Three days in and it already feels as if this month is flying by. So much happening, the girl child turns 3 on the 18th, baby girl #2 is due to come the last week of the month, and so much to do to get ready in the meantime. Halp. lol

I just got back from a nice little weekend away in DC for a wedding. I would like to go back to the king size bed, sleeping in, and long hot shower hotel life please. Iβm sure the grandparent withdrawal plus time change will be excellent. elle thatβs a full plate. I hope you get a minute to yourself to rest.

I'm having a baby next month. That's weird. I can empathize elle. All of a sudden it feels like we are out of time. I have more time than you but we have two more weekends until holidays start and there is so much to do.

I don't remember feeling so rushed or busy last time around, but then again I wasn't juggling a toddler along with everything else. And I wasn't anxious the way I've been this pregnancy so I'm sure that's part of it too.

I shall dream of it for quite some time.

J is really mostly fine, full of energy, and breathing is better. Man, yesterday was super rough though, so emotional, so many endless tantrums, I wasn't sure he'd ever go to sleep. He was back to himself today. My first intake appointment is the first week of December (this just seems like a waste of time to me) and then the actual appointment two weeks later. I just found out that my OB who delivered J is no longer at the practice and I'm super bummed about it because I really liked her. I could go back to the midwives I saw but they won't do VBAC, which I don't even know that I want, but I don't feel like being forced to make that decision right now.

Did you all survive the time change? Barely. DS does not give a single fuck about the Ok to Wake clock and just yells until someone comes to get him. So that was even more fun yesterday and this morning. The dog is also not coping well. I want to go to bed super early tonight.

Did you all survive the time change? For all the nighttime issues my kids have, luckily time changes don't seem to affect my kids. Small favors I guess.

Did you all survive the time change? I had everything under control (pushed bedtime back slowly during the week) and felt confident that it will go smoothly but then he was up screaming and crying throughout the night and the the steroid toddler tantrums happened. But he still does sleep until 7AM and I hope the bad night times are behind us.

So we got the hysterical scream cry terrified of the dark wakeup instead of the regular ole no waking us up...

Did you all survive the time change? I managed to somehow make plans to be away Saturday night and didnβt realize so it became my parentβs problem. They were up at 5:00 π itβs now payback because M is still currently awake at 10:20, wtf! She just keeps crying and climbing out all because she napped today. Never in my life would I think I had to give up naps with a fucking 2 year old!!! GDI

Itβs so important to be happy in that regard.

I really did like the midwives aside from the VBAC piece and with my luck this baby will be breech too and Iβll end up having another c-section anyway.

Did you all survive the time change? Nope. Ds was up at 4:30 Monday but I think it was a bad dream issue. Everyone was up for good at 5:15. Today was 5:30 so weβre slowly getting back on track to their usual 6 wake up time.

We survived. DD slept until 7:30am her time which was 6:30 our time. School is off today so she gets a fun day out with my mom. The Halloween hangover was much much worse than the time change thing.

She's working part time at Planned Parenthood. Plus this is the only OB practice that delivers at the hospital I gave birth in last time. I could switch to another hospital, find another OB, but that's all a crap shoot anyway. I did like the hospital and the staff there and I'm sure the other OBs at the practice are fine. I'm just bummed.
