I think I’m taking Josie to get a haircut today, not much length off, but enough to give it the fresh cut look.
I’m finalizing my shopping list for Christmas dinner, so I’d like to get to Aldi and the Big Y to pick up a few things, if the kids will indulge me. I’m thinking I can bribe them with Wendy’s for lunch. Tomorrow when Josie has school (her last day for the year), I will try to make it to Whole
Foods.

MH asked me to pick up a horrible holiday sweater for a school wide contest today, so I did over weekend. Now he’s too anxious to wear it at work, and doesn’t understand why I am annoyed that he took off the tags and threw them away. He’d like me to be focused on his anxiety, and I’d like to be focused on having that $25 to buy more things.

We've been playing this morning and the boys finally wanted breakfast. We're headed to the grocery and lunch soon then M has his 5 year check up. His doctor is by the good library so we'll go there after.

Morning ladies! Glad you're feeling a little better this morning flamingo! I finished the santa shopping last night, now to wrap everything. I'm off Friday afternoon, so I guess I'll do Evie's and H's then. I still need to get a few gift cards and alcohol, but I think we are pretty much done. I hope everything I have ordered shows up on time, but based off lack of shipping notice, it's doubtful. |

The cats are terrors and now that the ornaments are all out of reach they have decided to rip open presents. I am not amused. Luckily, my child doesn't seem to realize she can probably find out what she has under the tree if she just looks. Instead, she says we'll just open the ripped ones first on Christmas.
I also slammed my finger in the car door this morning.

Morning Ladies, Bea was up again coughing for two hours from 3:30-5:30 this morning. I feel so bad for her, but there is not much we can do. We already tried the steroid, and I have a cool mist humidifier running constantly, but she just can't seem to kick this thing.
I was hoping to knock out 6 quiches and 4 more batches of cookies this morning. I want to get ahead on my NY cooking, and also bring some food to a neighbor who's brother just passed away. I need to start giving away all these baked goods.
I made the good Bialetti coffee this morning to give me a boost, gonna need it 😴

Morning! Hope you were able to get that tiger, cagoldi! Feeling any better, flamingo? Happy day to the rest of you! So were spared having to run around everywhere in search of that huge tiger! Last night, we took the kids to IHOP for Grinchmas pancakes and Who hot chocolate, then to the mall. As we were leaving, we were walking through Macy’s to get to the car and Atticus spotted a “baby tiger” and decided Santa should bring him that one instead because it will fit in his bed. Whew. |

The preschool just called, they'll have an opening in the toddler's class starting in January and wondered if we were interested in a 2nd day for C. Um, yes, where do I sign?
She's actually super easy to have home with me, I just hate having only Mondays b/c there are so many Monday holidays. And I think she genuinely loves going. So she will do M/Th now.

flamingo , yay! Moooore preschool! cagoldi glad the tiger issue is resolved! I don't know if it would make it in time, but I keep getting ads for adopting an animal through WWF and I always think of you and Dude. Here's a link to an adopt-a-tiger packet (with stuffy included). dapostrophe , poor sweet baby B.  I hope she feels better soon. klong11 Ouch! I hope thinks turn around for you soon. I'm really sorry YH is being such a dick. Especially around the holidays and after he just pulled something similar at Thanksgiving. You are a great mom and have a good heart. snoopmommymom party down girl! I hope you have a great birthday.

I'm not offended, because that is too strong of a word, but I'm something less than that because we offered to take a TKD mom's 2 kids rollerskating with us on Sunday and to get them dinner afterward. Her husband is deployed and she has kidney stones--so in other words she's got a lot on her plate. Plus with the holiday quickly approaching I'm sure she could use some time to herself. Her kids came to our kids' birthday party at the rink so they know how to skate. She just kind of ghosted us on it and didn't reply. If she were busy I'm sure she would have said they've got other plans right away. If that was me in that position I'd jump at the chance. *shrugs*

Morning! H is at school and right after I left and went the opposite direction I got a text that my order was ready for pick up at Walmart. So I turned around and picked that up. Now S and I are hanging at home. I need to clean up this disaster because FIL is coming over later to watch the girls while I go to a meeting and work. MIL is having an angiogram today, I don’t know if I mentioned last week that she was hospitalized overnight. I texted her on Thursday to let her know I needed her to watch the girls and she informed me she was in the hospital. I was miffed she chose not to tell us about it. I guess she had really high BP so the doctors wanted to run a bunch of tests because she has a family history of heart stuff. Everything came back clear, but they still wanted to do this test. I hope Bea is feeling better soon dapostrophe! |
