We're surviving the crazy cold. I'm slowly still working on my kitchen purge and generally trying to get my house in order. DD is continuing to only take 45 minute naps. Really, there's nothing very exciting going on here!

Dd1 just excitedly was showing me her hands when I got her up from her nap. You can probably guess what was on them... So nasty! Thankfully she didn't get it everywhere but yuck yuck yuck!

We survived a week without the H. He gets back tonight around 2 am. M is spending the night at my moms and will be home in the morning before swim lessons. P is passed out on me and my house is sooo quiet.

Trying to go to a Pre-K open house today. It's my first choice because it is amazing! It's a lottery so it's just the luck of the draw but it's free. It's a Reggio Emelia based.
It's also Super Bowl weekend and it's insane here!!! Celebrities are being spotted left and right and the traffic is even worse than the normal shit show. We might go to the small airport playground to watch all the private jets come in later today.
Little guy has been soooo needy lately. This teething nonsense is awful for him and my nipples.

pixiepink24 I keep saying I want to take DD1 to one of our small airports. I think it would just be something cool to do. I’ve been crazy busy with work and trying to parent two around H’s work schedule. Things slow down for him in a bit so that will be a huge help.

It got down to -10° here the other day. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 46°. This weather is outta control!

We got a belly to back roll today! DD has no interest in trying to roll back to belly though because she doesn't like to be on her belly at this point.

My LO goes to the children’s hospital tomorrow for a sedated echo which means
I have to cut him off from eating at 2:30am. I am not looking forward to the hour drive tomorrow with a cranky hungry baby who already hates his car seat.

So happy this morning!!  Work ruins everything though. It's month-end so we're super busy and it's killing my excited buzz from last night. I would have LOVED to have gone to the parade - I've never made one and would love to at some point - but I can never take off a month-end day for something like that. |

My kids are now 2 for 2 in their first Super Bowls resulting in a Patriots win. My family and Pats fan friends keep saying we need to have more kids now lol.

Went to a lactation consultant visit on Saturday because I was trying to figure out pumping and my oversupply a couple of weeks ago when I made the appt. I've pretty much figured that out at this point, but I went anyway for a check-in and it was actually a really insightful appointment! Caleb's always been a snacker and wants to eat every couple of hours or more when I'm home. I figured this was in part because he gets some decent stretches of sleep (3-4 hour nap in the afternoon and a 5 hour stretch at night), but he took less than 2 oz in a weighted feed, which is weird because I definitely have enough milk according to how much I get when I pump. J said he also snacks on his bottles and only takes a couple of oz at a time. So the LC thinks he has reflux despite hardly ever spitting up and possible issues from a posterior tongue tie. He's been fussy at the beginning of a feed recently except at night and I thought it was my letdown, but she said that's classic for reflux babies. He's 8th percentile as of his weight on Saturday, (he was 9th percentile at his 2 month visit), so now I'm wondering if he's getting enough. Told J to try to offer bottles more frequently today and see if he takes a little more during the day. He's been taking maybe 12 oz while I'm gone at work for 10+ hours. Also going to start him back on the probiotics that I dropped off of giving him because I wasn't sure if they were doing anything and trying some new nursing positions.

We are leaving his echo now, the cardiologist came to see us real quick he said he hasn’t looked at the pictures yet but he needs to verify that the need for surgery is there. So maybe he won’t need it, I have no idea now but I really need a straight forward answer.

Dramaphile glad you had a good appt with the LC. My DD is a snacker too. I'm not sure if it's really her 'choice' necessarily or because I just offer her the breast a lot throughout the day, but she eats/snacks every couple of hours during the day too. meggriffin I hope you get some solid answers soon.
