I know this is baby #3, but I think we are going to try some birth classes this go round. I just want my H to be more present in the birthing process. He kind of freezes up and doesn't know how to handle me in pain and I'd rather have him than a doula.

Also, I just realized it's March now so we need to start a new thread!

They never did for me but I only tried them when I had HG so nothing worked. I think I maybe have borderline HG but because I was heavier to begin with, I never lose "enough" weight to qualify for the % my OB goes by to give me any good meds. fikafairy Whhaatt? Nausea medicine is weight-based? That sounds crazy to me.

Basically they were like it’s not a high enough % lost, you can still eat some things - although only crackers and bagels are not real food - and because I don’t get dehydrated, I don’t get the good meds. I have diclegis but they refused me zofran.

Do you think you'd have better luck with another doctor? Although, to be honest, Diclegis has been more effective than Zoloft for me, minus the time they put me on a Zoloft pump with HG.

They are fairly conservative, which is insane considering I have to do all this other crap in a few weeks to battle the blood issues we might have. For right now, even though it sucks, they are giving me all the other stuff I have asked for except the zofran. So 🤷♀️ I have another appt in 2 weeks, so I will ask again then.

I'm sorry you're experiencing such horrible m/s. I hope they give you something that helps because dealing with severe m/s is no joke.
