My uncle and his grandson went with me to pick up a nursing chair. I've been looking but didnt want to spend alot and didnt want to have to refinish or cover the cushions. I found this one on Facebook for $70 and its seriously immaculate. I dont think the woman even sat in it. My couch is so deep, if I end up with a c section, hell even normal recovery, itll be hard to get out of it. This will be so nice!

Slept in and went to Costco. We bought out the place...and then got home and we couldn't find puppy. Then there was a solid hour of searching for him and was eventually found under a toy in the basement. It felt like an hour of speed cleaning, only we just made everything worse and I'm equally as exhausted. It was life real life knuffle bunny book, we even searched the washer and dryer.
And now I'm doing a quiz, j has a Lego set out, and N is napping. May set up the sprinkler later since it's blazing again.

We’re on our way home from camping. I didn’t melt in the heat advisory and spent most of yesterday on a chair in the lake, so not a bad way to spend the day. The kids had a blast and slept in both mornings.
Heading to my sisters for dinner tonight and then hopefully early to bed for everyone.

I need a tiller. I can rent one for $80 but I think that’s a little high for 1 day. I guess I have to wait until C comes home to have him do it.

DNW dolls that pee, or cry. So pretty trtlcrzy! We went to the botanical gardens here recently and the roses were blooming and it was amazing...so many gorgeous varieties, and I loved reading the names. Made me want to start growing them!

Kids are completely packed up, I've gotten most of the house clean (you know, in case it gets broken into and the police come...don't want them or burglars judging our dirt! ) so tomorrow I just need to finish cleaning and pack for myself. We took the kids to Chipotle for lunch, then hit Dillard's for new shorts for DH. (Sidenote: will never again let DH drive at the mall; clearly he does not go as frequently as I do, seemingly completely forgets how to navigate a parking garage and attendant booth, etc. I felt like I was driving with a 90 year-old.)

Our city has fireworks tonight. They start at like 10:30 and we can watch them at the golf course that our subdivision backs up to. MH soooo wants to go. I soooo don't want to. Last year he just took C while I stayed home with the 2 little ones, PERFECT. Now MH really wants me to go to and called his parents over to watch whatever kids need to stay back.....

E didn’t nap so I didn’t get to clean that out. However I got 1/2 of the backyard prepped for planting grass. Mopped the living room/entry area and the downstairs bathroom. I also cleaned all 3 toilets. I the. Vacuumed the carpet in the living room. I want to mop the kitchen and dining area but I’m tired.

I’ve been so lazy all day. I did get a lot of laundry done and M helped me clean the kitchen. Other than that, we’ve been watching movies and the kids have been playing in the backyard. MH had to go in to work for a meeting, so I’ll have to venture out for dinner with the kids in tow in a bit. Probably takeout.

We didn’t end up going to a pool today. A little while ago I was outside watering my plants because it’s a million degrees outside and I heard a bunch of loud bangs. I thought it was fireworks but now I think it was someone in the country nearby shooting tannerite. I’m expecting fireworks pretty much all week. Although it’s supposed to be rainy off and on so it might not be as bad as usual.

I'm with you wineallthetime , I enjoy fireworks but not that late. And esp. not that late *with* kids. Maybe your ILs would like to go, lol. My parents' neighborhood does a nice set-up on the golf course and it usually starts around 8 (and there's a buffet and bar, music, stuff for the kids...perfect). The ones here involve the beaches and notoriously heinous traffic, so we haven't gone. We do sparklers when we're in Maine and you can usually count on other people around the lake shooting enough off to feel festive.

Seven days. That’s how long I can tolerate my child. I cannot wait to drop him off at camp tomorrow!

Luckily MH doesn't seem to be feeling it and cancelled his parents. C is still excited so leaving that up to MH. Guessing those two will still go. I'm sad cause I want to have all the fun moments with my kids, but not sad cause... all the other reasons.

I have never done fireworks in the city and def not starting this year bc it's been changed for the first time ever to be somehow a presidential event 🙄. We will go to my moms and see the parade and maybe walk to the end of her street to see her city's display. Last year we took j after n went to bed, but maybe this year we will keep her up. I think I may wfh Friday and let my mom watch the kids and sleep over.

I forgot my SM gave us their hammock and mh cleaned up the garage and hung it up. He hung it a bit low and I hit the ground when I sat in it, and had a good laugh, but now am quite relaxed watching the sunset👌. I should prob text mh to come spray me with bug spray

Our daytrip was fun. Now we're going to a friend's for dinner and the girls are going to play in the sprinkler.

Tuesday is our Town’s fireworks and it’s at the high school fields right behind my house. I’ve taken the kids early to bounce in the free bouncy castles that they set up, but we’ve never stayed for the fireworks. The fireworks start sometime after 9pm. I’ve watched them above the trees from our upstairs bathroom window in years past.
I think this year i might let the kids stay up for them. My neighbor is having a bbq and insists that we can see them fine from her yard without having to brave the crowds at the fields. Sounds much more my style.

We attempted the firework event last night. Tried to go 30 minutes before the fireworks and the cops had the streets blocked off about a half mile from the park. I thought M would be disappointed, but he wasn’t. Now we know for next year
