I actually don't love Target that much. I only go there maybe once every other month and I don't find I need it more often than that. Their grocery section is less than desirable--few options and mediocre produce. I'm loyal to my Kirkland brand TP. I buy toiletries and cleaner there when I need it. I love their Cat & Jack kids clothes. I mostly buy other household items/electronics/toys on Amazon. They have a good selection of water bottles.
Re: Kohl's I mostly go there for bras when I have Kohl's cash. Sometimes I find clothes for myself, but unless it's on sale with an extra % off coupon it's overpriced. They usually have adorable Disney girls clothes, but same thing about being on sale a necessity.

Kohls is way overwhelming. Typically I only buy Nike shoes from there because I can usually find them cheap. I did like them for some maternity basics.

inthekitty we only buy Kirkland tp too. It’s the best Re Kohl’s I like the jumping beans brand that I think it specific to them and when they have sales going on I often find the prices to be good

nam2013 target is my happy place. S too, he loves going there with me. But I feel like the giant box store like that is overwhelming if it’s not what you’re used to and you might not love it like we do I loooove stores/supermarkets on vacation, & love a big Walmart, so I think I’ll like this too. I intend to bring very few clothes for the kids, so I can buy new things 😱. If you like Walmart, you will be in heaven in Target. Unless the general chaos of Walmart..(at least the one's I've been in lately) is what appeals to you If you make it far enough south you must visit a Publix! I've heard Wegman's up north is comparable so that can be your backup, ha.

To me, Publix was similar to our local Stop and Shop (where i shop) or ShopRite. Wegmans was more like a Fairway of a very big Whole Foods. Edit: i should also add that here where i live, people freaked out when it was announced a Wegmans was opening. It was overly hyped imo but it has a serious cult following over here.

And see, the only Wegman's I've been in was pretty rough. it was one of, if not THE, original store in Rochester and was very unimpressive to me. I've never been in a rough or unattractive Publix, but the newer Publix stores are truly amazing. I also think what attracts people to Publix is the customer service; I have yet to shop at any grocery store where the employees are consistently so pleasant, helpful, etc. eta: There is a Wegman's opening here this winter so I will see for myself shortly!

It is always pleasant and clean. It was a completely stress-less during the holidays, and the customer service is so helpful. Yesterday, in fact, Charlie tossed a dozen and half eggs from the big part of the cart to the small part (sending at least 8 over the edge). The produce manager cleared up, offered to to get the kids a piece of fruit and get me another cart and carton on eggs. Im now a lifer there. ETA: whoops , in the box

Hodgepodge isn’t our house, but I doubt anyone would describe it as cohesive, either. There’s just too much kids stuff everywhere to notice that our dining set, entertainment stand, and china cabinet actually do match under all that stuff.

MH keeps saying Kroger is just as good, but I’m #loyal. Lol.
