lemondrop, can they tell how baby is positioned? If baby is positioned well a vaginal birth might be able to happen even if he's large. I really think my problem was that she was sunny side up AND large. She is still 95the percentile for her age though! I wish I had the healthy outlook/mindset that you have! Baby getting here safely is absolutely most important. I had a lot of guilt about my first c section and put a lot of pressure on myself, which looking back was so unnecessary! Either birth option takes strength and determination. I'm glad we have c sections in today's world... both twins were breech and I can't imagine if this were hundreds of years ago.

Either birth option takes strength and determination. I'm glad we have c sections in today's world... both twins were breech and I can't imagine if this were hundreds of years ago. The midwife called it right posterior, I think? I need to check my notes. But mainly she was worried about the size of my pelvis vs the possible size of his head/ shoulders. I’m 5’2 on a good day with bigger hips and a small pelvic inlet. Last time he was measured at 33w, he was in the 83rd% and 6.1lbs which made the midwife nervous. If he’s over 90%, or around 4500g (9.9lbs?), that’s when they’ll suggest a scheduled c-section/ induction. Realistically I’d prefer a vaginal birth if only for the logistics - we don’t have family nearby, so being able to move easily is going to be important. Having major abdominal surgery sounds... less easy. But a 4th degree tear and a bunch of stitches isn’t going to make life any simpler if he is legitimately gigantic.

Is boiling bottle parts and nipples/pacis not a thing anymore? Why does all this seem new to me. Why is being a STM just as confusing as being a FTM to me lol.

We did big sister class for my DD (almost 4) today. She was so cute. It was adorable and makes me a little less nervous. Still nervous but I do think she’s overall excited, I’m still of course expecting jealousy but she was on it with all things baby today.

H has been so spitty today. But also wants to nurse constantly, the paci will not do. Hopefully he's getting it out if his system now and will sleep okay tonight 😬🤞

Did any of your babies shiver? That’s the best I can describe what she’s doing. It’s not all the time and I’ve been keeping her swaddled in blankets and she’s dressed and usually snuggling with me or MH but she will still do it. I add blankets but she’ll still do it. Normal?

remi my nephew did this when he was very new. I remember seeing it when I visited at the hospital and also when he was a week or 2 old. The drs and nurses said it was normal.
