So I found out last night that mh is off of work from now until the New Year. Did he tell me he was taking all that time off? Nope. I'm irritated, because had I know he had all this pto to take then I would have made him take Cadence to all these appointments she had.
Plus, who the heck takes that much time off without telling his FAMILY. I mean, hi, it's the holidays, maybe we could, oh I don't know do something TOGETHER?? His plans are to sit around playing video games. Like, those are legit his plans, straight from the jackass' mouth.
I'm clearly irritated by this.

Another rainy morning. I cannot wait for ds to be off for two weeks and not have to cycle back and forward tot school twice a day. I made banana bread, a fruit salad and a nice dinner for Dh. He’s working so much lately and it’s wearing him down, he needs a pick me up. Dentist appointment in half an hour, wish me luck!

Yesterday I took M to the science museum where she complained about being bored the ENTIRE time. We were supposed to go to a light display last night but my MIL had to fly out to AL at the last minute because both of her parents were hospitalized with the flu. Not sure when she'll be back.  |

tgrimes , oh no! I hope they will be ok! Me too. Grandpa just turned 90 and grandma will be 90 next month. They were supposed to come visit us for Thanksgiving but grandpa had skin cancer and started radiation therapy. They changed their trip to after Christmas. Hopefully they'll still make it out here. |

Morning Ladies! Cookie extravaganza with my sister was a fail on so many levels, but also a ton of fun. My sister, being her true scatterbrained self, forgot half of her ingredients and neglected to follow her recipe on both cookies she made and they ended up super sad. I know this about her, so we had a few extras to make and cracked up at the Pinterest fails. The kids had a blast, we made a huge mess, and it was just a nice time to be with my sister.
I have some odds and ends to do today, but I'm not feeling very motivated. Need to get moving, I know this week is going to fly by!

LOL I did find out a week or two ago that he quite taking his anxiety meds cold turkey, which explained his dizziness and general malaise, but I told him to go to the doctor and if they decided it was ok to be off them, then fine. They didn't think it was a good idea and gave him a new prescription.
We are also dealing with his drinking and I think he probably views this time off with me still at work as ideal time to drink. If I come home even one day during his time off and he is drunk, though, then there will be a serious problem and the camel's back will be irreparably broken at that point.
In other words, we have at lot of issues.

@klongoria, I’d be pissed too! I can’t believe he wouldn’t think to mention that. I have all next week off and I’m so excited, I’ve been talking to Dh about it for weeks. Lol. Does cadence get vacation days at daycare she has to use by the end of the year? Maybe cash in on those make him have a daddy daughter day.

Morning. I’m in a mood this Morning too and was not pleasant toward my children. I’m at work for a half hour then going back to preschool to help with some Christmas things they are doing today.
Our couch finally gets delivered tonight, fingers crossed it fits down the stairs!

Hi!!! On the shuttle. Some guy is playing a video super loud so everyone is talking even louder then normal.
I only work two days this week so I’m already checked out. I talked to C the other night and he forgot that I was taking this much time off this December. I need to use my baby bonding time and my parents are out here.

Did drop off, ran to Tim hortons for gift cards, went to boot camp, got A down for a nap and just sat down with breakfast and it's already almost time for pick up. School goes so fast!

Morning.
Busy weekend with my mom here. I managed to get a new phone after a lot of time spent waiting at Target. I downloaded Tapatalk last night and it’s so weird. I guess it’s an upgrade and I’ll have to get used to it. I also can’t find the private board. If someone could tag me or something.
Hopefully I have a good day at work today. I’m ready to be off so I can go through the boys’ closet to purge while my mom is here to keep them occupied.

DC is only closed the 24th and 25th, so Cadence will be there. I mentioned to him that if he wanted to keep her home a day or two he could and they could do stuff and it was basically a "nope" answer. I commented on cleaning up around the house and he said, "maybe one day". I'm just not going to press it because honestly, I've got a foot out the door at this point and I view it as hopeless. He is who he is and has no plans to change even for Cadence, which is sad, but maybe that will change once he doesn't get to see her every day.

klong11 You can certainly tell me to MYOB but it struck me that you are dealing with two "absences" this holiday season. Your dad who you obviously adored and your H who is not fully present. That is A LOT. You are very strong and I hope you know you have a lot of support.

klong11 I mean this in the nicest possible way, but you say you already have one foot out the door, it sounds like he does too. Not sharing that he isn't working for 2 weeks, not volunteering to spend anytime with C or help around the house, taking himself off his meds without talking to a doctor, he sounds like he's in a downward spiral. I know you two have had issues for awhile, but he's creating a pretty big shit storm himself. I hope things turn around and he figures his shit out. I mean, I'm a goddamn mess myself, but I told my H the days I was taking off for the holidays as soon as I turned in my PTO form. I also have no plans of sitting at home drinking. Plus I'll be watching my kid all day. Which...will make me want to drink. I'm sorry you're dealing with all this. If you want me to poof this, let me know.

Working 4.5 days this week, then off for the rest of the year. Made it a little easier to get out of bed this morning!
I have things I should be doing, but I'm working on the resume for a guy my H works with. I'm not sure how I got roped into this, but I'm doing it. Poor guy, he didn't even spell 'college' right, so I hope I can help him find something.
I also need to swing by Target on my way home today. Santa Clause needs to get his/her shit together at our house...nothing has been purchased for the kid yet.

lahdeedah you recommended that great restaraunt in Destin, when I reached out to them, they don't sell gift cards online, I have to call. Well I called and they're only open after 5pm. And I never called back. I know there is no way I'd get it in time now. Do you have any other recommendations I could look into to see if they have online options available? or I guess I could just print the menu off to that other place and wrap that, letting them know the card is on the way. Regardless, I'm terrible about getting organized this year for Christmas!
