My little 21 mo niece is admitted to the hospital. I feel so bad for them. Waiting on COVID testing to come back.

Oh no wineallthetime! Poor baby! Was she exposed that they are aware? I hope her test comes back negative and shes feeling better soon.

We obviously have 0 plans. I'm meeting my boss today at my office to swap paperwork. I might look up some cookie recipes and see if I have stuff on hand, to make with evie to keep her occupied. We might try one of the family meal plans local restaurants are offering this weekend for pick up.

I got an email from our operations manager yesterday afternoon with an update on the situation and how it effects our facility.

If we are working from home, we should plan on doing that until 4/17.

But our facility will not close because we are considered essential. Um, no, we are not. We assemble the cabinets in your neighborhood that bring fiber into your home for your cable. He is stating that because people are heavily dependent on the ability to WFH, our customers require our services, so we will not close.

I'm anticipating a huge increase in sales over the coming weeks then. *eye roll*

Quit thinking about money and your job and focus on people's health and safey.

I’m at work. No patients yet. They have until 10am to order tests. I hope WiFi works good today so I can watch Netflix. It’s awfullu slow in this building most days. I tried downloading a couple episodes before I left, but the kids have a few downloaded on their iPads, so it wouldn’t let me. 🙄

Morning. Week 1 down. I had an insane day at work yesterday, seriously never worked this hard ever. But now weekend! So no home school, the kids stayed in their pjs until 11 and were happy they were allowed to watch tv in the morning . Ds made some drawings for his friends, so we’ll go out in a little bit to mail them. We’re mostly staying inside (or the yard), but a little walk, keeping the distance in mind, should be okay.

Boss Lady is losing her mind bc apparently 45 minutes of me playing Barbies wasn’t enough. Sorry, I’ve got stuff to do, kiddo.

Currently eating some toast and then I need to start laundry.

Random, but anyone else unable to find chicken? We have checked every store in a few-mile radius multiple times in the past week, no luck. Apparently our area Costco has been out for 2 weeks!

Nice and peaceful until my got up. He immediately turned on the TV and my house is now filled with annoying voices selling houses. 😾

Thanks for the positive thoughts, my sweet niece tested negative! Thank goodness. She's still admitted because she needs oxygen but huge relief that it isn't COVID.

flamingo That is weird. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen chicken here, but not much of it. Our Costco was fully stocked. I’ve been meaning to run to the grocery first thing in the morning when they open so I can see if they have bread and a few other things they are usually out of in the afternoon.

Hi hi, I have some tummy issues so am eating toast and resting while mh takes the kids for a walk. J and N also had some stomach issues earlier this week, so I suspect it is what they had, but also reading it can be a symptom in adults now.. this is such a mind game.

No plans besides getting through the day. I guess the kids want to bake a cake to celebrate n's stuffed dogs bday, so we may do that I guess.

Hi again! I cleaned out and organized our fridge and mh and I are going to do the same with the pantry next.
The kids are playing restaurant.
Saturdays feel longer than the weekdays.

Hello! We took the boys to one of the school playgrounds so Colin could play some basketball and Chase could play soccer. It was creepy having the place to ourselves, though we knew we would. We all ended up playing basketball together and Colin is by far the best in the family, and he's not particularly great. Haha. We did need to remind Chase that we couldn't play on the playground equipment, but he stayed away. We plan to hit the trail this afternoon, we need to get them out while we still can.

Morning. Dh is in the basement watching a movie with the kids. I can’t handle being in a dark basement when it’s sunny out, so I’m upstairs catching up on shows. It’s chilly out, but the kids will play outside this afternoon.

Day one of being home with Dh and I’m already annoyed by him. Haha. He stayed up waaaaay late chatting with his friend from high school and now he’s tired and hung over and in general just bothering me. Hoping he turns it around after the movie he’s sleeping through.

Hey. I had a hard time falling asleep last night so I slept in this morning, which was nice. DH went grocery shopping this morning, and sounds like he got everything on my list. We are just planning to social distance today so nothing else to report.

I did run out to drop a few things in the mailbox, and to grab a couple items from Harris Teeter. Still no chicken. Just bizarre.

Chicken is such a hot commodity! I happened to stock up at Target before all this luckily. Now I feel like a chicken dealer for my family though. You need chicken? I'll drop it on your porch!

Cadence wants to stay an extra day so she can be there for my mom's dog's birthday. Um..ok. I'm sad, but at the same time I'm glad she is having so much fun. So I'll go pick her up on Monday.

People really are infuriating. Here we are trying to prevent going in to a total lock down, by not seeing anybody except my mom from a distance while she’s wearing a mouth cap, washing our hands religiously after every venture to a supermarket etc., watching how many kids are in the neighbourhood play area and leaving if there are more than a few and people are freaking having picknicks & sport sessions in the parks all huddled up together.

We were supposed to celebrate L and A's birthdays today so it's a bummer we aren't. Supposed to celebrate my niece's first birthday next weekend. Hoping in a couple months we can do a big fun party with a big bounce house and stuff.

My family all said to let us know when we need something new and they'll drop presents on our porch, so that's nice. My parents got A one of those little Radio flyer roller coaster things so that'll be fun.

wineallthetime that sucks. For me at least birthday (for the kids, not my own) are a big deal, I’m so sorry. Hope when this **** is over you can have a big party.
