Update: they got pizza for the kids. But it's not a drop off party... so all the parents are ordering their own.

lahdeedah I hope you get some good news soon, I don’t know how you are standing it. I’m a wreck and mine is just a second home. T came home ready to pack. He thought we were moving out of our other house. He was very ok with that.

We made an offer. We found something we love, new construction, located at the exact beach we met on 21 years ago. Now the waiting starts. I love this! Crossing everything for you! |

Update: they got pizza for the kids. But it's not a drop off party... so all the parents are ordering their own. Most parents by me don’t care about eating during a kids bounce/venue party. When i had O’s party, i didn’t pay to have pizza for the parents. You weren’t allowed to bring in outside food otherwise i would have brought an appetizer. And i didn’t order the pizza because the pizza at those places is usually gross and when other parents buy for the adults i feel obligated to eat a piece when I’d much rather feed my kid and have wine and dinner with my H later on. |

Speaking of birthday confusion, DH's birthday is the day before my high school boyfriend's. My Mom argued with me for years every February that I had the date wrong because she still had my ex's date stuck in her head. She figured it out eventually. My sister’s birthday is March 20th, and mine is April 21st. Every single year, my mom gets confused thinking my sister’s is March 21st and mine is April 20th. |

Hi all.
Took Dude to the gym this morning. I met his BFF’s mom for Zumba (my dance class, as the boys call it). Poppy came, too. Dad and X had some solo time at Costco.
Not sure what the rest of the day holds. I’m so, so tired of all this rain.
Oh, and I started my period early. Fun.

You could use a kettle if you want to go old skool or a water cooker 😉. Haven’t owned a microwave in over 10 years. A kettle takes too long. I'm lazy AND impatient. Plus it's just something else to have around, that eventually needs washed. We are the same. |

I said I would send the text I typed by 330 if I hadn’t heard anything. She texted at 320 that she had news. Apparently they had word they were getting another offer and wanted to see. Must not have been better because they countered our offer and we accepted. We have a house!

klong11 the hot tub thing would bother me too. I’m paranoid but because of my job I know who is out there so I know I’m not too paranoid. It’s a reality that sex offenders live amongst us and we need to be vigilant. Does they mean we vilify every single older man who look at a kid, no. But I do think it’s important to go with your instincts and if it bothered you, that’s ok. I will say for me, C will probably be a teenager before he can go to a public bathroom alone.

I made chicken nachos for dinner and there is leftover chicken enough for 2 more meals. Perfect to have in the freezer for enchiladas or the next nacho night
