I have a baby in there! (Just one!)
Measuring 7 weeks 1 day which puts my due date at October 7.
Heartbeat was 149.
And they found a small SCH which explains the bleeding. At least I know the source. They said to take it easy so it could heal.
Now I’m sitting for the 1 hour glucose.
Thank you guys so much for the good thoughts and well wishes.

I forgot to mention I also have a corpus luteum cyst—I don’t remember having this with my girls. Anyone else?

I know the majority of you ladies are STM or more, in your previous pregnancies when did you start to moisturize your belly? Did it help with stretch marks? I know it’s generally believed that it’s all genetic and if you’re going to get them, it’s going to happen no matter what, but I wanted to at least try to minimize them if I can 😂 Any anecdotes? Advice?

Advice? It didn’t help me at all with the visibility/appearance aspect. It did help with the itching, though. It was somewhere in 2nd tri I started. If you do get them, they do fade with time

peggyhill, I lubed up from pretty early on the first go-round. It is pretty much genetics, but it made me feel better about it. ha! I used Burt's Bees belly butter? I think that was the name, it's been 6 years, I'm lost right now. All that to say, I ended up with more on my boobs than my stomach and it never hurts to moisturize.

moonandback141 yay for a great u/s! But boo for having a SCH (although I'm glad, in a way, that that's what it is?). I'm sure that's a huge relief but hopefully the SCH doesn't give you much trouble moving forward

I think I used a moisturizing cream to combat itching, probably starting in 2nd tri? My boobs definitely got more stretch marks than my stomach. My first pregnancy I went from an A cup to C, and then with the engorgement while breastfeeding my boobs really took a beating. They’re so sad now.

peggyhill I started in 2nd tri as well. First kid—no stretch marks. Second kid—stretch marks. Shruggy guy face. But they did fade.

I forgot to mention I also have a corpus luteum cyst—I don’t remember having this with my girls. Anyone else? Yay to your wonderful news! I thought you had to have a corpus luteum cyst and that it helped produce hormones and went away once the placenta was fully developed, but I could be wrong. I think they can vary in size and sometimes hurt, but I thought it was generally a good thing.

peggyhill I started in 2nd trimester when my skin was hurting but it didn't help with stretch marks

I don’t think them being diagnosed this early is common 🤷🏼♀️ at least, I’ve never had it mentioned before 12 weeks 🤷🏼♀️

moonandback141 Such great news! peggyhill - Stretch marks are almost completely genetic. That said, I still put Palmer's cocoa butter lotion on my stomach when I had a true bump (22ish weeks) and whenever I could remember post partum. Which was sporadic. They are completely gone from my first pregnancy, though, so there's hope they will fade!

Thank you everybody! That’s helpful to know that they do fade even if they do show up!😊

I think that when I take my prenatal, my m/s kicks it up a few notches. What an ironic link...
And also, why do they make Zofran a disgusting dissolvable tablet? Like, whose bright idea was that?

I’m so tired.
I had my official intake today. They drew blood which is going to result in a shit show because they gave me a rhogam in January. I have to do a viability check in two weeks- she’s optimistic but wants to double check cardiac activity since it was on the low end of normal at my 6w scan (though the fact that there was any at all is a good thing...)
Panorama draw will be in 4w 😬😬 I declined the NT scan since panorama tests for the same stuff and more, anyway.
I get to put off going to the MFM until 18w. Yes!!

So, brown spotting isn't always necessarily bad, right? I just went to the bathroom and wiped away blood...trying not to freak out. I know I've spotted with my 3rd, right around this time in pregnancy, and all was fine but as many of you ladies know, it's always jarring to see. Ugh.

((Hugs)) been living this for the last two weeks. I know it’s common (I read through pages and pages of message board posts on a Google search that made me feel a little better...don’t Google image though..yikes.) When I told the tech about the spotting and she found the SCH, she said, “Oh that’s probably causing it—but a lot of the time we never find the source.” FX it stops. When did it stop with your third? (Almost used his name and then remembered we weren’t on O15

I’ve actually had the rhogam each time before bloodwork but apparently there’s like a distinction they can easily tell it’s rhogam and not sensitized blood bc I remember asking about that.

I remember asking my OB with DS1 if they could test for sensitization (because I’m a paranoid person) and being told they could not because of the shot 🤷🏼♀️
