We are in a shut down notice. So nothing except essentials are open. Meat is hard to find but we got the delivery schedule for our local grocery store so we have been able to get what we need.

I thought the meeting with my director was going to be telling us we were no longer working from home but on the two weeks paid thing. Nope still working from home so I’m happy (sort of).

Also all the plans we had for C’s birthday and our anniversary have been cancelled. Now I’m just hoping the things I ordered will come in.

Re: parks and playgrounds, not sure about here, but down home they had to close most (all?) of the beaches b/c the idiot spring breakers were going to ocean-front concerts, etc. (so they were absolutely packed in, standing room only). So now beaches are being patrolled, from what I understand.

I'm pretty sure deliveries will still be made. Residential deliveries will not be priority. Everything I've ordered today from amazon has a Thursday delivery, even with Prime.

Deliveries are still coming. Amazon has prioritized necessities though. MH is pouting that his grass seed delivery keeps getting postponed.

Mine and DD’s bridesmaid dresses for my friend’s wedding are supposed to come this week. I don’t know if there will be a wedding to wear them to. It’s supposed to be May 24.

MH wants to go to the beach house but the shore towns are asking us “seasonal people” to stay away. I also don’t feel like packing all the things since I don’t know what we will be able to get. C threw a fit on my parent’s front lawn today when I wouldn’t let him go in their house.

We still get mail and deliveries but business not essential are suppose to close down and you are suppose to stay home unless you have to work at an essential job or need to get basics

Morning!

Finished my table linens and have moved on to organizing the guest room dresser/closet (where I keep my out-of-season clothes). Basically if I look busy, C will not ask me to play Barbies. But if she senses weakness--i.e., I sit down to eat, browse my phone, etc--she moves in for the kill.

DH has a flight scheduled so he's leaving to do that in a bit. Lucky jerk...he has the perfect method of social distancing...being solo in an aircraft

@flamimgo, thanks for checking in! She's doing ok. Spiked another fever but hoping they can start weaning off oxygen today which is good. I can't remember now what my sister said she tested positive for 🤦 RSV and something else. Negative for flu and obviously COVID.

ETA: not RSV, 2 random bugs I'd never heard of.

H didn’t nap yesterday and is currently still asleep in my bed. He came in about 6:40 this morning and fell asleep on top of me.

I have to get some reports completed for work today so MH is supposed to entertain the kids.

Morning, I am feeling a bit better today, I had a little oatmeal. We had to give k a bottle bc my supply was pretty low and she was hangry yesterday. I also started a journal last night to try to document this a bit, I want to get j to do one too.

Kids want to bake a cake for a stuffed animals bday, so maybe we will do that. Also considering going for a drive to get a change of scenery. They closed the road near the cherry blossoms, which is prob for the best.

Morning! DH went to the grocery store this morning and still couldn't get his hands on any flour. I guess he didn't believe me when I said the store looked like it had been looted. I have done some laundry and did a bit of dusting upstairs, in effort not to let the house fall into shambles without the cleaners.

The boys are being monsters but I can't really blame them. They miss school and their friends.
