snoopmommymom the pigs in a blanket are pretty straight-forward, I just cut each triangle in half length-wise and roll them up. If you want them to have that glossy brown finish you can brush the dough with a little egg before baking but I usually skip that step myself. I personally like them best with spicy mustard but kids and H love ketchup on them, too Sounds like a great birthday; enjoy your night out tmrw, too!

lahdeedah i think it’s normal ☺️ I’m sure once they arrive safely you’ll feel better. I have felt anxious when my H takes one kid away for a weekend (he’s done this twice, taking one child to visit his parents). I think I dislike having the kids split up. I definitely worried more in those circumstances than I have when we’ve left town as a couple and kids have stayed behind, oddly enough. Go figure, guess I think they are safest in my parents’ hands lol.

Lol lahdeedah. Are they with your H? Heading to other family, I assume? My mom came to visit for a few days and I’m sending Mh and the boys back with her so they get more time to visit and spend with family. |

If it was me traveling without them, I probably wouldn’t bat an eye, but because they are traveling without me, I’m an anxious mess. I hope I will snap out of it once they reach their destination safely. |
