Do any of you use Untappd? It's been really helpful for me to keep track of what I've tried and loved or hated. I have heard of it, but haven't used it. That's the one that tied to your location, right? Is it possible to shut that feature off and still use it? I never have the location on my phone turned on. I use Untappd. You don't HAVE to use your location, you can just select certain bars/liquor stores in your area that you want to get updates from and it'll push updates when they get something in stock.

I will try pretty much any beer. I've only recently in the last couple years gotten into beer.

I'm a huge craft beer fan, but I live in Vermont, so that's practically a given. MH has very close friends who are big in the Vermont beer scene. We went up there to visit for a week at the end of March. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had a few Long Trail beers last weekend. The Summer Ale and Blackberry Wheat were really good. We've been getting a lot of variety 12 packs so we can try new beers.

Yes! And visiting breweries is one of my favorite vacation activities. Same here! We map out all the breweries in the area we are vacationing in.

This is reminding me of the best beer I ever had. It was a couple of years ago now but I still think about it and start salivating.
MH and I were brewery hopping in Seattle and went to Reuben's and they had their cream ale randalized with vanilla beans and orange peel. OMFG. I thought I died and went to heaven when I took a sip of it.
And now I'm drooling all over my desk.

👋 SO has worked at a craft brewery for about 12 years now and we have invested interests in a couple more.
We're west coast and tend to stick to local stuff.

We're big craft brew fans. My favorite is Southern Tier's Creme Brulee Imperial Stout. Good, strong, hearty dessert beer. Too bad it's seasonal Have you had their Chocolat? That one is really good too. Pair it with some truffles and you're good to go for dessert!

Going to breweries is one of our favorite weekend past times. I was at 4 different ones last weekend alone (we were kid free—though we don't have an issue bringing her when she is with us...but maybe not as many in a weekend).
My favorite is IPA or Pale Ales. My husband is much more open to styles...but I am trying to branch out more.
I use an app called Untapped and I hit 700 distinct beers this weekend. I'm not sure if I should be proud or ashamed.

Also the Grapefruit Scuplin IPA is amazing. Love that one. I think the Pineapple Sculpin is quite good as well.

Lurker here - was waiting for things to settle before jumping in. Huge craft beer fan so I see I've found my people! In NC with a lot of good breweries around. DH is also into trading beer with people around the country so we get to try a lot of different beers. Love IPA's and bourbon barrel aged stouts but will try almost anything.

No Victory love here yet? I grew up a block from their original brewery so they have a special place in my heart.

No Victory love here yet? I grew up a block from their original brewery so they have a special place in my heart. My husband is from PA, so we buy a lot of Victory at our house. He is a big fan. Prima Pils is a great summer beer. And Golden Monkey is dangerously easy to drink if you want to get messy.

Yum, beer. I love IPA's which are ridiculously expensive over here, so they are a rarity.
French saison style ones in the Summer.
Belgian triples are another favourite.

I go here. I like a lot, especially IPAs, sours, saisons, porters, and stouts.
We have a fantastic local brewery that I will not mention by name for triangulation reasons.
One of my favorites overall is southern tier and my husband's family has a cottage in that area so we love visiting too.
And I will be at the VT brewer's festival for the second year in a row this year. It's a real treat.

I did the burlington brew tour in January and it was really good. I also went to the alchemist and fell in LOVE with Crusher
