Holy shit Ally Love does not play. Her Whitney ride should count for like 5 workouts right? How does she not sweat?
Anyway work out 2 of the week done. Need something more low key for tomorrow!

I’ve been doing a fun push up/yoga challenge that I made up. Sun salutation, 10 push ups (on step 4 below) some yoga move. Sun salutation, 9 push ups, some yoga move And so on down to 1 This is my standard sun salutation:

GhoatMonket, are you happy in general with the coaching so far? Yes. He's a little behind on a couple things, but I know why and I'm giving him some grace for that. Anything urgent I send to him and he gets back to me right away, which is fine. Looking back at last night, when my cramping started I probably should have called him and let him make the call if I continue or not. But then we'd be missing out on this fun lunge conversation.

Do 4 sets of 10 on each leg with a 60 sec rest between each set. Report back. I was doing 5 sets of 10 on each (5 different types of lunges), but backed them down to 5 sets of 5 each leg because I got annoyed with how long it took. LOL Well fine. I just suck at them then!

I love lunges, too! And burpees. They are an immediately effective for me. Now plain pushups? Nope. I can do like two and then I'm dead. What? I can't comprehend this. Nope nope nope. Agreed. Burpees are evil. I'll do 100 pushups any day.

I love lunges and squats, but not burpees because I’m not a monster. Squats yes, lunges no. I will do all the squats with all the weights. I think my issue is lunges tend to bother my knees after too many.

My H and I decided and started LIIFT4 on BOD.
I had started it once before so I already knew what to expect. I enjoyed it and I'm going to do my best to stay on track.

Thank you. It’s amazing to think how much easier it was with one kid already. 😂 I knew it would be a tough transition but damn going from 1 to 3 is something else lol. I got on the peloton the day of my 6 week appt so I’m definitely like you. I also jumped right back on my H too, 😂😂 I missed all my forms of exercise. 😏👀 Hot dayum, gurl! You go get you some! I... did not miss that form of exercise. Sorry H, lol. Haha for some reason in the last couple years I have gotten back my libido of my early 20s. I’m not complaining. Having infants and a preschooler make it difficult to find good time though lol.

OMG you all are killing it! Welcome all new comers, lurkers, once a monthers, - it's so inspiring to watch everyone killing their goals and not giving up! MelanieCarmichael, didn't you link the reddit strength program? Can you link it again? I need to grab the workouts. I donated blood last night and it took more out of me than i expected. I did a 2 mile fastish walk followed up with Robins 10 min pride core. I then went to breakfast with H and went ham on some eggs benedict. I gave blood last week and definitely found myself more hungry the next couple of days.

Donating blood always impacts my running for a couple of days. I get winded easier and just generally have to push harder.

I'm currently in the middle of nowhere (with limited cell reception, and unreliable wifi), and it took most of my workout time this morning to "preload" the workouts I planned to do, so I did 10 minutes of core, and 10 minutes of stretching. I will plan to walk later today once it cools off - that didn't happen yesterday.

Today is a day off, and H and I are getting Mexican food for dinner. Food otherwise is okay.
Yesterday I did a 20 minute Adrian body weight strength followed by a 10 minute Becs body weight. I had done both before, and they were fun to do again. I am so sore today from this week!

Yes. One of the classes I did the other night had a set of squat-reverse lunge-curtsy lunge-regular lunge-squat on the same side for like a minute at a time and I about died. I hate lunges so much.

Started today off well. I ran 2 miles at a very fast pace for me, and set a new mile PR at 9:53! I walked after to close my exercise ring and I'm on track to close them all today.
Food is planned out for the day and should be right on target.

DAY 60!!!! Insanity Asylum vol 2 Championship plus Insanity Fit Test. I did it. 60 days of Surviving Shaun T.
This has been the hardest 60 days. Physically but mentally too. I haven't weighed myself yet or done my after pictures, but regardless of whether I lost any weight or inches, I did lose my excuses. I no longer can say a workout is too long or too hard, over this last 60 days I did the long workouts & I did the hard workouts. He did surprise us this morning with a week-long recovery phase, and then he is starting a new challenge on July 13th.

I ran 4 miles today. I did the 30 minute All for One run and it was great! Not a particularly challenging run but really fun.

Today's plan is a quick arms/abs workout during nap/quiet time then a C25K this evening. I did measurements and weighed myself yesterday to start the month, and I think I'm going to focus on NSV for the time being.
Breakfast was scrambled egg with everything bagel seasoning, feta and avocado. Plus a peach. I have to figure out what I'm making for dinner, I'm trying a new meal plan (not diet but I'm having major decision fatigue and needed to not try to cultivate meals and come up with a grocery list, etc) so I have ingredients for 6 meals for the next week. I just need to make sure I'm not trying to cook something more complex when DH isn't around to occupy the littles.
Finally, does anyone have a good post run strech routine they can share? I'm losing a lot of flexibility and I know I need to stretch more but I haven't found anything yet that I like.

I'm the worst at stretching, but since I signed up for peloton I've been doing a five minute stretch here and another one there. Since they have five minute ones specifically targeted to be done following specific workouts (runs, rides) I make a point to do one almost every day. Sorry that isn't more helpful if you don't peloton.

I dont think I hate any exercise as much as lunges I LOVE lunges. Leg day is my favorite. I fully realize that’s a UO I like leg day too, mostly because my legs are somewhat strong and I hate upper body because I have no upper body strength.

I don't mind leg day in general, just hate lunges.
And fuck a Romanian squat. That's just a lunge in disguise.

You are all killing it! Way to go!
June was fine. My goals are pretty wushu wasn’t so it’s wushu wasn’t if I achieved them, but I worked out most days, ate mostly well, and didn’t die so that’ll do.
July will be most of the same. I’d like to up my veggie and protein intake but otherwise just keep working out and eating mostly ok. I didn’t run much in June because my leg was bothering me, but hopefully it’s ok now/ I’ll find out tomorrow or Sunday because I’ve decided I’m going to try a short slow run one of those days.

Today is a rest day unless I decide to do an ab workout. Yesterday was leg day and I did the P90X legs workout. I can feel my muscles in a way where I feel like I worked them and look toned and tight without too much soreness, so perfect. (I am not actually as toned and tight as my muscles make me feel, for the record- I did not develop a Kardashian- like ass from this workout, in case you were wondering). Food will be ok.
