Does anyone keep in touch with dapostrophe? It’s been a long time since we have heard from her and I wanted to see if she is all right.

Hey. I tried to check in earlier but got distracted. Nothing too exciting to report over here. I’ve mostly spent the day snuggling and feeding the baby. My bff’s parents stopped by this morning and brought some gifts, which was very nice of them. I don’t know if I mentioned but dh has decided to fix the grout in our kitchen this week. So for the couple days he was removing the parts he’s replacing, including running the very loud shop vac. Today he replaced the one broken tile. I suggested he do the grouting after the girls are in bed because then we don’t have to worry about kids walking on it. He wanted to do it at like 1pm, no common sense.

The party got better. More people showed up that I knew. We just got home, happy to see my girl. I wish I would have taken her.

Movie rec: There are 2 Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies on Disney+. I was shocked because I actually enjoyed them and found them funny too. They were big hits with the kids. We’ve seen one. Is it Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2? Or is it like a separate animated one? Dh and I are watching Black Monday on Showtime. You would enjoy it. Lots of hidden humor and it’s the 80’s so the music and costumes are rad😉 The other one is called something like DoaWK Dog Days (as in the dog days of summer). I just planned to put them on to entertain the kids and next then I know I'm totally invested. Not animated, live action. Ooh. I'll have to check out Black Monday because we have Showtime now. I saw it has Don Cheadle and I love him.

mamabear the Disney version of Hercules? Megara's song I Won't Say I'm in Love is one of my favorite Disney songs. That is a good one; I was never a fan of the movie but that song is on a Disney CD we have and it’s catchy! Same. I can’t even get M to watch more than 10 min of this movie.

Morning. Dh let me sleep in and took a head start to the dunes. I cycled there 30 minutes later, it was nice. Ds & Dd found a friend from school and played together for almost 1.5 hours, we got them icecream afterwards. Currently putting together teacher appreciation/end of year gifts.

The patio set I found and the person wouldn't respond, he finally did a week later. So we're on our way to get it. I'm ecstatic! It's beautiful and a great deal! A is being annoying about it though.

I introduced DD to Clueless last night. Now DH and DS are on their way here. T asked me last night if we might get another baby someday. I told him no then he wanted to know how I know we won’t get one. I said we already had the most babies on our street so it wouldn’t be fair. Then I told him maybe our neighbors will have a baby soon and let us babysit (we are in their wedding in August and I know she wants to try right away). He seemed satisfied with that. Those neighbors are spending the 4th with us so I’ll have to give them the heads us.

Nothing on the agenda today. I need to get something for MH's birthday next week but I'm at a loss.
Yesterday we bought a Chromebook for the girls at Costco. It was easy to set up. I figured it looks like they'll be doing DL 3/5 days next school year so it'd come in handy. I haven't bought a laptop in so long I had no idea the new ones were so much slimmer, lighter, and didn't have giant vents all over. I fried a laptop once from overheating it so I'm always acutely aware of proper ventilation. 😆

Morning.
Yesterday was busy with all the stuff I had to do. I need to relax today, but there’s still never ending house work. I need to clean floors and do food prep.
Anyone have live houseplants? I got a few over the last few months. I water them once a week. Yesterday I noticed one of them has a light fuzz on the soil. Don’t know what it is, but I took it outside to spray down with this fungus spray thinking it’s that. When I picked it up a couple nats flew off of it. Is there anything I can use to keep those little bugs off or that fuzz? Just looking for basic care and upkeep tips.

Morning!
Yesterday was fun, we had my sister and her family over to grill out.
This morning I took the kids to Target and BedBathandBeyond while DH hit Costco and the grocery store. Later today we have my nephew’s birthday party (there will be cookie cake so I am very excited). In the meantime we’re going to try and get some mirrors and artwork hung.

Apparently there are beavers near the creek at the top of our street so we took the for a walk to catch a glimpse, but they weren’t there. Did a little work outside - pulling weeds and a little work in the garden beds I’m trying to revamp. I want to have trtlcrzy’s skills. My daylilies just look over grown so I am reading about how to prune them back when I really think I just want to dig them up and replace them with the hydrangeas that were originally planted too close to the house.

I have a snake plant that lives in my house. 2 things: you could back off on watering a tiny bit, fungus gnats thrive in moist soil. Or you could top dress your pot with a layer of sand which would also deter them.

Daylilies are basically like weeds, hard to kill. You can probably divide them, they need that every few years anyways. I wouldn’t do it if the weather is super hot though, temps in the 70s would be better. Also, I fully believe that if you have something in your garden that you don’t like then take it out. Your garden should reflect your tastes.

We went and got that patio set and its everything I wanted. I'm so happy. Of course it's raining for the next 7 days so we won't get to use it 😒
J's practice was canceled due to rain so I have A hanging the curtain rod in the living room and I'm fluffing the wrinkles out of the curtains in the dryer.

Morning. My living room floor is currently covered with Barbies, LOLs and their accessories. The girls are playing nicely so I don’t care for right now. I’m thinking about running to Starbucks in a little bit when V finishes nursing. Today is her due date and she’s already been with us for 5 days, I am so glad I didn’t have to wait.
The girls and I have watched Hercules a few times, actually DH picked it out to watch earlier this week with them.

It's going to be a rough couple of days for her. I believe here it’s from a week before till the Sunday after the 4th so they *should* be done after the 5th but people aren’t very good at following rules. My neighborhood is at the very southwest corner of the city so we hear a lot from the country as well as from within the neighborhood. I don’t mind that much, and try not to complain. People on my neighborhood fb page will complain all week though, which is actually more annoying to me.

guster do you follow the blog The Enchanted Home? She's up in your general area, I think. Her home and gardens are spectacular, and she has a hydrangea hedge that stretches for hundreds of feet and is just incredible. #yardgoals

Curtains are hung and look great. Changes the whole look of the room. They need hemmed. They're 4 inches to long. But the next shortest ones would have been 4 inches to short. I condensed and moved MJ'S toys since they look bad there now.

peachsmama are they not social distancing in your state? Just curious since you're talking about parties and stuff. I say that as I sit here in Austin reading that they are going back to toilet paper limits and shutting everything back down.

I say that as I sit here in Austin reading that they are going back to toilet paper limits and shutting everything back down. Ohio is mostly open. Businesses are still being cautious. But for the most part things are semi normal here. I'm not sure how big this party will be. It was supposed to be outside so I'm curious how big their home is.. the party last night was outside and not big. Aside from the guy who's birthday it was picking me up and kissing me good bye... I social distanced last night.

I have a fig leaf plant, and two others that in not sure what they are. Just smaller ones that live on the console and built in.

Doesn't your state average around 10,000 new cases a day right now??
