My city is pretty big on craft beers and continually growing. I'm more of a stout and porter fan, though. I love stuff aged in bourbon barrels!

I spend more time browsing at the distributors than anywhere else. Me too!!! I'm also just so fucking happy to be able to drink again. The first pregnancy I didn't mind so much, the second time I got real twitchy.

This looks like the appropriate place to intro! I had $40 worth of bottle returns yesterday (in Michigan we get $0.10 per bottle), and approximately 99% were craft beer. Professional lurker since fall 2013 - 2 under 3. I tend to fall off the face of the earth occasionally, so don't be surprised about drive-by postings. I'm lucky enough to live near Beer City, so I have the world at my fingertips! 🍺 We used to live in Grand Rapids. Such a good beer city. I miss Founders and Bells (I know it's kzoo but Michigan nonetheless). Two hearted ale is probably my favorite beer ever and we can't get it here.

MH used to brew his own beer and it was really good. He once made a Pliny the Elder clone that was spot on (since we can't get it here). Sadly his job has really gotten in the way of him making me beer. MH used to be a professional brewer, but his dislike of the way things were run got in the way of his employment. He still home brews. His equipment takes up my entire front closet and a corner of our tiny apartment living room.

I love living in the land of beer. There's always something new to try! I'm a huge fan of a lot of Deschutes and my go to beer at home is Fresh Squeezed. It's so flipping good on tap. Citrus Mistress too.

I'm in the minority that I do not like IPAs at all. However, I absolutely love good sour beers and most German style beers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Nope. No thank you. I find most IPAs too hoppy and bitter. I am also not a fan, my H on the other hand drinks then all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yassss. My people. My current favorites are sour beers and IPAs. Sour beers are perfect for warm weather IMO.
@blanche We got a Total Wine last year and it was like the angels singing. I love that place.

I belong here. Give me all the beers, but especially IPAs.
I like porters and stouts too, but more so in the fall and winter.

I'm not usually an IPA fan, but I had one by Hidden Cove recently that I enjoyed. I think it was Castoff.

Sometimes I feel like IPAs spoiled other beers for me. I just don't like the variety that I used to.
