cmb adorable! How are the boys with the baby? DD was so rough with her 7 month old cousin yesterday. It really scared me, Iβm hoping she gets better in 6.5 months. π¬

Does anyone know if the Target black friday doorbusters are for in store only or you can shop online? I don't have Redcard but have the Circle app. There are a couple toys I'm eyeing for the buy one get one 1/2 off and don't want to miss it.

I know walmart has theirs go on sale online at 10pm, but I'm really skeptical about it. I think Target is similar? You could try asking in the holiday deals thread on GD.

I got a bunch of ornaments from the angel tree this year so I went ham buying all the toys. I got so many good deals too, which is nice so they'll have more than one thing to open.

I had a nice Thanksgiving but am so happy to be home in my own bed and not sharing a room with my children. They slept fine but I was afraid to get up and pee in the middle of the night.
I took photos for our Christmas card while visiting and their individual ones are amazing. Dd is such a character. The photos of the two of them together are okay but not nearly as amazing as the singles.

sheilathetank, are there any dinosaurs that are higher quality but not quite Schleich level? I love Schleich animals but many of the dinosaurs are big and particularly pricey and I don't know that I'm ready to start down that path. He's been pretty into Dinosaur Train and I'd love to get a small basic set of decent quality.

Do you have Michael's craft store near you? Yes, do they have a good selection? They have Safari LTD brand, which can be pricey, but at Michaels you can use coupons on them when they are regularly priced. They are $8 a piece right now and they are buy one get one 50% off. www.michaels.com/figurines/prehistoric-animals/984963753#prefn1=brand&pmpt=qualifying&sz=24&start=0&prefv1=Safari%20LtdIt seems they are only available in store, but you can buy online and pick up in store. They're pretty good quality and should hold up. They also offer rarer dinosaurs so you aren't stuck with the basic four (Apatosaurus, t-rex, stegosaurus, and triceratops)

sheilathetank , also, are the sizes comparable between Safari LTD and Schleich? That's a hard question to answer. Some schleich i have are huge like over a foot long and some are 3-5". The quality is similar, just a step down. They are pretty sturdy and will hold up. These ones are 6-8" generally which is a good size. The toobs dinos are really small, about the size of my thumb. DD brings them everywhere. She chews on them. They go in the bath. They've held up. But since they are smaller, they don't have as much detail and I don't think they're hand painted.

It seems like Safari LTD size is more manageable. Now I can't decide between the regular T-rex and the Wild Safari version? I also need to hunt down a Pteranodon which Michael's doesn't have. But it's great that I can get them from there and use coupons in the future.

I know zero about dinosaurs so I'll have to learn as I go.

This Papo one has a 5" wingspan, so a little small, but a great price and Papo is considered better than Schleich. Their designs and painting is much more realistic. www.amazon.com/Papo-The-Dinosaur-Figure-Pteranodon/dp/B000GL1BHO

Wow that does look amazing. Don't go looking at their larger dino sizes though. You'll die of sticker shock.
