lemondrop- DS1 was 7 lb 5 oz and didnt grow super fast. He was in NB diapers and clothes for 2 months. So for DS2 I bought a couple of new NB sleepers and he came put at 9 pounds. I stuffed him in each of the new things I bought once and that was it. Thank goodness for being team green so I didnt go buy all of the cutest stuff in NB sizes. This time I bought a couple new neutral outfits but I'm not washing them! They are hanging in the closet with the tags and receipt.

Thanks pambee and photomama2013! All good info to have. Taping the receipt to the diaper box is a great idea, too! I was reading another forum that said that boys often do better in Huggies and girls in Pampers, but you know how anecdotes are.

Pampers and Luvs are both made by Proctor and Gamble. We also used luvs on occasion and didnt mind them.

Did my GD test on Saturday and found out I failed it by 6 points. WEEEEEEEE. I'm so upset by it. Hopefully will be getting the order so I can do it while I work tomorrow instead of having to come in on my day off. (I work in a doctors office with a lab in the building) I failed mine too. I just found out today. I have the 3 hour on Saturday.

I just got a free double stroller that seems to be in great shape! It was on the curb in my neighbourhood on my way to pick up DD from preschool. I wasn’t going to buy one but for the price of free, hell yeah!

I had looked into that option but didn’t want to pay for a $$$ stroller when we only really get to use it on occasion. The people had loved it so much that they bought a new one as they had a young toddler and about to have a second baby.

Apparently I can add a kick board to this baby, so if you see a jacked lady with a bright green stroller and 3 kids on board, it me!

Omg, has anyone watched One More Shot? I didn't do IVF , but I did try and fail to get pregnant and stay pregnant. Holy shit. It was great and I felt for the lady so much. Highly recommend if you are ready for a cry. It ends well.

Yogurt Where can I find this One More Shot? I made some good progress on the nursery this weekend. A lot of it was just putting up boxes of clothes on shelves and rearranging storage. It’s tough saving 4 years of clothes and toys in anticipation of baby 2. I’m sooo ready to get rid of stuff and then H goes and says he wants a 3rd kid 🙀 At least it would be a boy and I could get rid of some clothes?

Thanks for the suggestion Yogurt. We didn't do IVF but I know the struggle of wondering if we would ever be able to have another child after 2 m/c. I'm so glad to see people talking about these struggles so openly. It's so common yet I felt alone (except for this place).

jacks we also went through clothes this weekend, pulled out neutral stuff to keep, set aside good stuff to sell, and what to recycle (stained clothes, etc.) I really wish we would've got DD more green, orange, gray etc. stuff. Especially bigger stuff like winter coats and buntings. It's all pink/purple! Also, every holiday shirt (Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving) for the first year will probably be totally off in size. They will be March and DD was Sept so exactly half a year off/opposite seasons. Oh well.

Has another here had a planned c section? With my first, I went into labor naturally and already had an epidural in place, so I think they just tapped that? I honestly don't remember, but the whole thing was a little traumatic.
Just wondering what they will do the morning of. Is a spinal different than an epidural? I remember it being... not fun... but I was just so happy to have some sweet relief. I'm sure they'll put in an IV too? For some reason, I'm already freaking myself out about this.

I have to stop reading the blinds about the Royals here and on other forum, because everyone giving MM a hard time because of her touching her baby bump are making me feel really defensive. I touch my bump ALL THE TIME. It took me a loooong time to get pregnant and I lovelovelove being able to reach down and feel the physical reminder that I'm pregnant. I mentioned this to a friend IRL who is one of the complainers and she was all, "but we don't mean people like youuuuu". Uh huh.

I remember it being... not fun... but I was just so happy to have some sweet relief. I'm sure they'll put in an IV too? For some reason, I'm already freaking myself out about this. I had a SCS with E. I showed up, I think I got the IV before I was wheeled into the OR, along with signing a bunch of papers and waiting around for my doctor to show up (we had to arrive about 2 hours early). I changed into my gown, put my bag into a locker, and mostly talked to MH and the nurses and played on my phone. They normally would shave the area of the incision at that point too, but I was very FTM and had shaved the night before (lol). They gave me the spinal after I was in the OR and before they would let MH in (he was getting gowned and said they do it before they're in there because some people freak out seeing a big needle going into their spouse's spine, lol). I won't lie, getting the spinal without him there was kind of scary in a way, just because I felt like I wanted him there, but I don't remember it hurting. Just a pinching feeling. The nurse held onto me from the front to make sure I stayed still and didn't feel alone and then just helped me lie down. Then pretty much everyone was in the room prepping, introducing themselves, MH sat by my head and they tested my numbness and began. Tip, I got very nauseous during the surgery and waited until right before I threw up to say something. After that they gave me zofran via the IV and I felt better immediately, so if you happen to feel that way speak up ASAP! It's not particularly fun puking into a small bowl someone holds next to your head, lol. If you have any other specific questions, let me know!

Eames I had a scheduled CS too and my experience was very similar to pambee - I had the IV and was hooked up to a monitor for awhile before, actually longer than they planned. My 2pm surgery time got bumped twice due to emergency CSs. MH couldn’t come into the OR until my spinal was done. It ended up not being as scary as I thought, my OR nurses were amazing about making me feel at ease. If we’re being honest, the CS was the easiest part of having a baby.

Thank you @ges and pambee. That is helpful to hear. Mine is scheduled for 6 am, and we need to arrive at 4 am. 😮 Hopefully I will be able to get a little rest the night before, probably will be too excited though. I have the same issue before early flights/vacations (i.e., afraid I will miss it and oversleep!)

Well, I feel dumb now. I called my OB and talked to the nurse about this vein in my leg (like upppppper thigh, can’t show anyone because too personal, you know?) that was trying to escape my body. And she’s like, that’s a varicose vein and very common symptom.
Well I knew that, but I guess I didn’t know what a varicose vein was or looked like. Google images has confirmed.
Now I have a bizarre random pain in my leg when I walk and basically I think paid maternity leave should start at 3rd trimester.

This baby that I am growing decided that yesterday was a good day to start dropping. All day I had severe lightning crotch and I could feel the baby's head wiggling all around.
We were running errands in a city about an hour away. When we got home I couldn't get out of the car. My pelvis hurt so bad. I went to bed super early and woke up late this morning, but didnt sleep well from the discomfort of baby. I have a side by side bump picture from the 9th and then yesterday, so only 4 days apart, that's crazy to see the difference. My boys never did this! Especially not this early (33w2d today).

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting the yellow stains out of packed away clothing? Some of my favorites are stained presumably from spit up or milk. They weren't stained when I packed them away.

I had the worst heartburn last night, and it's continuing today. I just drank a glass of milk with lunch (like a kid), but I think it helped. I also need to slam some Tums...
I've never had it quite like that last night, like almost painful (usually just annoying).
