Hi everyone! I'm off work today and Monday so that is nice. I did a little cleaning this morning and we'll dye some eggs and hang out with my sister and her kids a bit. Sunday, we'll do church and Easter dinner at my parents'. marygracerich, V is starting to do cute stuff like your little man too (when you mentioned him wiping up with the towel)...we just think it is adorable when she does something like that! jessijean, that snow. No thank you!!! I'm hoping we don't get any more cold spells but May can even be iffy in the mid-Atlantic. Re: egg hunts. I can't believe how adults go crazy. Luckily, my mom sets up one at her house for the grandkids. Otherwise, I think I would just do one at my house.

We will do baskets and about 15 eggs hidden around the house for our girls in the morning. I splurged with our tax return and got pottery barn baskets this year. They will mean nothing to them but I will say they are pretty cute.
Then Brunch out with my moms side and hoping they nap at her house after that. My SiL is hosting dinner and doing a small egg hunt in the late afternoon.
Happy Easter all! 🐰

DD2 got diagnosed with the flu yesterday afternoon so I’m not sure about our Easter plans now. I’m off today and Monday and was hoping to catch up on some stuff but not sure that will happen! Luckily the ped said that the flu she’s seen recently has been mild so I’m hoping she’s better by Sunday.

We have Good a Friday service tonight at church & on Sunday we will do Easter service. Our small group is having dinner together on sunday & I am bringing a side so I have to bake that at some point. They will have an egg hunt for the little kids too.

Hi all! Finally having a chance to get on here and check in. sunfrogger was in my neck of the woods (seriously, she’s staying like 10 min away from me 😱) and we were able to meet up with our girls!! So much fun!! She’s as much of a doll in person as she is here and I’m so bummed we don’t permanently live near each other!! Our older girls were BFFs immediately H and O N and E O randomly lunged for me and made my day

Oh gosh sarahh I hope she gets better soon!! We're visiting family for the weekend. So that's been fun. amesie and I met up with our littles at a nearby park, (see above) and she's gorgeous inside and out just like here! I'm #moty and packed water but no snacks for the park 🤦🏼♀️ but she happily shared what she had brought which I am so thankful for! I'm so happy we were able to sneak in this little g2g! 😘 amesie also totally bummed we don't live closer together. But whenever we come up this way and I can sneak in g2g I'll def be sure to let you know!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Also even after all the snacks E and O completely killed their dinner. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ these kids are black holes 🙈🙈🙈

E had her 15 month check up today and hasn’t gained weight since 12 months. ☹️ She went down on her growth curves and is now at 12% for weight and 7% for height.
Doctor says she’s not concerned, that she may just be working on a developmental hurdle (walking) and that once she figures it out she’ll start gaining again. But we’re supposed to cut out night nursing and encourage fatty foods like whole milk yogurt (which we do.)
I know she’s probably fine - and seems healthy overall - but when the scale said 18lbs still my heart just sank.

If I'm being honest its still a nagging worry for 15mo. Hugs, momma!!! Its so hard to parent. You're doing all the right things.

bassa Henry has been less than 3% since birth in height and weight. The anxiety around it stinks. I love the np at my pediatricians who is always reassuring me he’s fine just petite.

With not being home E is concerned the Easter Bunny won't find us. Good thing the Easter Bunny and mommy are in cahoots. The Easter Bunny left Es balance bike at home though.

bassa we had almost the same percentiles drop. I think he is 6% now. He was just under 20lbs at 12 months and just over at 15 month. So he gained 4-6 oz or so. He is 60% for height and doesn't look too skinny to me. Idk. pedi isn't too concerned for now. Hopefully he has a growth spurt because he sure eats. He usually eats all or almost all his food at daycare and eats more than ds1 at home.

We did not do Easter baskets or the bunny or anything but we did get our annual family picture - I joke that it's about the only time each year we have someone take a photo of all 5 of us! Here are the girls before church this morning.

Ds2 was so funny in church yesterday. He would randomally decide to clap (our church is really easy going about kids and noise). DS1 loved that they baked cookies in Sunday school. We bought a tow behind bike trailer for DS2 and we were able to gin a family ride for the first time and both boys loved it.

I’m a few days late to see this but wanted to encourage you...my oldest was constantly below 10th percentile & basically didn’t gain any from 6-12mo. She was 16lb at her 1st birthday...by her 2nd she was about 22-3ish. She was also a late walker (16mo). Our doctor was never concerned & encouraged the same things yours did! I know it’s so stressful :/ but you’re doing everything right & im sure she will be just fine!!

Sorry, MIA again. I had a neurology check up last week. And while everything was fine, I gained weight, again. My doctors don't seem to be concerned even when I mention it. Just a general "summer will help".
I'm going to make a much more conscious effort at getting active and continue my increased water. I swear the weather REALLY impacts me. Yesterday was gloomy and all I wanted to do was sleep. This morning I was folding laundry before 8 am.
What will also help is my favorite coffee shop is on a road closed down for construction until late fall and their back entrance is so inconvenient I don't see me doing it often. Calories saved there, lol!

So I have some news (sorry jessijean, I know you've seen this) - I'm pregnant! I'll be 12 weeks on friday and got back my genetic testing results today. Low risk for everything and wait for it - it's another girl! I was convinced it was a boy but I guess not! I am still a little hesitant on being excited bc prior losses but am feeling a little better about everything since we got the genetic results!
