I went to yoga for the first time in like 3 weeks this morning. Iβll probably wait til around 18-20w to tell the instructor unless itβs too obvious before then lol. I just hate the extra attention you get and how people worry about you and such. Just treat me like a normal person.

Someone at work has a really stinky lunch and I'm about to die right now.

No worrying about us, trusted us to know our own bodies. Hopefully yours can chill!

Iβve been in the south my whole life (and now the southwest), so seeing others use βyβallβ makes me feel quite at home.
We had a play date with a new mom friend this morning and it went well. Making mom friends is definitely a lot like dating.

So even though I donβt really know my due date I have this loose idea of when we conceived and based on that, I am 22dpo and my kidβs heart just started beating today! Woo.
Wouldnβt it be cool if we could constantly watch these babies grow and see what develops every day?

Making mom friends is definitely a lot like dating. I'm originally from the southwest! We moved from there to the east coast about 4 years ago. I get so homesick randomly. And yay for a successful playdate! You are absolutely right about making mom friends. It's tough. When I had my first, I was so naive thinking it would be easy because, duh! We have kids in common! But it didn't take long to realize how wrong I was haha

I have this book called The Pregnant Body Book by DK and it is super detailed/scientific and so cool!

randomosity right?! Who knew weβd have to have things in common outside of our kids?! Making friends as an adult takes a lot more work than it did as a kid. Where in the SW were you, if you donβt mind me asking?

Coffee tastes bad today I knew this day was coming soon, but I had hoped I could hold off until the nausea and puking actually started. I'm staring at a beautiful cup of coffee that smells and tastes WRONG and it's making me sad!

I've been struggling with coffee too. I've started drinking cappuccinos, but my son is asleep in our hallway so I didn't want to wake him so I'm settling for espresso. It's hard to drink.

I go back and forth between coffee and tea. Coffee hasn't been as appealing but it's hard not to get that caffeine in the morning.

I typically move over to black tea once I can no longer stomach coffee. I drank English breakfast in the past and have Irish breakfast now. Coffee isnβt sitting right today so weβll see how long I can hold out.

I usually give up caffeine all together when pregnant and this time around has been so much harder. I know I can have some, I just choose not. So tired all the time!!!

Seems counterintuitive, but take a Benadryl or unisom at night. The more soundly you sleep at night, the easier it is during the day

And I hear that. The last bit of summer we spent in Vegas was one of the hottest on record and we couldnt wait to get out at that point! The heat is freaking brutal and I know it gets even hotter in AZ. But the winters are so nice.

It's easy to give up coffee when you never drink it. π I'm in the "if I eat something I feel better" camp right now. Pass the carbs and cheese please!

My nausea is starting to kick in too, and constant snacking makes me feel better. I gained lbs 70 with my first and about 50 with my second and am already overweight so would love to keep this one down to 30/40 at the most if possible. What can I snack on constantly to relieve nausea that will add no calories? π

Wtf body...

I'm also in the same boat. I have to eat constantly but nothing is sounding good. If something pops into my head and I don't want to throw up thinking about it, I try to track it down in the vending machines or store. But usually by then I'm not in the mood again. It's super fun. No idea what I'll do for lunch today.
