Hi all!
My mom got me pretty good.
She’s a dental hygienist and I had chipped my tooth a little bit. She asked I text her a photo so she could show the dentist. She responded that I needed root canal and I totally bought it. I was so angry! Then she said sent me a text that I only need a small fill and booked me an appointment 🤦🏻♀️

Happy April everyone!
I leave for a 5 day girl's trip Thursday and I'm sooo excited but also nervous about leaving DS that long! He's getting a bad cold so I'm especially worried.
But yay to drinks on the beach!!

Happy April!
My mom got me too, for a second. She sent an email to me and my siblings saying, “Just to keep you in the loop, Dad and I have decided to move back to (town they moved out of 3 years ago). We miss the neighborhood and no one uses our pool much anyway.” They’ve recently put a ton of work into their new house and had a miserable time selling before, so this would be stupid. I audibly gasped, then went “ohhhhhhhhhj. April 1st.”
In other news, H just left for Italy for the next 7 days. Wish me luck.

I can't believe it's April!
We kind of unexpectedly lost our childcare, so I sent in an application to a nanny agency. It's probably a bit premature, but I also started halfheartedly planning a trip to Disney in fall 2020 to celebrate my nursing school graduation! I figure it's good motivation for what is sure to be a very challenging year and a half.

I couldn’t book anything until a few months ago but I had an idea of timing and plans. It’s good to have motivation!

Hi!
I have been super busy. Between work, physical therapy, and trying to keep up with my house, I have been non stop on the go.
I joined ww because I am tired of my weight. I have lost about 7lbs in just under 2 weeks. I weigh in on Thursday’s so we will see what my second official weight is.

Good luck marygracerich! I started weight watchers a year ago and lost 65 lbs in about 9 months. I thought the program was easy to follow and I didn't feel deprived. Let me know if you have any questions on anything - the app, 0 point foods, whatever!

Let me know if you have any questions on anything - the app, 0 point foods, whatever! Thanks! I actually have done ww before. I had originally lost close to 50lbs on it. Then I had a wedding, honeymoon and two babies which sort of ruined all of that. I originally joined in 2013. The plan was different then. I actually find it easier now with so many 0pt foods and the connect feature on the app. I actually end up not using all of my pts every day. The only day I dipped into weeklies was on Sunday and at that point I had like 48 or 45 weeklies so it was no big deal. I had planned for it too.

I had lab work to check my thyroid this morning. I'm looking for "reasons" for my weight gain and exhaustion other than my depression and being lazy. I may have to give WW a chance. Something has to change. I recently increased my water by like 40+ ounces a day so I'm starting there to get on a healthier track.
I bought a time-stamped water bottle that also says "Drink your effing water". Since I bought that I have met all of the daily goals, even if I'm finishing it at 10 pm.

We are starting to plan a cruise for December or January with the grandparents and my siblings. Hopefully it will be a good mix of togetherness but we will all have our own cabins.

We are all finally healthy in my house!! I just finished a course of antibiotics for a sinus infection and something in my chest, and the girls are on antibiotics for ear infections after having nasty sickness the week before. But everyone is happy and healthy at the moment!! Thank god. That was a brutal couple weeks there

Thank you! I'm just so glad that is back. I stare at it a lot. We've never taken on a project like this ourselves before so it was crazy.

Let me know if you have any questions on anything - the app, 0 point foods, whatever! That’s amazing, way to go! I always liked the Weight Watchers program and had success a few times. I don’t know what the most recent program is like, but when they changed it to sugar items being extremely high in points, I stopped. I totally get the reasoning, but it didn’t work for me. Taste testing at work would ruin most days for me.

I haven’t been around much lately, work has been crazy overwhelming.
Any babies (I guess they are now toddlers!) saying many words yet? H is trying with all his might, but not quite there yet. He will occasionally say mama, dada and bye bye. But it’s definitely not consistent. Tons of babbling though.

cake we are mostly on 2 syllable sounds here. Mama, dada, baba, JoJo. She can do kind of a "thank you" sound. And she loves to squeaky babble at the cat 🤣 it's so adorable. ETA: How could I forget her favorite word?! "NO!"

cake, DD2 mainly signs "please" and "more." She can say mama but doesn't very often and says "tank to" for thank you. And "ma" for milk. So no really clear words here yet.

He says mama, dada, cat, good and tower pretty consistently. He is so close to saying more and done. He tries to get them out so much. Lol.

My kiddo is pretty advanced in his vocab and can say about 20 words. I would say 15 are to the point where others could understand it. My oldest was definitely not saying this many words at this age so don't compare your kiddo to this. We've got this, this, cheese, night night, hi etc. He's recently tryig to say Blipi (some of you will know that one) but has not said his brother's name. He has yet to say bye...it's always night night lol
He had his 15 mo checkup today and he's in the 97th% for weight and about the 71st for height.

Mine says mama, daddy, and uh-oh. I wish he would learn to say or sign eat. Ds1 learned that around this age and it was helpful. DS1 also called Blippi, Duh-buh for some reason for a long time.

T says mama, dada, uh oh and TT (our nickname for our cat) 😆
Both girls got diagnosed for Flu A yesterday and T has an ear infection on top of it. I really hope everyone continues to improve. They had flu shots so mostly only cold symptoms so far.

H has about 20 words now and is starting to put 2 words together even (more book, more pop). She is such a parrot and repeats (or at least attempts to repeat) everything. So different from my dd1 who we had in EI at 19months for speech. I think this is pretty advanced for 14months tho.
I wouldn’t be concerned yet with lack of speech. If there are zero words before 15/16months I would start to get a little worried and might consider a call to EI.

We are going to try to hit up Disney for a day or 2 this summer. My h is going OOT for 6 weeks soon and I seriously don’t know how I am not going to go insane while he’s gone. I already printed the free Museum days so we’ll def take advantage. Hopefully it won’t be raining so much so we can be pool bums some days.

DS has about 20 words too...my favorite is the way he says yellow, it's so cute. He is a little parrot and talking away, but still not walking more than a few steps. They all grow so differently!
