No workout today. I did a bunch of deep cleaning around the house and that had me sweating, so I’m calling that good enough. Maybe I’ll get on the treadmill when the kids go to bed, but I also really want a Moscow mule, so. I didn’t meal plan this week, and while I was able to still stay within my calorie goal, it was definitely kind of a mess. That means back to meal planning next week.

I did a 30 minute run today and a 20 min beginner class with Cody on the bike. My leg strength needs a lot of work and I can really feel it when they add the resistance on, so I’m excited to see if that improves once I consistently ride for a few months.

Today's plan is a quick arms/abs workout during nap/quiet time then a C25K this evening. I did measurements and weighed myself yesterday to start the month, and I think I'm going to focus on NSV for the time being. Breakfast was scrambled egg with everything bagel seasoning, feta and avocado. Plus a peach. I have to figure out what I'm making for dinner, I'm trying a new meal plan (not diet but I'm having major decision fatigue and needed to not try to cultivate meals and come up with a grocery list, etc) so I have ingredients for 6 meals for the next week. I just need to make sure I'm not trying to cook something more complex when DH isn't around to occupy the littles. Finally, does anyone have a good post run strech routine they can share? I'm losing a lot of flexibility and I know I need to stretch more but I haven't found anything yet that I like. I'm the worst at stretching, but since I signed up for peloton I've been doing a five minute stretch here and another one there. Since they have five minute ones specifically targeted to be done following specific workouts (runs, rides) I make a point to do one almost every day. Sorry that isn't more helpful if you don't peloton. I have hopes and dreams of a Peleton tread if I keep this up once the weather turns in fall/winter but not currently. That is really good to know that they pair things up like that, thank you!

Everything is speed by mph and percent incline, so it's not like the bikes where the resistance doesn't necessarily line up with non-peloton equipment. If you have a treadmill I'd try out the 30 day trial and see if you like it!

Yes. One of the classes I did the other night had a set of squat-reverse lunge-curtsy lunge-regular lunge-squat on the same side for like a minute at a time and I about died. I hate lunges so much. ha, this is probably one of my favorite things to do at the barre! What class was this?

I love lunges and squats. All variations. Fuck push-ups though. Always and forever.
Rested the last two days and feeling fresh today. I need to make a plan for the weekend. MH is off today so it should be a nice 3 day weekend of workouts.

2 miles with 200x4 intervals. the air was thick with smoke so i called it quits after the intervals and jogged home. No strength today. Going into work on our day off to catch up for a few hours. then may enjoy the pool with no kids in the afternoon. Going to try to enjoy the no kid day today; as I think I will be pulling them out of karate and daycare very soon with how quickly the numbers are rising here. B: everything rice cake with mashed avocado and turkey L: sub D: grilled shrimp with veggies.

2 miles doing Matt Wilpers 20 minute rock run, five minute stretch, then two 10 minute strengths; arms with Kendall and lower body with RK. Those 10 minute workouts are deceptive! Woof.
I'll be making myself avocado toast and scrambled eggs in a bit here. A protein shake needs to be on the docket too. My protein intake has been low and I notice a difference for sure in my recovery. Chicken curry and rice maybe for dinner. I don't know. I'll try to keep my choices decent.

4 mile run today and it was hot, but it felt good! We’re driving half way across the country this weekend to visit my parents so I need to be active while I can.

I did not do abs yesterday, but maybe tomorrow after my plyo workout. I did shoulders and arms today and then went for a short (very short) run just to test out my leg. It feels fine now, but I’ll know tomorrow if it was too soon! I also got new running shoes a few weeks ago so it was nice to finally try them out too.

Hi, I’ve done no exercise at all this month so far. We’d planned on a lot of hiking this week but our trip got rained out so I need to get back on the rowing and will hopefully do a neighbourhood bike ride today.
I have a new NSV though, I was looking at the stats on my garmin which I got in February around the same time I started working out regularly and in that time my resting heart rate has reduced from average of 72 to 54

I did 3 easy miles on the treadmill while watching Hamilton. Can’t wait to watch the rest later!

I was going to get up early to run this morning but I was up multiple times throughout the night and decided to sleep in. I might go tonight, might be a rest day. I’m hungry and want to eat all the things but so far I’ve just had protein oatmeal with berries and some string cheese.

I was so tired after work yesterday that I almost didn't ride, but in the end dragged my ass onto the bike for a low-impact 30 minutes, which I'm glad I did because I felt less tired afterward.
Today most of the people on my team will be offline so I have a pretty easy day. If I can finish up in time I'd like to get on at 4 PST for the encore of the All For One rides.

Scheduled rest day today (yeah, I went back back to Fridays). My legs HURT from leg day yesterday and the muscles are giving me some lovely extra water weight this morning.

I did a 30 min live ride and I set a new PR! I wasn’t planning on doing a live class, but I got on right at 11 and there was one starting with HMC. I liked the class and could keep up with all the #s she was throwing out, so I bookmarked it to do it again sometime.

I do think one of the reasons I hate lunges is that I still have SPD related issues... 2.5 years later. I don’t mind squats, although I find front squats to be uncomfortable.

Today I did Cody’s 30 minute pride ride and then his 15 minute groove ride. Both were really fun. I finished with a couple 10 minute core workouts that were on my weekly training plan. I was supposed to do three but I hate core and was done after 2. 😂

Food should be good today as well. I started with a Jimmy Dean sandwich, and made Greek chicken crunch wraps for lunch.
For dinner I’m making some lighter steakhouse fare- sirloin steaks, air fried Brussels sprouts, and either mashed or air fried sweet potatoes. Probably air fried. And wine. 😊
I may go for a walk later. I am off work and don’t have the kids and there isn’t much else I can do anyway. 🤣

Looks like the one in the weekly training plan so I’ve got that on deck for tomorrow. I liked the upper body set so I’m looking forward to the rest of the days. Do you have any idea how often these are supposed to change? I haven’t looked into it too much but I like it.

I’m still on the first one. I kind of assumed there would be a different plan every week. But I haven’t seen a new one yet.

I did day 12 of a Chloe Ting today. The lower ab video is killer for me, but I powered through because it’s only 10 minutes. I had egg roll in a bowl for lunch and will probably add that to my rotation of meals because DH ate 3 helpings. I snacked on some string cheese and now I’m willing myself to eat leftovers and not cave and order pizza.

I did Cody’s BSB ride and my legs are gonna feel it tomorrow. Since he threw in some arms, I decided to add on 10 minutes of arms with Jess.
OMG the BURRRNN with just 2 lb weights.

Today wasn't as bad as I anticipated, in part because I was too sore to put up more weight than I did. Though I also have zero clue where I am with a SSB squat for a max, so it was kind of a stab in the dark.
And back tomorrow for some benching.
