Morning Ladies! Bea actually STTN for the first time since before Thanksgiving. Hallelujah! I feel like a new woman.
I have to run to the store today for a few straggler gifts and some marshmallows for "hot chocolate marshmallow toss" at my kids school today. I love the holiday parties, but I am ready to not have any more things to check off my list and just relax and enjoy my Christmas.
Also, in other news...remember how I ordered 2 coats during the j. Crew sale in the hopes that one would work out and I could just return the other one? Well, they both fit and I love them both. Oops.

flamingo we want see the end result!!! Btw don’t all Lego builds include those teeny tiny pieces? That's the kicker, it's just all these little individual things...sleighs and ice cream vendors and lamp-posts and snowmobiles! lol. I don't feel like I'm accomplishing anything. Yes, I realize that all Lego sets include the tiny pieces, but 1) there are no larger pieces to break it up...these have all been absolutely miniscule. And 2) it's the act of doing it every single day, for a month, first thing in the morning. I just hate it so much, lol. d I also realize I'm probably being incredibly irrational. |

Morning. I stayed home today. Feel like crap. I hope the antibiotics and steroids the dr gave me yesterday start doing their job.
Z’s bday party is tomorrow. I almost want to call up my friends and see if they can do Sunday instead so i can get better but i don’t want to confuse people if some can and some can’t.

dapostrophe Glad you found some winners! I feel like if any climate can justify having multiple winter coats, it's yours! By the time I saw their sale my size was gone in basically everything :/ I have shorter jackets/peacoats and a knee-length dress coat, so I want something kind of in between. Cadence is missing her school party. She woke up at 2 and threw up in her bed. Got all that cleaned up and she woke up again, I think around 5 and made it to the bathroom to throw up. Then again at 6:25, then again while I was in the shower. Soooo, girl has a stomach bug. She said she could still go to school though, because 2 of her friends at school threw up and still got to go to school that day. Um, no, that's probably why you are vomiting now and we aren't going to continue spreading it to your classmates.
So mh gets to spend at least 1 day of his 2 week+ vacation time caring for a sick child.
I stopped at the dc on my way to work to drop off the sandwich ingredients I had signed up for for their party as well as the class gift and classmates gifts and teacher gifts. Everyone was sad that she was going to have to miss the party.

Morning. It's my last day in the office until the 27th, so even the rain can't bring me down. I have a lot to do so the day should fly by, which is good because I want to check in with Colin. He was really mopey this morning, saying he was afraid A (his best friend) was going to invite P (C's "girlfriend") to sit with him at the peanut-free table at lunch today. Colin sits there with A everyday so I'm not sure what's driving this and if he's more upset at the idea of not sitting with A or the idea of A and P getting closer. It's so hard to tell and I'm not going to lead the witness.
Anyhow I'm still sick but at least I feel better, even if I still sound awful. I took a couple days off from running after a couple days of short, treadmill runs, so my cough doesn't seem to have made it into my lungs. That's something to celebrate!

mwhip Sounds like we have the same hair, in the past the only thing that’s worked for me is the shampoo called ‘Phyto PHYTOCEDRAT’ i just checked and it is on Amazon, it helps my scalp without making my hair greasy looking.
