Did someone post a list of the random baby things to buy, or am I imagining that? I might be confusing this with the hospital bag list, but I was trying to start a list of all the little random things I need to buy still. Maybe someone did? Because I almost posted a thread of a to do list and or to buy list to just compare and make sure I’m not missing anything lol.

We have to re home our dog this weekend too and that’s killing me so I’m sure I’m just extra all up in my feels this week. She’s bitten my daughter twice. And hasn’t for a year but snarls every single time she touches her. MH is very nervous to bring a baby home with her like this so we found a family with no young children and very eager for her to train her etc. I feel so so bad.

I don't remember where though....lol

Aw I'm sorry, that has to be a hard decision to make. It's great that you were able to find a new home that will be more suitable for her though ❤ Is it someone you know that maybe you could visit in the future?

nmom here is my list, I made it when I was somewhat less addled by baby brain: Bibs Receiving blankets Muslin blankets Knit blankets Swaddle wraps Lovies Moby wrap Swing/bouncer Burp cloths Baby towels Crib sheets Bottle nipples Size 1 Bottle nipples Size 2 Baby nail clippers Pacifiers Baby wash Bottle drying rack Bottle brush Diapers nmom I feel like I don't need much either (and therefore will be sending MH out on many midnight shopping trips when I realize what all I do need, lol) but making sure I have enough things like waterproof mattress covers (most we used with E were ripped somehow), a hamper for his room, refills for the nose Frieda, diaper rash cream, new pacifiers, diaper pail refill bags, bm storage bags, humidifier for his room, monthly stickers (for pictures, because I'm going to try to remember to be that mom again, lol)... That's what I have on the top of my head! We don’t do family names. But I wouldn’t hesitate to go non family bam did my first did have a family name. We are set with our name and now I’m starting to second guess it😳 Anyone find a basic list of baby needs for a STM who has forgotten everything apparently. I feel like the nursery is all ready... I had a girl the first time so I have newborn and 3mo clothes bought for this baby not too many but I try not to overdue it on clothes so very basic there a few packs of onesies and sleepers. But I have a list like bottle nipples pump parts breast milk storage and now I’m like this sounds too easy I must be missing stuff lol I loved those steam bags. jacks it was in this thread! Around post 222 or something. I tried to quote the responses to the question to make it easier, I hope I didn't miss any...

Recommended from a coworker of my husbands who works with rescues often etc. I’m really worried about how my 3.5 yr old will take it. I just ordered her a stuffed animal that looks like it. I think this home will be great I’m hoping at least. The new owner promised to keep in touch send pictures I’m sure would be open to a visit but I’m not sure. She promised to call us if something goes wrong like if she snarls with them and they can’t keep her. Then we’ll take her back 😬 Absolutely the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.

That's good they're willing to keep communication open. I imagine it'll be hard for your toddler for a while, but I bet pictures will help! Not to mention a new baby arriving soon to distract

Thanks everyone! Thankfully it is almost 60 here today, so I’ve got my windows open, and I’m airing out the house.
The dog is airing out in the outside kennel, and H is picking up some deskunk at the store today so we can wash her again. I hope the smell goes away ASAP!

Sorry you had to rehome your dog nmom! That’s so tough. I’m glad your urine test and BP were ok. I hope you pass your 3 hour glucose test and that your BP stays down.

Yeah it’s super gross. I’m definitely feeling a little nauseated. The smell is better after scrubbing her down with the deskunk. We will probably have to scrub her again tomorrow. It’s really just her face, but we are having trouble scrubbing around her mouth and eyes enough without getting it in her eyes to get the stink out.

nmom I’m glad your appointment went well today. I’m sure your nurse understood. And so sorry about having to re-home your pup. I hope the new home works out great.
