YES. I can confidently say yes they do. How many times have i heard ‘MOM I’m looking for that ONE piece’ and it turns out to be the size of a needle head. 😐 fml.

It’s wet and miserable looking here, too. It’s been raining since Wednesday night. I’m at work and if all goes well I get to leave early to head down to my parents. I miss the kids, but wish I had one more night to accomplish some things. I had pho last night and bummed around until 930 when I had to pack. Much needed down time.

My hair is so gross if I do that...even with dry shampoo.  Maybe I don't know how to style it well, but because of how thin it is, it just looks terrible the second day.  But I could try it.

I am also massaging coconut oil into my scalp nightly, since I use that to remove my eye makeup, I just use whatever is left on my hands and rub it into my scalp.

Coconut oil is great for your hair, but won’t do enough to moisturize really dry skin. It can clog your pores, too, and you wouldn’t want that anywhere but especially not on your scalp.

I get this problem right at my hairline but it’s definitely not dandruff (at least in my case). I use Cerave and that usually takes care of it pretty quickly. If you want to use an oil, I would try baobab or argan, which would be great for both hair and skin.

Do you have hard water? Ours is terrible and it really does a number on my hair and skin so I use a filter on the showerhead and that makes a huge difference. The one we buy is Johnathan Product Beauty Hard Water Filter. It lasts us about 6 months before we need to change the filter.

Morning. Mh woke up to MY alarm to get in the shower and then didn't make sure I got in after him...so I am home with both kids. Not worth running around to go in for a short day. Work should wrap up shortly and may do a Goodwill run and a Costco trip. We are hosting a bunch of people tomorrow and legit have nothing planned for dinner. Maybe salmon, rice, and veggies? Or a taco bar or something? This could get interesting..

S slept in today, which never happens. Then was super whiny and crying easily. I took her temp and it was normal. 30 minutes later I see her laying on the couch and her whole body is shuddering. Take her temp again and it’s 100.9. She’s now asleep on the couch. Looks like we will be staying home today.

Drink tonic water. I don't know why it works, but it does. I had a twitch that lasted for what had to have been over a month, I read about tonic water and decided to try it. The twitch stopped by the next day.

cagoldi this might be a dumb question, but do you have a water softener and the filter or just the filter? We have a softener, but I feel like the water still does a number in my hair.

H had an ear infection. I picked up his amoxicillin, dosed him, and dropped him off at daycare. He was acting pretty normal so no reason not to go in my books. I’m quick trying to get some work done before our lunch at noon. Then I’m off till January. But I’m sure I’ll still be checking emails daily.

Just the filter. I’d love a softener, too, but Pete refuses to get one.

I definitely notice a big difference with the shower head filter because my hair starts to feel like straw and my skin gets tight and itchy, plus my KP acts up more, when it’s time to change the filter.

We have hard water but haven’t gotten a water softener yet. Maybe that’s why my hair is thinning and brittle. I usually blame the hard water on why i can never get stains out of clothes.

I had so much fun at our girls night last night. We were literally laughing our asses off... I’m sure the rest of the restaurant food is delightful. All the kids have weird half day schedules today and dh is predicting he will be stuck late at work so I’m planning on throwing chicken nuggets at them and then hunkering down with Christmas movies.

I also have a thing today. I’m not ready to talk about it yet, but I’m nervous and don’t really know what to expect. If you could throw some good and calming vibes into the universe for me I would I appreciate it. (Nothing scary, the kids and I are all fine!)
