AnnPerkins, blabbermouth, thanks! She spent like 40 hours working on the quilt! She had a good time doing it, but it was a big project lol.

Um, yeah...here is the nursery. We moved the kids around last weekend. I need to order the crib. J is still in a crib, but he sleeps in our bed since the chemo affected his sleep. We need to sleep train.

The shop is called TinasTinkers. The deer and bear silhouettes are from a small shop in Hayward, Wi. The “EXPLORE” sign is from hobby lobby. It’s a pretty popular theme which I didn’t realize until I started shopping! There’s tons of stuff- I found sets of nursery bedding at target.com and BRU and there was a whole section of decor at hobby lobby.

It's ok you, half of all moms say that their baby will only sleep on them anyway, haha.

youMy newborns sleep in a cardboard box. I havent figured out what we're going to do when she outgrows it as DD1 will only be 18ish months and still in the crib.

The crib is built, the curtains have been hung, and the dresser is in place. Art and finishing touches will be added...eventually. DS's room wasn't finished until his due date, so I'm giving myself a similar grace period with this one. We found these records that will be hung somewhere in the room. I think we are going to use them as Christmas presents, though, because what do you get a 2 month old?

Okay finally got some pics! They're still a bit dark bc the weather continues to suck here. Also despite my new phone I'm still a crappy photographer. Crib with quilt made by my parent's neighbour and the mobile I crocheted. Chair with Ikea leaf, we decided we didn't like it over the crib. Cloud light and pillow from Ikea. Apparently beige wasn't a good idea, I thought it was best to pick the colour closest to spit up color haha. Dresser/changing area. And sunshine rug I crocheted.

I didn't want to start a whole thread for this but I need help please! TTMA about crib mattresses. We need to buy one and I am overwhelmed. The one we got for DS1 is awesome and has held up really well but it was $$$ and I'm not all about that life with #2. I would like to do a foam (but not memory foam) as I don't think the coils will be as comfortable or hold up as well. I would also like to spend around $80-100 if possible. Rather than just googling I thought I would reach out for real world advice.
So tell me what I should buy please!

They’re about 120 Cdn so within your price range. The plasticy covering on it does crack but DS is going on 3.5 Years with his and still going strong.

Target has a Serta one that I was looking at in our price range but I wasn't sure how well they held up. It is a well known name so I figured it can't be all that bad.

I looked at that one grumpycat . We are leaning towards the Target Sealy I mentioned above but I haven't ruled the soybean one out. I don't like the two sided feature of the Target one as much but might be willing to roll with it anyway.
