slices of another pie during nap time. I'll be nice to myself. I promise.

I'm at an engineering firm, but his first nation has a deal with the fisheries board here, so when they have a surplus, the band gets it for very cheap. But it's short notice. Apparently they pulled up last night with 80 pallets and it had to be distributed before it thawed out. He said there was so much left they were trying to offload that he was able to take a box for all his employees haha nice guy!

Due to this suggestion, I pulled out my neglected journal and started writing a bunch of randomness. Even though the sentences don't make any sense, I do feel better! I'm going shoot for an early night tonight and sleep in tomorrow.

I heard from my surgeon regarding hernia surgery. 10/21. Its bittersweet as the hernias are hurting more and I know it's only a matter of time before it gets worse. But i now know also have a stop running date.
I'm sad. But shit this already impacts me daily. I skip all ab work in bootcamps and stretching, etc. I need it. (Insert shruggy person thing here)

Remote schooling is crushing me. DS's behavior is the worst it has ever been. I skipped my workout today and said some very unkind things to myself in the mirror this morning. I'm just....yeah. Girl... Go back to that mirror and repeat after me... “I am a badass who doesn’t take any crap from anybody!” Yourself included. Be kind to yourself. LOL! That quote cracked me up. One of the best movies ever made.

I can’t wait to try the barre classes today! I think I may try one this evening! I plan to aim for 30-40 minutes of... something. I couldn't decide between weights and yoga, but barre might be the happy medium I need. Maybe I will do one strength class and one barre class. I did enough barre in the past that I think I can skip the intro.

I forgot how strong I feel when I do Liift4 I am doing 8 pounds and 10 pounds when I used to always do 5 pounds and some 8 which I would struggle with have you tried the new MBF program? i am just wondering how it compares. they are first on my list when i sign back up. I did the sample and the Summit work out for MBF and loved it. I'll definitely be doing it when it comes out in December. I've been told many of the moves are kind of like CrossFit-ish but I've never done CF so I can't compare.

The house didn't sleep well last night so I decided to go for a 2 mile walk vs a BOD workout tonight. The weather is gorgeous and I just didn't feel like jumping or lifting.

I am feeling good and on track this week. My plan is to work out tonight and Thursday before work (since I work a little later that morning), and then both weekend days. Or at least Saturday, kind of depends on our plans on Sunday.
Food is good.
B- Breakfast crunch wrap, coffee with collagen peptides and creamer
L- TJ's riced cauliflower bowl with tofu, chickpeas, and sweet potato, plus some Lillie apple cider dijon chicken
S- 3 ingredient lentil salad
D- making a chicken burrito bowl (Lillie smokey honey pulled chicken, white rice, refried beans from the Mexican place this weekend, mango, avocado, salsa)
I also have room in my macros for a beer, and that sounds good, so I may have one of those.
Workout will be some sort of mixture of yoga, barre, and strength.

20 minute hip hop ride with Ben 30 minute bike + upper body bootcamp with Robin 20 minute barre with Ally
Robin’s bootcamp was some solid work. I’m keeping it bookmarked because I will for sure do it again. Also made me want to check out more of her strength options.
Barre was pretty good. It kind of just made me miss the studio more. I’m looking forward to seeing where they take it but I think I’ll keep my obe subscription for now.

I'm fairly certain I strained my quad. I've had it up all night, it's compressed for now. It's had some ice and heat. It feels mildly better. Hopefully my chiro can get me in tomorrow or Thursday.
