tgrimes , Santa only brings one present in our house, plus the stuff in the stocking. Normally he wraps it, but this year it's the freaking LOL house and I think I might put it together the night before and just put a bow on its roof without wrapping it. But, I haven't decided yet because I don't know how many pieces it comes in. It would be easier to wrap a big ass box then put together a big ass house. Choices choices.... No matter what your putting it together. Do you want to do it with or without a kid asking you to hurry? Lol.

Santa is too lazy for bows & ribbons. They'd get smashed in his sack. My MIL never wrapped Santa gifts. From the parent perspective, it's brilliant. But from the kid perspective, unwrapping was the best part. We only do one santa gift and its always sitting out ready to be played with.

I always wrap the Santa gifts (with different paper and in past years MH has used that paper for other gifts ). I don't get fancy with those ones though--no bows, no ribbons. They are not displayed under the tree for a couple of weeks, but ripped apart before the sun is even up so not much point in it. I always have some large, basically decorative garbage bags on hand for big awkward gifts.

I'm going to put a big flat sheet or blanket over L's big dollhouse with a bow on it. We did that with the kitchen set a couple years ago too. Noooo ribbon or bows on Santa presents. But Santa presents definitely need to be wrapped, I agree tgrimes! It's so fun looking at all of them not knowing what's inside!

We wrap santa gifts, but he only brings 1 gift and I use special paper. He also brings the stocking stuffers but doesn’t wrap anything within the stocking (my MIL wraps stuff in stockings, but my fam never has).

This year I was trying to use up little scraps and whatnot so my paper isn’t super coordinated. Maybe the end of next week I’ll go to target and find some pretty paper and embellishments for next year on sale.

It was to keep us busy so my parents could sleep longer. We were allowed to play with the unwrapped Santa gift and open our stockings while they slept.

Because my mom always had rolls and rolls and rolls of it so I never got to buy new pretty paper. So i only by a couple rolls at a time so I can get new. last year I bought 6 rolls of coordinating paper that I fell in love with. I'm so happy to finally be using it lol

No matter what your putting it together. Do you want to do it with or without a kid asking you to hurry? Lol. This came about after Lo was 2 and he got a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It took C a while to put it together with lo yelling/asking if it was done. From that point on we put gifts together before wrapping.
