Went to the ENT and it is a tube behind his ear drum. I was praying that he could get it out in the office. Vent ahead:

I’m livid. I worked extra hours last night to get a form that needs signatures so I can submit a large PO request and this morning Boss L all she had to do was ask our VP to go into the system and approve so then I can push the approval through the system to get the PO # to the vendor so we can get an invoice to get it to hit this quarter (ends tomorrow). She didn’t stress the importance of it needing to be done ASAP and the VP still hasn’t approved it. I’m so glad I made all those phone calls and sent all those emails to get the signatures for only not get the VP to take 3 minutes to push an approve button. I’m sure she will be angry when it’s not done but it’s falling on her. I have documentation that I did more then what I should do to get this done.

That's awful cagoldi . Do the two of you have any history/is there a pattern of her doing things like this, or is this new behavior for her? I don't know if that would change my answer of how I'd respond if I were you, I guess I'm just curious. Do you have the kind of relationship where you could go to her and talk honestly about this? Again, just spit-balling ideas.

We’ve never had this kind of issue before. I don’t really have the kind of relationship where we could speak about it, but until she sent that email, I felt like maybe she could be reasonable.

Y'all aren't going to believe this. We left our house on a golf cart ride. We were gone from 2:45-4. We got home and A says "that bike doesn't belong to us" I walk in and my nephews boots are here. I yelled for them and they called back " we're in here playing " Apparently they were at my moms and left to go home at 3. They destroyed the boys bedroom and play room.. I called my brother and my sil came and cleaned it up but they had no idea where they were! My boys go between houses all the time but I always call my mom when they make it here and she calls me when they make it to her. Apparently they don't do that...

She has strep. Amoxicillin for 10 days.

Glad we went so she can feel better instead of waiting over the weekend. Plus we got ice cream while we were out.

I replied to my manager saying,

“Hello, ______ , good afternoon.

I have reviewed the attached spreadsheet. My idle time is definitely higher than I would like at the moment due to no access to childcare as a result of our stay at home orders. I’ll continue to try to meet my production goals to the best of my ability.

Thank you.”

That last part is BS since we literally have NO work at the moment. I sent HR copies of the emails, spreadsheets, and IM with my coworker indicating she did not get the same request.

We have an older tech that only works every other weekend. She’s pretty much at retirement. She is scared to come in to the hospital because her husband isn’t in the best of health. Understandable, so they asked me to work this weekend. I agreed. I have either worked or been on call every weekend this month.

In these uncertain times I’ll take whatever work I can get, while I can get it. I’m low man on the totem pole, so yeah, survival mode and all that. I honestly don’t think I will lose either of my jobs, but I’m the first to not get hours if they need to cut back.

I just ordered takeout for the third time this week😬 I can’t even say it was to support local businesses since one of them was Outback. The other two were local though. We need to get back into a healthy dinner routine next week or my waist will grow and my bank account will shrink!

I felt good about the online school stuff today and felt like I could do this. After school we get an email that they want to minimize screen time for K-1 and will have a new schedule Monday. Sigh. Just settle on something so we can get a routine down.

It was sunny and 60 today so C and I went for a bike ride. It turned into a two hour ride on the paved bike path and wooded trails. It was a lot of fun but my back hates me right now.

So I trimmed some trees in our backyard yesterday and apparently injured my thumb. I've been wearing a brace all day to keep it stabilized and hoping it heals on its own.

We had a phone conference with Cadence's teacher, but it was more about do we have access to technology and are we ok on food. I just wanted April's sight word list to add to our flashcards.
She said right now learning is optional and they don't want parents feeling pressured to teach. I'm just trying to fill my kids day time with stuff other than YouTube.

I got her on her istation this afternoon. She told me if you do good then you get harder work, so she prefers to do not so good so they keep giving her the easy work. 😳 My kid is trying to screw the system already.

He had his pacifier.  I can try a lollipop.

The problem is I think it freakin hurts, you know?  He's putting tweezers through the hole in his ear drum to get the tube.  I can't blame him for crying.

Does a doctor's office carry this?  It's not at a hospital.  I can always call them and ask.
