My sister and grand niece are in isolation now due to exposure. No sxs yet.

flamingo chicken has been hard to find at times.

Other things that are now impossible to find--mini freezers and computer monitors (that work from home life).

We're going to make cinnamon rolls this afternoon.

Last night we went on a big bike ride/walk. It was fun. The kids and dog had a blast.

Random, but anyone else unable to find chicken? We have checked every store in a few-mile radius multiple times in the past week, no luck. Apparently our area Costco has been out for 2 weeks!

It’s sold out early here. If you go first thing after senior hours, you may get some.

We’ve been doing prepackaged like the breaded Perdue breast’s or frozen ones. Not ideal but it the only meat we really eat.

I stopped by my parents and we all sat on the back deck six feet apart. It was nice to see someone other than dh and C. My mom is retired and my dad works from home so aside from missing some dinners out with friends and having their house cleaned, their lives haven’t changed.

I then dropped a package at UPS and got a prescription and now I’m home again. It’s chilly but sunny and dh and C have been watching tv all day. It’s infuriating. Especially when I played like 9 different sports and 3 board games with C yesterday while working a full day. Sigh.

I need to clean the house but I’m dreading it. My neck and back have been hurting again so it’s going to be slow going which I hate because it never feels fully clean.

nam2013 it’s the same over here. There are people playing tennis daily at the court near us, one of my neighbors has friends coming and going, and on the news we are seeing all the millennial spring breakers drinking and chilling on the beach. I’m trying to focus on my part counting because it’s hard to not just say “fuck it let C play with his friends”. But I know that’s the wrong choice and I wouldn’t but 😖!

tallb I’m having stomach issues too but I’m hoping it just my general stress colitis. I’ve also had a sore throat that I was worried about but on the cdc website the only symptoms listed are fever, cough, and shortness of breath. I get a bit paranoid because dh is still working in Boston a few times a week.

Also I got a text from Expedia saying changes have been made to my Seattle trip by Jet Blue and I will get an email and need to accept or deny the changes ASAP. I requested cancellation well over a week ago so I was hoping that what this is. I check my email and it’s one line with just our names and itinerary number. Nothing clickable. Nothing to check. The title asks for my immediate response to confirm or deny changes. I try to call Expedia but it won’t let even connect you unless you are within 72 hours of travel. From there my flight is still booked but the flight times changed a lot so maybe that is it. I just want my $1000 back people!

I was thinking of C yesterday and wondering how he’s handling it. Personally I kinda think Brady is on his last leg but Tampa does have more weapons for him so we’ll see. Not sure about their O-line. I’m not particularly a Brady fan, although I do think he’s one of the best ever, but I kinda feel like he should hang it up and go out on top. Felt the same way about Favre back when he left GB.

ETA: yes I sound obsessed but clearly I have lots of time on my hands to ponder these things 🤪

We all ended up playing basketball together and Colin is by far the best in the family, and he's not particularly great. Haha. We did need to remind Chase that we couldn't play on the playground equipment, but he stayed away. We plan to hit the trail this afternoon, we need to get them out while we still can.

They have police patrolling parks here. No one is allowed to use them.

Hi, from the dealership. I test drove this morning and now I’m back with MH to buy a pilot. I hope it doesn’t take too long. Apparently H didn’t want to nap today so he’s in rare form. My SIL came over to watch the kids because she doesn’t want my in laws around them.

Chicken is hard to find here too. MH found some of those bagged Perdue short cuts and we have 1 pack of chicken breast in the freezer. He is attempting to make homemade gnocchi right now.

I spent all morning clean T’s closet and going through what I had in the attic from DS1 because his clothes got small very quickly. This afternoon I spend doing my college coursework. I’m like 2 hours away from finishing another class so I’m hoping to do that after bed.

Also, I have been killing my morning workouts but then my afternoon happy hours are killing that.

Kansas city just announced effective Tuesday a stay at home order is in effect. I'm kind of freaking out, but know we will be fine. We can still leave the house for essential services so I can get groceries when we need them.

Chicken is hard to find here too. Any meat really. One of my friends was at the store this morning and picked me up pork chops and chicken.

They haven't gone that far here yet but they did take the hoops completely down in the town's main park.
