Love that bethers! Can I ask how much you paid? It's coming up as $236 Canadian, and that seems crazy expensive! Although I am pretty cheap!

So the dresser that matches the crib has just enough space for the changing pad on top. I can't do a bigger dresser because the only free wall is between two closets in the room. Will it be annoying to have to go into one of the top drawers to get supplies everytime we change a diaper? Should I look for shelves to put above the dresser so stuff is easier to grab? Teach me your diapering ways lol

I have my stuff in top of the dresser, but would not be annoyed by having it in the top drawers. Overhead could get tricky as the baby gets bigger. I'm probably in the minority, but we still use the changing table for DS, who is 2.5. He'd definitely grab for anything on a shelf / want to stand up to investigate. My most important advice - keep it organized and consistent. DNW anyone moving the butt paste when you need it in the middle of the night!

bethers thanks for the advice. I was thinking that about when the kid is bigger and grabbing things off the shelves.

I've got another question, what brand are those fleece baby booties that secure around the ankle so they don't kick them off?

The only time or place we have supplies at the ready is in the side of the pack and play for baby is itty bitty and we have the changing table and bassinet attachment clicked onto it. Everywhere else in our house they're tucked away in proximity to the area we do changes in.

I used the Keekaru changing pad. www.keekaroo.com/peanutdiaperchanger.html It is pricey, but so worth it because it is impermeable to liquids. We just kept it mostly downstairs when she was a baby since we were downstairs most of the time. Then we changed her on a blanket on the floor for MOTN when she slept in our room. We kept her diaper supplies in a caddy that was easy to take up and down the stairs. We never used a changing table in her nursery.

You could do a nice floating shelf with several woven baskets. Or another option is the Ikea rolling cart. A drawer below the changing pad wouldn't be bad.

I had some major nursery inspiration today so I put this collage together lol. I'm thinking this color will be better than the sea salt since I plan on using lots of aqua accents. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I think I've settled on Vintage Disney as the theme. Like, if this kid was born in the 1960s and I decorated the room with of the time aesthetics and Disney in mind.

I think we are going to switch rooms this weekend! I am excited to get things started, but sad for some reason. My little baby won't be the baby anymore

Work in progress for our tiny nursery. Sorry for the bad lighting, it was nighttime. Colors are soft pink, gray, and a mint. I was going to do a mermaid theme but found all this cute floral stuff at Hobby Lobby and next thing I know my cart was full! AnnPerkins , here is the pic ETA: I don't use the bumper until they are old enough, I just keep it in there until they start sleeping in the crib.

Could someone tell me (us) if HL is running a sale on their decor? I want a few things but don't want to pay for it at full price.

If you download the app you can see everything that's listed st 50% for the week. It also give you a barcode to get 40% off one full price item. 50% items rotate out weekly and your barcode should be good to use I believe once a week as things change.
